FAQ:
What equipment do you use? I have a Canon 700D, a Canon Powershot S120 and a GoPro Hero 3+ Black. I edit on my Acer 8GB RAM laptop.
How did you learn to edit? Mainly I taught myself. I downloaded Premiere Pro and began to figure out how to use it through trial and error. Eventually, and with the help of many tutorials, you start to figure out what works.
What work are you doing? Right now I am running my video blog while doing freelance web design to supplement my travelling.
How do you meet the people in your videos? Hostels, guesthouses and conversations! You meet people so easily while travelling. Just open yourself up and you will meet all sorts of amazing people.
Any more questions, please post in the comments below!
Good morning, okay. We are waking up this morning because we just went out last night
in Khao San. We got back, thank you. Hello. We got back about 6am and we woke up late.
I say this morning, it's the afternoon already. It's about 1 in the afternoon but that's what
you do in Khao San. You go out. It's the place to go out and meet other backpackers. It's so
loud here so let me talk to you in a second. That's a bit better. Okay, yeah, we went out
in Khao San last night. Really good night. A little bit hungover today but now we need to
go and find some breakfast, lunch, brunch, I don't know. And then after that, no real plans
for the day but I'll let you know what we figure out over breakfast, lunch, brunch.
Kai is grabbing breakfast now. Egg pan. Looks good actually. I've already eaten. I had breakfast
this morning because I had to wake up a bit earlier and do some editing. Kai's just grabbing
breakfast now and then we're going to head out for the day. I like the pomegranate juice. So I
think we have decided that in the most cultural way possible, we're going to head to watch Batman
vs Superman. That's what you do in Bangkok. And it's gone. It just impaled 50 bar while I was
talking. I think I may have mentioned it before but I love 7-Eleven. It's got a full iced coffee,
this big for about 15 baht, 30p. So damn good. Right, change of plan. We've decided to seize
the day so instead of spending it inside the cinema, we're going to head to Bangkok's ghost
tower. I'll show you more about that in a minute. First we need to jump on a boat to the centre of
Bangkok. So this is the ghost tower of Bangkok. It's an abandoned building in the centre of
Bangkok. It was abandoned after the recession I think in 2008, 2009 and now they've opened up
for people that are in the know to explore which is what we're going to do. Go and explore the
abandoned building. Hey buddy, how's it going? I'm sorry. Have a great day. Yeah I know. So we were
just about to try and sneak in and jump over this fence but a policeman just came out of that door
and there's lots of signs up saying you're not allowed in anymore and there's actually a police
report on the wall about people that have been taking photos. Although I'd really like to go in
and explore it, I'd love to go up because it would give you some great photo opportunities. I don't
know. Never? No. So it's a bit ambiguous. There's signs up saying trespassers will be
prosecuted, no filming, there's a policeman there but then I just spoke to some guys and
they said that you can get in for 500 baht normally. So maybe we'll try again before we
but we 100% can't get in today anyway. So since the ghost tower was closed we just jumped on the
Skytrain to MBK. I'm sorry I'm back here again. I think this is the third time that I've vlogged
from the mall and there are much more exciting things to do in Bangkok but it just so happens
I'm here again because you really want to go see Batman Superman. I love going to the cinema
on a hangover so that's what I'm going to do. Yeah about that. Kai is looking for some Beats
by Dre headphones and I think he's bartering now. He just got offered 1,200 for a pair of Beats
which is about 25 pounds. And you can't hear that? No. I'm going to shout at him.
Oh my god I want a drone. Stop that person. TGI hook me up send me a drone please.
So we decided to get dinner first at MBK food court. I've got a stewed pork leg on rice. Kai
what did you get? I don't know chicken and rice I guess yeah and some miso soup. I think it's miso.
So just while we're sat here we have just decided that Kai is going to start his own channel for
sure. So I'll put a link to that. We'll have it set up by the time I put this video out.
Subscribe to his channel and videos are coming soon. Thank you. Is it rude to do that when you've got stuff in your hand?
Is it rude to do this with stuff in your hand? I don't know I don't think so. Right okay we just
got tickets to go to Batman Superman. So I'm going to go watch it now and I'll tell you what it's like.
Kai with his tripod and his camera. We've both just strolled into the cinema and no one even
cared that we're walking in with a tripod and a big-ass camera.
So what did you think? I think anyone who says that film is bad is like all deaf and dumb. That was awesome so Ben Affleck you don't have to be sad.
I guess you don't know what I'm talking about. There's this really funny video about
they're interviewing Ben Affleck and it's his reaction to the really bad reviews that it's been
receiving. So I'll link that below as well. But yeah I love that. Anyway we're gonna head back to
Khao San Road now. I think it's late now. It's 9 or 10. So we're gonna head back to the hotel.
Cool, thanks man. So just walking back through Khao San Road now. No thanks man. But we're not going out because we need to be up at 6 in the morning for what I have planned tomorrow.
So I'm going to bed. But check back for that. It's gonna be a really exciting day tomorrow.
Really looking forward to it. Come back and have a look. So for now thank you for watching and this is my life.
