Highlights: AZ - PSV | Eredivisie 2022/2023

Good afternoon and nice to have you looking in The weather is beautiful here in Alkmaar That is probably the case throughout the entire Netherlands You can still hope But no matter how nice the weather is there is always a lot of wind A wind always brings somewhat cooler temperatures It's nice that you can play football like Klaasie and the others are about to do Fred Rutte is coaching in his anniversary match The 300th time as a head coach in the Eredivisie And I think he would have liked to have postponed it even longer never celebrated Because then Van Nistelrooy would have been number one here But that's not the case The facts are different AZ is the same with the Rijnders and the Kleinen The same setup as last time Simons from the side Up to the midfield And Veerman In Sangaré In the back of the Eindhoven players Wenen Radwaid Ramaljo and Van Aanholt In front are El Ghazi and De Jong leading the way is Simons Radwaid Ramaljo De Jong El Ghazi Yes well done Kerkes went in there very quickly and fiercely But missed the ball It is ultimately a header from Simon Klaas comes over to the good work of Mijnhans Then it becomes care This is also not good by the way Can Karlsson benefit from it Low and hard Klaasie PSV just defended well inside It's a big pity but it's not what is recommended I've already run out of breath from the ball Door Sangaré El Ghazi takes the corner kick Good work by Sangaré Here is the headball that is not quite right At least not for PSV Ramaljo De Jong She had the Jacobs twice but the second time wasn't quite right Ultimately PSV came here via Simons on the left side And not on the side Bold move but a good one By Subbawara He doesn't immediately accept the excuses In my opinion that's a good tackle That's a strange reaction Subbawara remains calm Ryan 2-5 Simons A nice ball With the heel And another corner kick Or is she out of bounds The latter It's going to stop here for now For PSV it's a decent first quarter Had the Jacobs Kerkes And there is Pavlidis Pavlidis can't get off a shot No Well defended By Ramaljo Good ball On Carlsen Carlsen On the outside comes Kerkes Kerkes On the ball Hard and low forward Carlsen is not gone yet No He is still there Benitez with the intervention Pavlidis shoots Pavlidis looks at the ball once more here PSV comes out Through Simons He is with Simons on the other side It goes on for a long time That one is also intercepted And finally caught by Ryan Onderschepping was from Kerkes On the other hand it was found Benitez made the good save on Pavlidis' shot It took a moment They were halfway through the first half But then there was Azzed Rijnders who returns him to Subawara And that brief duel Rijnders now with the space Rijnders with the space And this level that still goes by quite a bit Benitez is booed We know the tricks of Rijnders Can't stop everything Qualified for the final They have to at least all aim for the target Not so quiet Wide over Zagare The ball was passed by Pavlidis And then Klaasie waits for Pavlidis Pavlidis who is now walking inside And ultimately there freedom is not found The freedom he gets from Ramalho Perfectly played There's a good gap there And it's offside for El Ghazi He can take a look I wanted to say that I would like to make a good pass Technically though But not tailored to him He can't afford to face it with his head The third time El Ghazi breaks through on the right It doesn't seem too bad from El Ghazi But it's a meter too wide This is a dangerous run for PSV And the ball is placed over the goal line Door Kerkes Myans Rijnders Weggelopen is Pavlidis He now gets the ball Little time The shot may not be strong enough Benit's rescue is of course also good Chancellor This is good Voorzet was out of reach for Pavlidis De Jong sends Simons away Simons alone Then Sugawara makes the mistake there But he doesn 't do it Because he can pass He is iron strong And then Sugawara has bad luck one side in that he doesn't stop And also good luck on the other side Want you stay at least with 11 players But it's the first and best opportunity for PSV That opportunity is flawlessly seized By Savi Simons It's only one goal From the top scorer position Hazard knows what he needs to do He needs to score two goals He wants to take third place And there Pavlidis tried to make an initial attempt Little ballet by Rijnders That was well done And here is the equalizer That should have been there Benit is a painter and a sculptor And the leg Adrenaline is pouring out of the ears But here is the beginning Very close 1-1 Bazoer And now Bazoer is down Penalty Makkeli is in position To be able to assess Whether it is also a penalty And that's what he finds Very decided The momentum returns to the game That's what they are coming In the 84th minute it's 1-1 Fully integrated 6 minutes left El Ghazi has a yellow card From the first half El Ghazi needs to come off The PSV With one man less they pressed on What else are you supposed to make of this That the whole card is This time a bit less far And then quite a bit folded That's called But also over And he ran straight across the field Ryan His stairs are not good enough Simon's Is he going to decide it Is he going to become the top scorer I think so He takes off the shirt Simon scores 2-1 He naturally gets a yellow card Taking off two shirts Is that twice Not that much But he's happy For someone who's had some setbacks today He only gives the correct answer Two times score AZ loses the last game of the season Because Makkeli blows the whistle here Two trappers of him Very active Very present Xavi Simons He decided the match in favor of PSV
