SPRING NEW IN HAUL | ARKET, ZARA, COS & MORE | SPRING OUTFIT IDEAS

Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel. In today's video I'm going to be sharing some of my recent spring purchases. These are considered pieces that I have picked up over the last month or so ahead of the new season. I am so excited for spring. Spring hasn't quite sprung yet in London but I'm hoping in the next couple of weeks we will get warmer weather and be well into spring. Most of these pieces are items that you can wear in multiple different ways, different outfits or are key spring staples and I think that's something really important to think about when you're shopping and something that I do is how many times can I wear this item? Will it fit seamlessly with the other items in my wardrobe and is it going to be a hard-working piece that I can wear lots? So we have some items from Cars and Other Stories, Zara and Arquette and more so let's get into it. The first item we have is a t-shirt from Cars but it's not an ordinary t-shirt because it is slightly cropped and it's a heavyweight t-shirt so the material is slightly thicker which means that it looks more luxe and the quality is really good. I definitely recommend getting a heavyweight t-shirt for spring just because they look a lot better, they wash better and a t-shirt is such a key piece to have for spring. You can see in the cutaway that I styled it with blue jeans. It's just such a good piece to have in your wardrobe and it's so easy to style. It also has quite a relaxed fit which I really liked. Next we have a boucle jacket from Arquette. Boucle jackets and cropped jackets are really having a moment right now and are super trending. This one in particular is giving Chanel-esque vibes. Since I bought this I've been wearing it so much, so much to the point where I'm trying to avoid wearing it so that it's not the only jacket that I'm seen in but there's so many easy ways to style it with trousers, with jeans, you really just cannot go wrong with a classic cream boucle jacket. I wore it in Paris and you can see I styled it with blue jeans and brown accessories but there's really so many different ways to style a jacket like this. Another one from Arquette, I'm really loving Arquette right now, it's definitely one of my favourite brands, is a denim shirt. I've been looking for a while now, I think even since last year, to find a denim jacket that I like the quality of and I like the fit of that wasn't too oversized or too much material. I think because I'm petite I was worried about it just being too much denim and not being able to tuck it into jeans and it just not working. When I tried this one on the fit was perfect. I've styled it with jeans but you could also wear it with trousers and a vest top or black leather trousers. Double denim is super trending right now so I've also worn it with the denim to create a double denim look. I really like the quality of this one, it wasn't too bulky but at the same time it does have a bit of a thickness to it so that it doesn't look too thin and flimsy and I really like the colour as well and just so happened that my favourite pair of blue jeans are exactly the same colour so they work perfectly together and a great fun piece to add to your spring wardrobe which is a little bit different and can add a bit of interest. Arquette have had this cropped trench coat in store since last year and I really wanted to get it because I love wearing trench coats but I decided not to so this year I thought you know what I'm going to get it and I think it's a nice twist on a normal trench coat probably to be worn more casually so I've teamed it here with a which is more of a casual weekend look running errands type of vibe and I love the large lapels here and the detail on the shoulders. I wear a trench coat all the time in spring they're just the most versatile piece that you can pop onto an outfit even if I'm going to the shop and I'm wearing gym leggings and a jumper and trainers if I pop on a trench I just feel a little bit more chic and put together so it's definitely a staple in my spring wardrobe so I know that although this one is cropped and slightly different I'm sure I will get my wear out of it I just unfortunately haven't been able to wear it yet because spring has not sprung yet. Next from under the stories we have this gorgeous sweetheart neckline knit rib top the fabric feels so nice on the skin I really like this thin knit rib it feels luxurious and it's better fitting as well I've styled it with white trousers a tan belt from Isabel Marant and a brown bag and I really like here the neutrals that come together it just feels really classic it feels chic it feels quite girly and it feels very in touch with the spring colors. I think this is a nice basic to have and I've actually been on the hunt for something like this for a long time and I'm sure I'm going to be wearing it lots over the next couple of months. Some of these items still have tags on that's because I haven't worn them outside the house yet and I don't take the tags off things until I wear them outside of the