RATING THE BEST/WORST SKATEPARKS EP.1 (Loddon, Norfolk)

Yo, what's going on guys today? We're doing a little skatepark review. We're going to Loddon in Norfolk, and I will see you guys there We've just arrived at Loddon skatepark this place is in Norfolk, and I must say that this is just like a street plaza I absolutely love the look of this park haven't skated it in a while So we're gonna have a go on every little obstacle that they have here And then we're just gonna talk about them afterwards, and it's gonna be a great time, so let's have a skate I think we're gonna start on the mani pad. Let's go Feeling a bit tight on the old joints today, so make sure if you are get a nice stretch and prevent those injuries I Can see the money pad here is actually really fun not gonna lie although it is super, and I mean hella Slippery one wrong move, and it's game over like banana skins on Mario Kart type boot You know I mean, so basically we've got a few cracks down here at this side It is a little bit dangerous, but you know what for learning tricks Super low to the ground if anything I would prefer it to be a tiny bit higher because then you have less impact when you Land on it in a manual or whatever. Yeah, so be honest. I said the money pads actually pretty good. So we move on babes Yeah, what should we do next? What the rail yeah the one trip I can do on the rail? Let's do I think next we're gonna take it easy warm up a bit further get some flat ground tricks You know because this ground is hella smooth the one thing that this part is incredible for is the flat ground So let's do a few tricks, and then we'll try out some of these other ramps I Think they'll pull my shoulder pretty intensely and now real hurt So I think what we'll do is we'll do a little section now Of me skating all the other obstacles in the park a couple of tricks on each, and then we'll talk about it afterwards So let's go One shoe It's why we're having such a hard time landing this tre flip look No grip pissed Well, we finally got the tre flip it only took about 15 tries, but you know what it is I've got like no grip left on my shoes whatsoever So it wasn't easy that and the injured shoulder. It's not a great skate day today Sometimes it happens, but we're gonna get a few tricks on some of the other obstacles As you've just seen the hung up hard on that have a look at this My wheels landed directly in that crack when I all eat so Quality of life not so great on this obstacle. It's also like separated from here Almost as if it's gonna fall apart Well Well well well the half pipe something I'd normally love but after injury my shoulder I can't really skate it comfortably although even so this one's super steep compared to the normal one normally not a problem, but With the painful conditions right now Can't really be shedding this one too hard although the coping is kind of perfect The 50-50 grind just slid and glided all the way across well, that's pretty sick, but yeah, this is a pretty dope mini-map Sad I can't skate it properly right now over on this end of the park. We have like a six foot quarter pipe Onto like a four foot five foot rolling with the double boob right here the double boob great for generating speed Although there's like nowhere to go So if you generate all your speed going this way drop in that ramp go down here super fast You come out of there, and then there's just grass down there So you've literally got nowhere to go from here So this section not really my favorite the rest of the park is really where the money's at, but this is good Don't get me wrong, but it could be a lot better And then where do you go nowhere, that's right, you know it yeah, well anyway, this is the back end of the park So obviously all the street stuff is over there We've got the larger quarter pipe there with the rolling and whatnot this kind of park I feel like is most likely underused for example. I prefer. I don't really Skate this sort of stuff too much Especially considering the massive quarter pipe rolling quarter pipe here, and then that rolling There's nowhere to go if that had a quarter pipe to you can at least do air tricks out of it onto the flat bit But right now. It's not really doable Yeah, this side of the park kind of lets the rest of it down But let's carry on with the rest of the park, and then we'll talk about the whole thing as a whole I This ledge is probably something that I wouldn't normally skate although that slide that did slide really fun. This is a good obstacle The flat coping on top is kind of unique, and I really like it But the steepness of the ramp does make it a bit difficult to skate either way We have one more obstacle to tackle and that is right here the pyramid mani pad, let's go Well there you have it guys That was the Loddon skatepark review I'm going to talk about a bit more of this at home because the camera is literally about to die any second now Gonna film all of our b-roll get some nice slow-mo's of different parts of the park while I talk And I will see you back at home. All right. Let's go Well there you have it guys. We've just arrived back from London skatepark. I hope you've enjoyed this video so far I will say that the skatepark itself I had a great time there the only things I didn't really like about the skatepark with all the Minor cracks and stuff like that where injuries can be caused like for example You know the little pyramid gap that was there with like massive crack in the middle That was kind of a letdown and also the mani pad had a few lot cracks I feel like over time we're gonna cause some problems, but as things are at the moment I'd say definitely go there check it out It's a great part to learn some stuff on I had great fun on that little bank till we got the trace That's fakie on the flat ground there is insane the pyramid mani pad was definitely my favorite obstacle of the whole park I just wish I could have skated the halfpipe a bit more although at the moment my shoulder is healing up a bit So hopefully next time we go there We can really take advantage of that mini ramp the only part of the park that I did not like is the side at The back where they had that six foot quarter pipe that led on to the rolling and then the other quarter pipe to the rolling Where there was just that massive flat bit of concrete But I really feel like they missed the beat there Where they could have added another quarter pipe on the other side so that people could air out onto that giant flat bit But other than that I'm gonna give the skatepark as a whole a solid 7 out of 10 I definitely recommend you checking it out if you haven't already if you guys have any other skate parks in the UK that you think I should be checking out and making a review on don't hesitate to drop them in the comments So I'd love to go check them out, but either way guys We have a discord nearly 500 skaters in there now We're trying to help each other learn something new if that's something you want to get involved in hit the link in the description We'd love to have you in there, but with that being said thank you so much for watching this video Let me know if you want to see more like it, and I will see you in the next one
