Kids' Science Club Visits Penguins!

Now here's a question. Who likes science? I know I sure do. Today we're visiting a group of kids in Argentina who are in a science club, but it's not just any science club because this science club comes to the beach and they come to visit my friends behind me. Can you see them? Penguins. Penguins live in the southern hemisphere, which is the bottom half of the earth, usually in places where the ocean is very cold. It's true that penguins are birds, but they can't fly. They walk and waddle around and have flappers instead of wings. They live on land and ice, but they're excellent swimmers too, so they spend plenty of time in the water. Like other birds, penguins are cold-blooded and lay eggs in their nests. They can protect their nests so that their eggs and babies stay safe and warm.
