You know I don't drink coffee very often but I do drink sweet tea and I got this new
cup the other day and I really like it. Just an Ozark trail cup but
but anyways welcome back to the channel. Welcome back to Dutch Eats. This episode we are going to
be cooking some chicken fried rice. Now I'm going to leave some ingredients out because we don't
have them and the girls really don't care for them like peas. If I had carrots I would put carrots in
there. Peas and carrots is kind of the thing I'm leaving out but I'm going to put the garlic. I'm
going to put the onions also. We'll get into that in just a second but today I hope you guys are
having an awesome day. This is a really simple recipe that if you like Chinese food or chicken
fried rice you're going to want to make this. You're going to see just how easy it is to make
yourself at home. So I hope you guys enjoy today's episode of Dutch Eats chicken fried rice fast and
easy. Anyone can do it. I hope you guys enjoy. All right let's get into this. All right that meat
cleaver everyone's been asking about. I'll put a link down below to Amazon. Now those are little
bantam eggs. We don't get to use those as often as I like so I'm going to use a bunch for this recipe.
Really that equals about four regular eggs. You're just going to beat it up like normal like you
would and we're going to cook that here just a second. A little bit of butter. Two tablespoons
of butter right there and we'll let that melt for a second and then we're going to add our eggs.
We're going to cook our eggs in two. Oh there you go. Hey where'd that go? Hey come here. Two tablespoons
of butter. Kind of scramble them up for a minute. Nothing to it. Super easy. Let's see here. Come on.
There you go. All right scramble them up. Then when you salt and pepper to taste just do what you want
and then once they get done you're just going to put them in that little bowl right there.
Set them to the side and we'll add that here in just a little bit. Now I don't have my wok so I
had to use that. Now there's an onion but you know just however much onions you want to put in there.
Half an onion, quarter of an onion, whatever you want. So I'm just I'm chopping those up.
Pretty small. The girls aren't big fans of onions so I try not to put a lot of onions in things.
And then we're going to put about a tablespoon and a half of minced garlic. I didn't have any
garlic cloves. Okay so now we're just chopping up the chicken. I'm using five chicken thighs.
Boneless chicken thighs. You can chop them up to smaller pieces how you guys like it.
And don't worry about contamination. I clean my hands throughout the thing. Okay a little bit
olive oil. Then you're going to start cooking your onions and your garlic. Then that's when you're
going to bring in the chicken in just a second. Oh come on. There we go. All right now we're just
scoop the chicken up with the awesome meat cleaver. Throw it in there. Hurry up. Salt and
pepper to taste. And then we're going to put a little bit of pure sesame seed oil in there.
Okay you're just going to mix it up. Get it all nice and mixed. I like you don't have to put the
sesame oil in there. I just like it. I like the flavor it gives the chicken. So that's just a step
you can or cannot do. You don't have to do. And then we're going to go ahead and mix the soy sauce.
It's four tablespoons of that. And then two tablespoons of the oyster sauce. And I think the
oyster sauce is what really makes this dish taste the way it does. And you if you like Chinese food
I'm telling you. You're going to love homemade chicken fried rice. Come on. It comes out a little
bit like ketchup. And uh yeah there we go. A little bit more. Another one. Come on. And I said uh I
think I said a tablespoon and a half earlier with the sesame oil. I think it's more like a teaspoon
and a half. So here we go. Let's put this in there. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Here we go.
Okay well today there it goes. And just mix it up. That's just so you get an even coat whenever
you do put it on your rice. One piece doesn't taste more heavy than the other. So all right we're about
ready to add the rice here. Get your chicken cooked all the way done. And then you're pretty
much just heating up the rice and everything else. And there you go. Use day-old rice. This isn't. It
sticks a lot more. But day-old rice won't stick near as bad. We're kind of in a hurry to do this
and I wanted to make it again. So day-old rice is highly recommended. Now just add the sauce
just like that. And then you're just going to mix it up like you would anything else.
Come on. There you go. Man it smells awesome right now I'm telling you.
You guys are going to like this. I just put the eggs in now and just get them mixed up and you're
ready to go. Hey thanks for watching this episode. Hope you guys like it. Hope you guys try it. I
think you're really going to enjoy it. All right I got it done. It's that easy. Now you could add
the peas and carrots and other little things like that if you'd want. We don't have them plus the
girls don't like the peas. So this is actually the second day in a row I made this. The girls wanted
it again today. So I thought I might as well make a video for you guys showing how easy it is to
make your own chicken fried rice at home. Check it out. Awesome. No I'm not going to eat this
whole thing by myself which I probably could put a pretty good dent in it. I'm going to share it
with the girls. So I'm going to get off here. Hope you guys like today's episode of Dutch Eats
chicken fried rice. Cheap and easy. I'm going to say this is probably under 10 bucks easily.
It's going to feed a family of five and we're going to have a little bit of leftovers too.
