I'm Masaki Kawashima, a navigator from Musubi University, and I'm here to talk about Japan.
Today, I'm joined by Yosuke Hamasaki, a literary critic.
Thank you for joining us.
Thank you for having me.
In your book, Hamasaki-san, you call Japan a modern Japan of vague anxiety.
The subtitle is The Real Reason for the Great East Asian War.
I'm sure many people, regardless of their generation, feel that Japan today is shrouded in vague anxiety.
The root of this is that we no longer know who we are, or what Japanese people are.
The cause of self-loss has been analyzed in great detail here.
Today, I'd like to talk about that in depth.
Thank you for having me.
The Real Reason for the Great East Asian War
I have the impression that many of the people who have read your book have reacted to the concept of internal and external accidents.
I'd like to talk about that today.
The difference between internal and external accidents is that there are two main points.
One is that there was a person who talked about the modern Japanese history based on internal and external accidents.
He was Kishida Shu, who wrote Monogusa Seishin Bunseki.
He was the first person to use this concept.
In addition, the concept of Kishida Shu is not like that.
Actually, there is a source.
This is R.D. Lane, a British psychiatrist.
He was the first person to use the concept of internal and external accidents to analyze humans.
For example, Lane, who has been studying people who have mental disorders, is aware of one thing.
To put it simply, children who grow up in a family that is abused have the opportunity to cause it.
The reason why it was abused.
The reason why abuse is a problem.
I think there are various types of abuse.
There is ignorance.
There is also physical punishment.
The more fundamental thing is to match my values.
The values of the parents.
In addition, the values of the parents are the values that the parents have a relative belief in.
It's very simple.
For example, you have to go to a good university medical school.
There are many.
There was a murder case before, right?
There was.
It's that kind of thing.
For example, when a child is happy, it's not that it's cute to show a happy smile.
You can't show such an honest face.
Killing your honesty is an important case for survival.
It's the beginning of asking for the color of your parents' faces.
When you ask for the color of your parents' faces, children kill their honest hearts.
Even if you want to do something, you can't do it.
Even if you don't want to do something, you have to do your best.
At first glance, you are very serious at school.
You are evaluated for good things, but you are very depressed inside.
Then you put on a mask.
The problem is that when you are in puberty, your internal organs start to tingle.
The external circumstances, the mask, and the flow of life that is honest are cut off and separated at first.
This is the original form of the book R.D. Lane.
R.D. Lane is drawing a picture there.
Can I use it?
Yes, please.
R.D. Lane is also drawing a picture, and I'm going to draw a picture of me putting my hand in it.
First of all, I want you to think about a circle.
Please think of this as yourself.
It's me.
It's me, but when I was a baby, I was called Jitami.
I'm the only one.
That's right.
I'm the only one, so if you want me to change my name, I'll cry.
If you want me to kiss you, I'll cry.
But when you're two or three years old, you'll be able to remove your name.
When you're two or three years old, you'll be able to remove your name.
Or simply put, mothers will sometimes lose their children.
When you're alone, you'll feel anxious.
You may not be able to cry.
In other words, you may not be able to do something, or you may not be able to do something.
There's something that comes into you at this point.
Oh, I see.
I see.
As you said, as a whole or as a nature, I think faith is also involved here.
In the old days, the feeling that you were not alone was like, for example, the temple was watching you, or thanks to someone.
I don't know who you are, but you got it, didn't you?
But in today's education, we don't teach thanks, and we don't teach the feeling that the temple is watching.
And somehow, in the relationship with people around me,
I don't even feel like the world is watching me as a human being.
How can I put it?
For example, the feeling that heaven is watching.
I think it's thanks to the fact that I got my child's life from the earth.
But I think it's pretty fundamental that all the people in heaven and earth have been taken away.
So I think it's a big challenge how to convey that part.
Mr. Kawashima was watching the master and the master was watching him.
As I said last time, the words that the master said at that time were words that I remember very well.
It's up to you whether you believe it or not.
However, it is often said that it is because someone is watching.
Well, you have no choice but to believe that.
For example, you put out your wallet and pay something in your pocket money where no one is watching.
In a short-term span, it's like a stupid rational or rational story.
You're losing money.
That's the only thing.
That's right.
It's not that I want something, but I should do it.
Or when I thought that doing so would lead to his joy, I would take it out and do anything.
I don't know what will happen when I take it out, but when I do it, someone is watching.
It doesn't matter if God is watching or Mr. Otento is watching.
If you don't have that kind of feeling, it's going to depend on whether you're going to be stepped on or not.
The words that the master said at that time may have been that the master was watching,
but if you can connect to the fact that Mr. Otento is watching in such a concrete situation,
I think it's a big part of what people can support.
Speaking of the master, I think you talked about it last time on our brother's shrine channel.
I was talking about it, and I thought,
Oh, I see. That's the kind of root he came from.
I feel like that's the most trustworthy point.
It's not about whether you want to benefit or survive in this world,
but it's about what you have to leave behind and what you have inherited.
It's the same in my own life.
At that time, I didn't even know why I was going to college.
My parents and society taught me to get into a good company or go to a good university.
I had a lot of doubts about whether that was really the right thing to do.
But when I went to Mr. Step Up, the college entrance exam school where I met the master,
there was a pamphlet about the school.
It said, Have you ever thought about what people work for in the first place?
What is it? To go to a good university? What is it for the future?
But if you don't have a deep understanding of it,
unfortunately, no matter how much you study, you won't get the hang of it.
