Hey, what's going on everybody? Welcome back to another episode of Dutch and Brandy Eats.
Brandy's going to show us, she's cooking a taco soup. She's going to show us how to do it today.
She said it's pretty simple to do. It's kind of like a, is it a crock pot soup?
No, I'm going to serve it.
That's just how you're serving it in?
I'm going to serve it.
She's actually making it for the school, so she's putting it all together.
Then she's going to put it in the crock pot and then take it up there.
I've never had this before. Brandy, have you ever had this?
Yeah, we used to eat it all the time.
You never made it for me, so we'll see.
She said she's made it before. We're going to find out.
I'm sure it's really, really good.
I'll show you at the end of the video, taste testing it before we take it up there.
I hope you guys like today's video. If you do, smash that like button for us if you would.
Hey, if you're not subscribed to Dutch Eats, please subscribe. We're trying to grow this channel up.
I think we're up to 6,500 subscribers now.
We only need 500 more time hours to get monetized.
That's a big, big deal on YouTube.
I thank you guys very much for that. I hope you guys enjoy the rest of the video.
Okay, Brandy's going to read off the recipe for you guys.
It's pretty simple. I already showed you guys everything.
She's just browning the meat right now.
She'll end up putting the meat in the crock pot.
I've already got it warming up.
Actually, I need to put it on high to get it hot.
It's just pinto beans, kidney beans, whole corn, diced tomato and green chilies, and stewed tomatoes,
a ranch salad dressing mix, and some taco seasoning.
You just read my whole thing.
How are you going to do it?
We're just going to drain the meat and then add the seasonings all together.
Normally, you could serve it right now.
After it gets boiling, you simmer it for 15 minutes.
Since we're going to serve it later at lunchtime, we're going to just put it in the crock pot.
Is it kind of like a chili almost?
Yeah, it's pretty much chili, but you have corn and beans.
They call it a taco seasoning.
Yeah, because we're using taco seasoning instead of chili seasoning.
Homegrown beef.
For the teachers, it's an appreciation lunch.
Our school is really small.
We're trying to serve about 20 people, but it's not going to be just this.
We're just doubling the recipe because there's going to be other soups and sandwiches and stuff.
That'll be good.
This is going to be a really quick, easy video.
The thing with my editing software, I cannot just type up words and put it on the screen for you guys.
I'm either going to have to get a screenshot of the recipe or go down to the description box below.
I just read everything off to you.
It looks like it's really, really easy to do.
Like she said, it's kind of like a chili, but they call it a taco soup.
I think you guys are probably going to like this.
Stay tuned. I'll show you how to put it all together and then taste test it.
One thing that I left out, just because I didn't know everyone's taste preference,
there's diced tomatoes with green chilies, but it says you can also put a can of green chilies too.
But since there's already some in there, I just decided I'd rather be safe than have people not like that.
And if we make it for the girls tonight, we'll definitely leave those out.
There's not a lot of grease.
That's the good thing about grease.
I do have the hot water running, but there's not...
Oops, a little less in there.
Hopefully this holds all of it.
It will.
I wasn't too sure about it, but I think it's going to be the perfect size, honestly.
Do you have potato chips or anything to go with it?
People are bringing sour cream and all their other stuff, or cheese or whatever.
It's like a Mexican chili.
You could put cheese and sour cream on it, and then you could have tortilla chips in it, or Fritos, or whatever.
It basically looks like a Mexican chili, or just a chili with corn, but a different flavor because she used a taco mix.
And the ranch will make it good too.
Yeah, this little crock pot.
So we'll put it on high.
That should be a big crock pot. I got it on high already.
Okay.
Alright, so that was super quick, super easy. You guys can do this tonight.
Go to the store, get this stuff right now. Go get it for your family.
But stay tuned for just a little bit.
When you see me here in a minute, we're going to be taste testing it.
We're going to let it warm up and get it nice and hot.
And then we'll see how I like it. I think it's going to be awesome.
It smells great already just by putting all the ingredients in there.
Alright, I'll see you here in a minute.
Bailey, do you think it's going to be ready?
It ain't boiling yet, but it looks like steam's coming off of it.
Alright, try a bite, Randy.
I like your little wooden spoon.
Your little wooden spoon.
It's not hot?
I don't think so.
I mean, it's boiling. Hot wasn't boiling.
Is it good?
Let me try it.
It's a little spicy.
It's spicy?
No, just barely.
Alright, let's try this.
It needs to be warmer.
Yeah, but it's good.
I'll eat this tonight for dinner.
It's real good, actually.
Now, I'm almost wondering if you put some cheddar cheese on it.
That'd be pretty good.
They're good with cheese and sour cream and stuff.
It's actually really good.
Yeah, it's good.
You guys need to try it.
Cheddar cheese in it would probably be even better.
So, yeah, when we try it tonight, I'm definitely going to put some cheese in it.
I think it's going to be pretty freaking awesome.
Can't wait for tonight's dinner.
But I hope you guys like today's video.
Just a quick video.
This literally took like 10, 15-minute tops to make.
Just long enough to brown it and open all the cans and put it in there.
Super easy to do.
This is probably a recipe she's going to start using whenever we're busy after school
and going to jiu-jitsu and all that, come back and eat so we can quit eating out as much.
Pretty good idea, isn't it?
All right, guys.
Hope you guys like today's video.

You guys are awesome.
We love you guys.
Thanks for watching.
We'll catch you guys on the next episode of Dutch Eats.
Okay, guys.
I'm going to go ahead and read this recipe off for you.
It's going to be 2 pounds of ground beef, 1 taco seasoning package, 1 1⁄2 cups of water,
1 can of 16-ounce mild chili beans, undrained, 1 can of 15-ounce whole carnal corn, drained,
1 can of pinto beans, rinsed and drained, 15 ounces.
Let's see here.
1 can of 14-ounce stew tomatoes, 1 can of 10-ounce diced tomatoes with green chilies,
and if you want, you can add another can of 4-ounce chopped green chilies,
and then a ranch salad dressing mix, one of those, envelope style.
Mix it all together.
Heat it up.
Ready to serve.