house just in case you change your mind about them and also they feel super new when you do decide to wear them and take the tag off. So next up we have a black cropped top from under the stories again this is a really lovely thick knit material and it's ribbed and I started again with the white trousers for a monochrome look I think this looks really chic and it would be great for a date night or going out for dinner. I really know that I'm going to get my wear out of this top would also look great with a blazer. I just wanted to get a couple of basics like this which are slightly elevated a little bit different to a normal cotton vest top and they just add a little bit more to your outfit and help elevate your outfit too. I really fell in love with this blue ruffled top from under the stories I'm not going to lie the ruffles are quite a lot and the puff sleeves are definitely giving drama. I thought this would be a really fun piece to style for the evening or if you have a brunch or someone's birthday or dinner going out this is a fun piece that you could style with jeans or tailored trousers and it will definitely catch attention and I think it's a really beautiful top. I'm not really one to wear color I like to wear neutrals so blue is sort of as far as I go in terms of color when it comes to spring as this light blue goes really well with a neutral color palette like tan, cream, white, black this is really giving spring vibes. It also has a nice wrap around detail so that you can pull it in and tie it at the back which just means as well that you can cinch it in at the waist. Moving on to Zara I found the most gorgeous two-piece a bandeau and trousers and I really love the color for spring it's a beautiful beige neutral tone and I'll definitely be wearing this for my next date night or going out for drinks with the girls. I really like wearing a coordinate outfit it makes me feel more put together and chic and this outfit makes me feel confident. I probably will get the trousers taken up slightly because I'm only five foot three and as you can see the trousers are quite long on me they're not actually that bad considering as I usually find Zara trousers are so long on me. One thing that is great about two pieces and coordinates as well is that you can wear them as separate so the bandeau top for example would look great with white tailored trousers or white jeans and the trousers beige trousers you could wear for work you could wear more casually so I like that from this cohort although I will wear it first as one outfit I can then get many other outfits out of the same two pieces by mixing and matching them with other pieces in my wardrobe. So next week me and Ryan are going to Florence in Italy to go and view some wedding venues so we're going from Wednesday to Sunday and we'll spend two days viewing venues and then one day for two days we'll go and explore and just have a little bit of a break and spend quality time together and I have picked up a few things that would be great for that trip including this gorgeous bag I really love the cutaway detail it feels super sturdy I also love that it has this pouch inside so you can put all of your things inside and then make sure that it's safe but also that it's not seen I don't really understand those transparent bags where you can see everything because I carry so much in my bag that if I did that the bag would not look very nice because it would look really messy but this is just so gorgeous this will be so lovely for spring and summer and also for going on holiday too and it's a great size so I think I will use this as my carry-on handbag for the airplane as well and then I picked up a white bandeau top in this linen material and satin shorts I really like the look of the satin shorts online but when they came they're really nice but the band is a stretching material and I'm not too sure about that because I probably would have a little bit more structure so that if you were wearing a top to go inside you could wear that tucked into the shorts so I'm not sure on the back but the top I love I probably wear these next week with Bermuda shorts I already have a white pair of Bermuda shorts that I could wear those with or they also look great with a pair of white linen trousers and I think it's a piece that I will wear a lot throughout spring but then also for summer on holiday it's a really gorgeous cute piece to have in my wardrobe. Next up we have a bomber jacket also from Zara this is black and it's slightly cropped and it has shoulder pads which I really like because it gives a nice structure to the bomber jacket. Bomber jackets are another trending piece for 2023 but at the same time they're still a classic piece that I don't really think are going to go out of fashion and there's just so many ways you can style a bomber jacket. In terms of the price this was £89.99 so slightly more expensive than you usually expect at Zara however I do feel like the quality of the jacket matches the price I have noticed that Zara prices have gone up slightly I'm not sure if that's because of inflation or if it's because