1ST HALF BATTLE! Jokic (24 PTS) vs Durant (21 PTS) & Booker (19 PTS) In Game 4!

Here comes Booker, slicing in, got it! Fourth time's a charm for Phoenix. There's Gordon, off balance, Aiton was there to bother the shot. Durant and Booker, 86 points between them in game three. K.D. lighting the lamp from deep. For not only Booker, but K.D. the other night. Gordon back to Porter, this is a corner three. Misses badly, Jokic is there, weak side. First season for a Kogi here in Phoenix, signed as a free agent last summer. Jokic off balance, just flicks it up and in. They have to make this a track meet and certainly get easy scoring opportunities. But it's all predicated off of good defense on this end. Jokic filling it up from deep. Durant probing against Gordon, crosses over, pump fakes, shot, got it! Surgical. And certainly you want to try to give some time for Durant and Booker throughout this game. This bench important here for the Suns in this stretch. Jokic maintaining aggressiveness with the two fouls, look at Booker! That could have been close. A lot of contact underneath as Jokic plays with two, Booker taking contact! Final half minute, Landale! Here comes Booker, full head of steam! He just keeps on coming for Phoenix! Will this thing be 2-2 headed back to Denver? Or will the Nuggets even face KD? Keeping Booker on the bench, this is Payne. Now to Durant over the top of Green, he hits and he's fouled! With 13 for Phoenix. Yeah, right here. Great, quick, decisive move. KD gets to his sweet spot. And I think by attacking last game and even early here to start, seeing the ball go through the basket. On that Durant jump shot. Murray feeds the post, Jokic making it look easy to put them back in the lead. Here comes Murray taking some contact, Aiton was there, but his defensive activity, Grant, has been tremendous here in the first half, Booker! Leading to that miss, and I tell you, Phoenix, they are out quick after misses in transition. Well, that two-man game between Murray and Jokic, deadly. And Nikola Jokic now five of nine. He's got 13 for the Nuggets. This is Okogie, swings it to Booker, elbow shot, got it, and he's fouled! Brown, excuse me, three. It's really because Phoenix is driving, forcing the defense, excuse me, the officials, off the front of the rim and the weak side clear by Durant. Outlets to Booker, again, Phoenix trying to push pace at every opportunity. They're just trying to find some balance to assist Booker and Durant. Here comes Jokic, banging bodies with Aiton, contact, and he's headed to the free throw line. First half, game four, Suns trying to tie this series at two. Kevin Durant from the high post. 16 for KD, Suns back in front, Jokic operating quickly. Both teams having great success off the dribble, getting to the rim. For the energy level in this building is just off the charts. Durant puts it on the deck, operates against Gordon, got it! Murray feeds the post, Jokic sandwich, puts it down! Somehow able to get it to drop.
