All Arsenal Preseason Goals!

We mentioned the comeback just a few seconds ago. We played the system we played with last season. Here is Pakaio Saka. Three waiting inside the six yard box. Saka shot past the corner! Terrific hit! And what a start. The Gunners have the advantage. And it's Pakaio Saka. Superstar number seven. He was in terrific form for the national side of course in the European qualifiers just last month. And he's picked up where he left off. He can do the space. Marial chasing. Kossar in the middle. And Ketia as well. Makes its way to Jesus. Chipping it to the back post! Oh! That hit! Marial Jesus! What a goal! Open the scoring in the all-star game! What a fantastic team goal this is from Arsenal. But it all starts from Jorginho. Who is press resistant because his technique is fantastic. And tight areas. The ability to find the right pass in the right moment. Saka makes the perfect run to now stretch the back line. Over the top. Saka trying to get behind Marial. Saka spinning away from Marial. Sliding in. Kossar! Two spectacular goals for Arsenal! They almost lead. It's 2-0. And listen. We can't give this man, Pakaio Saka, enough credit. We talk about his age. We talk about his intelligence. Well, we see his full capabilities on display on this play here. He checks back first to create that little bit of space in behind. But then he adds a composure here. His head is always up. You see this often, Saylor. And it's a good ball across. Kossar does well. Getting back on his stronger right foot. And then just picks that one out. Just a brilliant combination. Jason is scaling on it. Shouts for a handball as it comes off Tim Parker. It's given! Penalty to Arsenal! 13 seconds into the second half! Virginia is taking his time. Making Tyler Miller wait. And then sending Tyler Miller. A little bit the wrong way. Frozen. And it's 3-0 for Arsenal. Two minutes into the second half. It just freezes you as any goalkeeper, right? That little hop. Right before he takes it. Marley looks good. And just a second pre-season game. A lot of room for Martinelli. Miazga backtracking. Martinelli might be it. Martinelli scores! A fourth for Arsenal! They look ready to go. An impressive showing tonight in the MLS All-Star Game. To think at 15 from Norway. Real Madrid paid a little more than $4 million for Odegaard. And he struggled. Is what everyone told me. And yet at 24, he's been named captain of Arsenal. And I think Arteta has unlocked what this player right here can really do. And then it came up short. Now how do they grow from that? How do they learn from that? Marquinhos. Havertz! A fifth for Arsenal. This matches the record for goals scored by an international club opponent against the MLS All-Stars. 5-0. A show tonight from the Gunners. For the last 24 hours, Kai Havertz has been a little bit of a topic of conversation. Because in the MLS All-Star Skills Competition, he didn't hit a single goal on the crossing and finishing. And yet tonight, we saw him in the Skills Competition. Dwight. For Sassaka. It's the Toretto's. An exchange of goals in the opening 12 minutes. Good finish from Saka. But it's Christensen that makes the mistake here. Trolls it. Lets it get away from him. Saka on his weaker right foot. Just lifts it over the goalkeeper. There's the big touch. Then he can't make the challenge, because he knows he's going to get a penalty away. Saka once again. Peace! And so far, Havertz scores for the second time in this pre-season. Once again, Saka, the provider, holds off Alonso. Cross up. And he's found the angle! X-ray vision from Leandro Trossard. Arsenal in front for the first time tonight. You can talk about passing football, but what you don't see here, came from one long kick from the goalkeeper Ramsdale. Garcia didn't get a particularly good header and Trossard did the rest. He gets on it and he hits it between the legs of Koundé. Saka. Coming up for Tierney. And Tierney. It's his second. And it's number four for Arsenal. Well, it's a good switch of play. That's what Tierney loves to do. Get forward. Interested to see if he's actually picking out Trossard or just playing it into a good area. Trossard just making his run into the box. Dinelli. No doubt now. Arsenal's night at Sofi.