of their material makeup maybe it's a bit of the two. I would style this with trousers or with jeans like I have here with the grey trousers and when it gets a little bit warmer I would like to team it with Bermuda shorts so here I have black Bermuda shorts but they'd also look great with white Bermuda shorts or even a satin maxi skirt or midi skirt that would look really cute. I think this is just a great jacket to have and I know that this goes with so much in my wardrobe because I do wear lots of black, white, cream and tans. I just know that this will go with so many pieces in my wardrobe as well. So the last item from Zara is this black racer vest top I also have it in white and the quality of this is really good it's thicker than a normal vest top and I really particularly like the racer style here because I think it's more flattering because you have more of your arm on show and also this part here it just makes it feel a little bit more trendy but also such a great basic to have in your wardrobe looks good with jeans with trousers it's just one of those pieces that you can pop on underneath a blazer or underneath a jacket definitely a staple piece to have in your wardrobe for spring and I would recommend these ones from Zara because the quality feels really nice I haven't washed this one yet but in terms of how it feels and the thickness with the white one as well it isn't see-through I've styled it here with white jeans and a bomber jacket but the different ways that you can style a tank top for spring is literally endless the next item I have is a denim maxi skirt and this is from Stradivarius I've been wearing this a lot recently here are the different ways that I wore it while I was in Paris and I didn't think I'd really be a denim skirt kind of girl but I really loved the fit of this one it was also a great price it was 30 pound and I really like the fit as someone who's only five foot three it's just the right length as well sometimes with maxi length items I find that they drag on the floor but this is the perfect length I think wearing a skirt as well makes a nice change from wearing denim jeans so I'm very excited about this one this is an oversized blazer from Rihanna definitely more of an investment piece but something like this I know I'm going to have in my wardrobe forever I have the exact same one in black and I do not need another black blazer now because the quality is great the fit is amazing as well it is quite oversized so if you're not into oversized I would recommend it for you but for me this is perfect I actually did a styling reel on Instagram recently showing seven different ways to style it so I will pop that in the description for you to see there's so many different ways that you can style this and I'm so happy that this piece is now in my wardrobe it's a beautiful color for spring as well I really like the beige neutral sandy tones I think it's really nice to wear those sort of colors in spring and lighten up your wardrobe compared to maybe say the black and the gray dark brown and the darker colors that you might wear in spring and bring a little bit more lightness and spring colors into the mix for the new season the last item are these blue straight leg jeans from River Island when I tell you that I haven't found a pair of jeans that fit this well in so long honestly I'm so glad I found these these are in the size short so they come in a short leg which is essentially petite regular and long which I think is so good because if you're slightly taller or you're slightly shorter it can be so difficult to find jeans I have so many jeans that I haven't been able to wear and then I've given away or sold because they just don't fit properly I also bought these in the ecru off-white color because I thought they'd just be so great for spring I've worn both the blue and the ecru jeans in a number of the outfits throughout this video so you can see the different ways that they can be styled but a pair of blue straight leg jeans are such a great piece for spring I think they will form the base of many of my outfits for the new season and I really can rate the quality of River Island denim on the tag it says River Island denim specialist and it's because they have been doing denim for such a long time and when I was a teenager they were the go-to place to get your denim jeans so I'm so glad I found this one and if you're petite I definitely recommend checking out their jeans and getting the short size they actually just fit like a dream and I'm so glad that I have these so that's the end of the haul and all the pieces I've been buying ahead of the new season I'll pop all of the links to the items and the sizes that I wore in the description box I hope you've enjoyed the video and found it useful as well as a couple of outfit ideas and combinations for spring if you haven't already please like this video and subscribe to my channel I am new to youtube I started about a month ago and I'm really enjoying creating youtube content and it'll be so helpful for my channel I'll see you in the next video and thank you so much for watching
