Who are the Three Buddhas?
In Buddhist temples,
the statues of the Three Buddhas,
or the Three Buddhas, are often worshipped.
However, the two statues above are usually called
the Three Buddhas.
The statue of the Three Buddhas
is one of the most popular Buddhist statues in Vietnam.
However, there are still many people who do not understand clearly
who the Three Buddhas are.
Firstly, the word in the Three Statues
can be understood as time.
Therefore, the Three Buddhas
mean the Buddhas of three eras,
past, present and future.
The past Buddha symbolizes the Buddha Asita.
The present Buddha symbolizes the Buddha Thikamuni.
The future Buddha symbolizes the Buddha Jigme.
In other words,
according to this meaning,
the Three Buddhas mean infinite,
boundless, and countless Buddhas in ten directions.
In addition, the word in the Three Buddhas
can also be understood as the world.
In it, the central world is the world of Three Buddhas
which is dominated by Buddha Thikamuni.
On the left, there is the western world of Buddha Asita.
On the right, there is the world of the East,
where Buddha Jigme.
When we understand this meaning,
the Three Buddhas symbolize the infinite space of the world of Buddha Asita.
From right to left,
from east to west,
from top to bottom,
symbolizing the infinite, boundless, and countless Buddhas.
Thirdly,
in Buddhism,
Buddha Thikamuni often uses three different bodies
to transmit the Dharma,
which is called the Three Bodies,
which include the Dharma body,
the Dharma body,
and the Dharma body.
The Three Buddhas have many forms
to represent the Three Bodies of the Buddha
such as Thien Thai Tung,
Le Thi Lo Za Na Phat,
Lo Sa Na Phat,
and Buddha Thikamuni,
which represent the Dharma body,
the Dharma body,
and the Dharma body.
1. Buddha Asita
Asita is translated as the infinite light.
Therefore, Buddha Asita is called the light Buddha.
According to Buddhism,
his name means the infinite Buddha,
which means the infinite power of the Buddha,
and the infinite light,
which means the infinite light.
Buddha Asita is the master of the world in the West.
He is known through the story of Buddha Thikamuni.
It can be said that he is the Buddha of another world.
According to the sutras,
in the life of Buddha Thikamuni,
he introduced the Buddha Asita
and the water pot that he gave to his disciples.
According to the Asita Sutra,
in some previous lives,
he was the son of King Thika,
the king of the water,
the son of King Nguyen Luong Luan,
and the empress Thu Thang Dieu Nhan.
In the present time,
there is Buddha Asita,
who is the emperor of the kingdom
like Lai Giang Sinh,
the savior of all beings.
When he heard that there was Buddha Asita,
he left the palace
and asked to be released.
Buddha Asita accepted
and gave him the money,
which means he gave the money.
In front of Buddha Asita,
he made 48 wishes
to invite all beings.
If any of his wishes were not fulfilled,
he would not become a Buddha.
2. Buddha Thika Moni
Buddha Thika Moni
is the center of the statue,
the symbol of the present time,
or the symbol of the world.
He is the master of the world
to educate all beings.
He is revered as Buddha Asita like Lai,
Buddha Da,
or Buddha Asita.
According to Buddhist documents,
Buddha Thika Moni
is the master of the world.
He was completely enlightened,
and was proven to be a Buddha
in April 588 BC.
He was the master of the world,
and saw the future of himself,
of all beings,
and the formation and destruction of the world.
He knew that he would not be reborn again,
and he escaped from the law of reincarnation.
According to Buddhist documents,
he appeared in this world
for the 8th time.
Before becoming a Buddha,
he was the son of King Sakya,
the son of Buddha Thika Moni,
named Tathagata.
He was foretold that
he would become a great benefactor,
and was foretold that
he would leave the world
after seeing an old man,
a sick man,
a dead body,
and a salmon.
For the son not to go to the world,
King Suddhodana
gave the crown prince all the precious flowers,
not touching the misery of life.
However,
when he walked through the four gates,
he saw four images,
including a weak old man,
a sick man,
a monk,
and a dead body.
He decided to leave his miserable life
to go to his homeland
to find the island.
He was the one who discovered
and started the journey to the Middle Way,
the Middle Way,
instead of torturing the suffering
like the same monks.
Buddha Thika Moni used his 49 years
to never stop thinking
to let the sentient beings know the truth
of the human life.
Maybe one day, he would break the Mekong Dome.
According to the Pali scriptures,
Buddha Thika Moni
was 80 years old.
In the rainy season of his 80th year,
he predicted that he would pass away
after three months.
Nowadays,
the image of Buddha Thika Moni is often seen
with a big moustache
or a curly hair,
a beard on the top of his head,
and his eyes are open three-quarters.
