We drove all over the state looking for some of the BEST hidden gem swimming holes in Oregon. We found beautiful clear, blue water, sweet cliff jumps, gorgeous waterfalls and even a nice baby slide into a pristine, blue, creek pool. We braved cold water, unforgiving dirt roads over multiple mountain ranges and even an intense "near death" tubing incident, all to bring you this video!

My name is Jesse St Louis (AKA Infamous JSL) and I'm an actor that likes to go on awesome adventures between gigs. I've been called a "no frills Bear Grylls" but mostly I've been called an Actor. Traveler. Smart-ass.
We're exploring some beautiful hidden creeks today in Oregon.
Right now we're going to be exploring the Narrows of the Umpqua River because
we're driving by I saw a sign that said Narrows
and I was hooked. I love Narrows from the Narrows in Zion to the Tohunga Narrows
near LA. Anything with the title Narrows in it
has my heart and I must explore it. Narrows there's some nice jumps here
like Narrows section but very enjoyable. We're gonna tube
this little Narrows section. I'm gonna go in a little further down
after all that white water right there. Tubing the Umpqua River Narrows.
Hold this. We're tubing. Deadly art of tubing. Iceberg right ahead.
What are you scared of?
You just jumped off a 30 foot cliff. Pretty sweet hidden gem here
in southern Oregon. This Blue Hole Falls I mean
hey sounds pretty impressive. Let's see if it lives up to the name.
Well so far I'm liking the looks of Bryce Creek.
Well guys we may have a situation on our hands
because somebody said that if I depth checked it
they were gonna jump and now it sounds like she's backing out.
What? It's cold. Okay well I'm going I'm going to depth check it.
So I guess you're going in if it's deep enough right?
You're jumping?
It's definitely colder than something I've been in recently.
So five minutes down the road another spot on beautiful Bryce Creek
right here. It's getting kind of dark. The sun's going over the ridge there
but this is a beautiful pool and you might even be able to slide that so I'm
gonna go check that out right now. It's probably
might be a little bit warmer than what we were just in but
not quite sure. Look how pristine this water is. Look how pristine this place is.
This is how it should stay if you visit nature. I don't care where it is. Anywhere
in nature. If it's pristine if there's already
graffiti you do your part. Pack out your garbage and
if you can leave it better than you found it guys.
If we don't take care of this nobody else will.
It's our responsibility being a member of Team Infamous
keep places like this clean pristine so that your children their
children for generations to come can still
enjoy this and swim in this water and enjoy
the bounty that is nature right? We're all a part of this cycle.
We drink the water. We return it to the earth.
Eventually we our bodies will decay and return to the earth.
We're all one thing. Treat it as if you would treat yourself.
This morning off to a great start out here exploring House
Rock. Right near House Rock campground as we make our way north through
Oregon. We're gonna be hitting plenty of these spots.
Secret little swimming holes above House Rock. Nice big pool
with a big log and rock to jump off of at the base of the main
House Rock Falls. But we're exploring above House Rock Falls right now just
looking for little nooks and crannies to let you guys know
about. Tucked behind Quartz Creek here we're
about 10 or 12 miles up and there's this side
canyon here.
Look at that Cascade Falls. Beautiful hidden gem. It looks like there might
have been a pool here at one point but as you can see now
filled in with a ton of rocks. They got a heavy wet winter up here
but still I mean come on. Absolutely gorgeous.
Today exploring Triple Falls out on the Santiam River here in the Willamette
National Forest of Oregon. This is a beautiful hidden gem. We have
Henline Creek. We have another creek that empties into
the Santiam River here. That other creek I don't know the name
of. Absolutely stunning waterfall. There's a
little waterfall on Santiam River with a big log across it.
This is loaded with tons of swimming holes.
That beautiful falls. The parking situation is kind of sketchy.
I'm not sure the exact location where you should park and there's really only
one slight use trail to get down here.
Definitely not a high traffic area but in terms of hidden gems of Oregon
this is at the top of my list.
So be prepared to do some bushwhacking, route finding,
have a compass, GPS, map, all that if you come out here.
Bring enough water, food, all the 10 essentials that you need and most
importantly pack out your garbage. Dig your
cat holes for solid waste. Pack out your paper from
solid waste. Treat this place with respect. Keep it
pristine for generations to come and for me
because I want to come back here next year.
If I find poopy paper I'm not sharing any more spots with you guys.
We're going to check out Blue Hole Falls on Bryce Creek but this was
right off the highway so I just or highway I mean this was right off the
first paved road we've been on in two hours so I just wanted to take a
quick look at this. That's what I love about Oregon. That's a
little no-named drainage ditch
by the side of the road but it's still absolutely beautiful.
Infamous.
