What's up my dudes hello and welcome back to another video. The other day me and Holly went
on a little trip to Cornwall, skated a few parks along the way. This is basically like a vlog
journey sort of thing that I've narrated. If you want to be in for a chance to win a skateboard,
wheels, whatever it may be, don't hesitate and drop a like on the video, subscribe with
notifications on and then comment your favorite skateboard trick and that will get you entered
in this week's giveaway. Let's get into the video. So the first part of the journey was on Sunday
around 6 p.m in the evening we set sail for the shores of Reading. Reason being is that Reading
was a halfway point between Suffolk and Cornwall. Normally when we do these trips I just pick some
hella cheap hotels in between destinations as we don't really spend much time at all in the hotel
room itself and this trip was no different. However somehow we ended up in a proper swanky hotel
right next to the River Thames for absolutely dirt cheap. I believe this place set me back
around £70 and let's be honest for a hotel in today's market £70 usually gets you a tiny box
right next to these guys. So we clearly lucked out massively on this one right? After a beautiful
night's sleep we headed to the hotel restaurant for a spot of breakfast and it was banging. The
fruits and yogurt combo was absolutely killer on a stupidly hot day like today. After brekkie we
took a quick walk down to the Thames and headed to the nearest skate park. Surprise surprise it was
another absolutely awful dog turd of a park. So we have just pulled up at one of possibly the
great escape parks God himself has ever created. This thing is 100% metal which you know we love.
It's got the rough terrain which is a bit of a challenge but injuries are good for the soul and
now we're going to have a little look around. So as you can see right here we've got the metal box
jump, plenty of run up so to make sure that you can clear it, a rail that's literally flatter than
your bird's chest and then we have this little spine right here that's metal with some very
strange, it's got like a volcano coping. We've got gaps at the bottom, parts of the ramp that aren't even
finished, concrete to bridge the gap. You literally can't complain. We've got a quarter pipe that's
literally more like a 1 16th pipe, it's so small and then we got this kicker that has again plenty
of run up. All you gotta do is run from the grass, push on the grass, any real man can do that easy
right here, or woman, we're not sexist here. And then we got this rail, again if you want to hit it
from that side you got plenty of run up, not a problem. It's about, I don't know, it looks small because
I'm like 12 feet tall but this is actually a four foot tall rail, you can't really tell in the video
but yeah let's get a little session. We're now going to do a skate park review, you know how we do
that video, it's probably already live if not it's coming soon. Let's get to it. We filmed another
skate park review, had a little session and boom we were off back to the hotel. But there's one more
cheeky mission to take care of before we hit the road. Reading actually has one of the UK's only
Wendy's fast food restaurants, so you know we had to go give it a try, here's the review. First time
trying Wendy's chicken nuggets. How is she? I'm pretty average. Holly's burger review. I got the grilled
chicken burger and it added cheese to it. It's quite hot, mix a bit.
That's really good, that's really good. What do you think? That's really good, alright. I thought it was average.
Because you put barbecue sauce on it. Alright. So it's just gonna taste like barbecue sauce. Okay we'll try
the BBQ sauce. What do you think? Tastes like barbecue sauce. Tastes like barbecue sauce.
I got the spicy chicken sandwich. Oh, is it good? It's really good, yeah.
Dare I say the best fast food chicken sandwich I've had. What's your overall rank of Wendy's? I love it.
Out of 10? I'm gonna give it a generous 7.5 out of 10. We've only eaten here once, so I want to try
more of the menu to then give them a higher score.
For me, I give it an 8 out of 10. And after that it was time to hit the road. This was about 2 p.m
so we were expected to land in Cornwall around 6, but due to traffic rammed harder than the
Lego up your cousin's nose, we barely made it in time for the sunset. We made it to Cornwall.
And now we're gonna try and watch the sunset on a nice plane of grass. Which was, might I say, by far
the thing I was most looking forward to. Being as we live on the east coast of the UK, I have never
seen the sunset over the sea. And let me tell you, I thought it was absolutely gorgeous. We just spent
the next hour or so soaking in the views and enjoying the Cornish seaside. If you have never
been, I'd recommend it highly because it literally feels like you're in another country. Oh and by
the way, we actually had to pretty much climb a mountain to get to this spot, but it was totally worth it.
Almost at the peak. Holly's having a hard time, but there's not far to go. The next day after this was
Tuesday and it rained pretty heavily, but in the morning we did manage to hit a local skate park
to film some YouTube shorts and some Instagram reels. I'm sure you've seen a couple of them. If
you haven't, go follow me on Instagram. Link in the description. But the second we finished the shoot,
the heavens literally opened up on us and wet me up so much, I felt like the victim of a drill
wrapper. Honestly, at least we got our videos done this morning though. Just in time for the
trench we're down for. Oh yeah, what's up Henry? The rest of the day was just exploring really. So we're
currently sheltering from the rain with a traditional Cornish pasty. First one I've ever had.
What's your verdict? I f***ing love Cornish pasties. Sorry, that's for YouTube. I blinkin' love Cornish pasties.
You blinkin' love it. I blinkin' love them. We went to the local skate shop. If you were ever in the area, it was
called Flava and the people there were so nice. Please go say hi if you're ever about the town.
Following this, we popped into the aquarium and saw some fish. To be fair, for how small the fish house
was, they actually had a pretty nice selection of aquatic animals. Just wish we had some nice
weather so we could swim with the real fish boys. So glamorous. As the day for skating was a complete
washout, we just drove to St Ives which is a small town quite close to Newquay where we were staying
and then we explored for the rest of the day with a little bit of dinner at one of the best Indian
restaurants we have ever been to. Honestly, this food was delicious. If I could remember the name
of it, you best believe I'll be telling you but it was a busy week. I don't remember it, let's be honest.
After a good night's sleep at, might I add, quite a cute little hotel room, we started the next day by
getting some breakfast and heading to an absolute death trap of a skate park. This park ruined me
and if you would like to know why, make sure you go check out the video in the top right hand corner
or in the description but after you finish this one, don't go nowhere just yet. Now there's not
much left to say about Wednesday as the other video really does say it all but after the park
review, we drove to Bath as it was our halfway point on the way home and we got a good night's
rest after a long drive. Hotel room number three in Bath. Starting off on the final day of the trip,
we headed out to a nice little bowl in the middle of a kids park. However, because we were in the
kids park, this ramp was littered with wannabe parkour gods. Honestly, they were running up and
down the ramps for ages and telling me that I was in the way, the cheek of it, but you gotta respect
the confidence. I stacked again after filming a few videos and we went to the final destination,
the Roman Bath Houses. If you've ever been to Bath, I defo recommend checking these out as I
find the history behind them is so interesting. I won't bore you with it all in this video,
the long story short is the city of Bath is basically built on a massive volcano which is
what keeps these underground hot springs still warm to this day. I wanted to climb over the fence
and have a touch of the one that was bubbling but Holly wouldn't let me and just between me and you,
I think she snitched on security because they came and stood right next to me or maybe they
overheard me. Maybe I'm just a troublemaker, who knows? But anyway, that pretty much concludes
this trip. Honestly, I had a great time. Guys, if you want me to make more videos like this when we
go on trips in between skate park reviews and recoup the whole thing, please let me know because
I actually enjoy making them. I enjoy writing these scripts. Thank you so much for watching.
I'll see you guys in the next video. Peace!