He wore a coat over his neck
or a cassock,
without a word in front of his chest.
Buddha Thika sat on a lotus pool,
his arms were short on his thighs,
and he often recited mantras,
recited the Phabluon mantra,
or recited the Diamond Sutra.
3. Buddha Jinlak
According to the documents recorded,
in Sanskrit,
Buddha Jinlak is Maitreya,
which means the Buddha,
which includes the word in the word of the mind,
the word Bhi, He, Sa,
and the Buddha in the Buddha.
They are able to make the Buddha
not to break the world.
According to the Buddhist scriptures,
he was one of the disciples of Buddha Thika,
and would be the Buddha successor of Buddha Thika Moni.
According to the Buddhist scriptures,
Buddha Jinlak would appear on the earth,
he would be completely enlightened,
become a Buddha,
teach the Dharma,
and become a Buddha.
He is now one of the four disciples of Buddha
who are in the same heaven.
When the world ends the 9th cycle,
and the 10th cycle begins,
he will incarnate in the house of a Brahmin.
In India, Buddha Jinlak is described as
one of the powerful princes,
wearing the clothes of the Indian king.
Meanwhile, in China and Vietnam,
he is known for his chubby body,
wearing a scarf on his shoulder,
wearing a loose-fitting shirt.
Wherever he goes,
people give him whatever he asks for.
When he meets the children,
he gives them everything.
He lives a very free life,
he can live wherever he wants,
he can sleep wherever he wants.
There are also adults who do not complain or scold him,
or even pour water on his face,
but he is still calm and free,
always with a smile on his face.
What does the Three-Buddha Statue mean?
The Three-Buddha Statue is a statue
with three identical statues,
which is placed in the position of sitting in meditation.
The Three-Buddha Statue has a profound meaning.
You are the Buddhas who have wisdom,
high morality,
and have used wisdom to save sentient beings,
to lead people through the sea of suffering.
In the process of salvation,
although you have gone through many hardships,
and many difficult challenges,
you still have a good heart.
According to the Eastern culture,
the meaning of the Three-Buddha Statue
can be understood as the following.
This is a statue of the virtues of the Buddhas
in many spaces and times,
reminding us to appreciate the present life,
to live so that after looking back at the past,
they are all precious days,
and also need to be happy,
optimistic,
and look forward to a beautiful future.
When we are sincere,
devoted,
and look at the statues every day,
we will learn how to keep calm,
get out of trouble,
find the truth of life,
generate kindness,
eliminate delusions,
and make unworthy memories.
From there, we will find true happiness
to live a peaceful and happier life.
When praying the Three-Buddha Statue,
we also need to pay attention to the following things.
We should place the Three-Buddha Statue
in the direction of the main door of the house.
This will be better for those who are in the family.
Do not place the Buddha Statue
in the back,
opposite the kitchen door,
toilet,
or bathroom,
under the stairs,
because those places contain a lot of bad air
that is not suitable for praying.
Especially, the Buddha Statue must be firm,
always clean and bright.
The Buddha Statue must be placed high,
not placed on the ceiling,
because it will be a crime.
Do not place the Three-Buddha Statue with the Buddha,
because the Buddha has a higher rank than the Buddha.
Before praying the Three-Buddha Statue,
we need to wash our body cleanly
so that our body will not get dirty during the ceremony.
When praying, we must kneel down,
raise our hands up,
as if we are lifting the Buddha's feet,
and bend our knees to press our palms together.
After that, stand up straight,
listen to the chanting.
Hold your hands in front of your chest,
look into the Buddha's eyes,
always think about your good deeds,
sincerely pray for good things,
then go home,
light incense in the incense burner,
use the bell and the Three-Buddha Statue.
When praying the Three-Buddha Statue,
we should not use the speaker,
because it is not sincere.
So, the ceremony will have the opposite result,
which is still a crime if we are not sincere.
On the Buddha Statue,
the ritual should only use flowers and fruits.
The fruit is placed on a special plate
on the Buddha Statue to be offered.
The ritual should be done every day,
so that the family members can eat it,
or others can eat it.
It should not be thrown away.
On the Buddha Statue,
the offering should not be salty or yellow,
because the Buddha is a vegetarian,
so the offerings should be in pairs.
If the owner does not have the conditions,
please forgive me.
The flowers and fruits should also be fresh,
the quality is important,
not the quantity.
When arranging the fruits,
put a leaf on top,
avoid turning the leaf upside down.
The plate should be placed on the left side of the Buddha Statue.
The above may not be true,
but I hope that
it is also one of the things
that we cultivate our mind