If you just pass the exam, you may be threatened.
Rather than that, it was written in the pamphlet that I wanted to learn this.
It was the moment when something internal came out of me for the first time.
I think I was very lucky to have met such a being.
But if you don't create such opportunities and opportunities, the world will just keep on piling up.
No, that's really true.
As I said earlier, it takes time.
Because it's one by one.
You do this little by little, right?
As far as you can.
You have no choice but to do it, and you've changed that way.
And there's another thing.
I have a feeling that it's quite different just to be alone.
Just being alone.
For example, to put it simply,
I'll stop because it's a bit of a thing to say about myself.
Mr. Satoshi Fujii,
I have an editor in charge.
He was opposed to Osaka and Kosovo.
At that time, Mr. Fujii cut the line.
Even now, if Satoshi Fujii wasn't there,
Osaka and Kosovo may have passed through.
That means,
It may be a bit of an exaggeration to say,
There is a possibility that Satoshi Fujii alone can stop Osaka and Kosovo.
I see.
This is amazing.
First of all, it's amazing that it's one by one.
So, on the contrary,
It's the same thing that the history of 2,000 years will change just because one person comes out.
In fact, education is amazing.
It's about whether or not one person can come out.
If one person comes out, it will change completely.
And that one person is not an ability.
It changes dramatically when there is a context and it exists.
That's why there are people who create and raise such people.
So it's not a story that doesn't have that much hope.
It's a curse, but it creates hope.
I think that's what we can do.
That's very important.
Looking at the current situation in Japan,
There are many people who want to change.
At that time, what should I do to change this world?
I need more power.
I need more money.
I need to gather more people.
So, in the end, how do you get on the road?
You're trying to do it here.
You're trying to match the effects.
And then you're going to the world without knowing it.
That's what you're saying.
It seems like it's a coincidence that there's only one person who's got hope.
But I think that's where the power that's actually changed the world is.
That's right. Because people can change.
That's for sure.
Jesus Christ didn't write a book.
Socrates didn't write a book.
The Apostles didn't write a book.
But all the disciples did.
Even so, Jesus Christ is a twelve-apostle.
The Buddha was also a ten-year-old disciple.
I'm sure the only person who really wanted to educate him for the rest of his life was a handful of people.
That's for sure.
That's the only thing you can do.
I think that's what you're saying.
The funny thing is, I feel like I'm going to get it there.
When I met the master, I sometimes wonder what joy it was.
The important thing is that I'm definitely happy.
About a third or half of my head is really scared.
Half of it is like, it's not good.
It's like, my life is going to collapse.
In a sense, I feel like I'm going to lose myself, who had been kept by someone's evaluation, until then.
That's right.
I'm not going to be able to mount knowledge, and I'm not going to have a social team.
I'm not going to lie in front of this person.
I'm scared.
I don't know if it's a half or a third, but that's how happy my brain is.
This feeling of joy is probably when I'm in a relationship with him.
When I'm in a relationship with him, my ability is going up without waiting.
This way of going up is actually related to academics.
It makes you look better.
For example, when I'm studying, when I'm studying for an exam,
the reason why it's so boring is because it doesn't work at all.
No matter how much you do, you just know the details.
You gain knowledge, but you don't feel like you're looking better.
The problem is that when you have multiple points of view without contradicting the internal circumstances,
the way you see society changes.
That's right.
At that time, you can see the external things, the relationship with society, and the sense of distance in yourself.
At that time, you're not finally trapped in society, but you're free from society while looking at society.
That feeling is academic.
It's not about improving your processing ability.
It's about finding different ways to improve your processing ability.
Or it's about realizing that there are multiple ways.
At that time, when you think, oh, this is how society works, you can finally see where you stand in society.
That was a great sense of freedom.
I think I've learned that studying makes you free since college.
In a sense, it's because you have this axis in you that you can learn a lot of things, but you can't swallow it.
That's right.
The ability to think outside the box and the ability to process inside the box are completely different.
I've heard that a lot.
There are a lot of people who go to college just by processing inside the box, and then there are a lot of people who destroy it.
The reason is that the rules from college change.
The language game has completely changed.
The people who can think outside the box are strong after college.
That's why they don't realize that there's a game change or a rule change going on.
The problem is that even though there should be a game change or a rule change going on,
there are a lot of people who say, oh, this is what the world is like.
That's why Japan is falling apart.
That's all I can think of.
As I was talking about earlier, I was told that it's difficult to make a disciple.
On the other hand, I was talking about the fact that there aren't many people who are trying to make a disciple while being a college teacher.
There's no such thing.
But I think it's very important to have a target that you can learn from other than your parents or people you have an external relationship with.
In other words, it's an existence that you can admire at the bottom of your heart.
I have a faint hope that those people will be the driving force that will change the world.
In that sense, we are in various companies, including Musubi University,
restaurants, colleges, and universities.
I think you can feel the nature of each of them.
In other words, you can feel yourself as a whole.
For example, in terms of food, it's easy to understand.
Nowadays, if you go to a supermarket, you can buy anything, and if you go to a convenience store, you can eat anything.
But who makes that food? Where does it come from?
If you look at it, it's finally reaching tens of thousands of people.
And no matter how advanced human science is, we can't make a single carrot.
So if you eat while feeling that, I think it will be an opportunity for you to overcome your inner self beyond words.
To be honest, if you can properly listen to your body, you can live with that.
At that time, you can say, are you really happy?
I think it's important to build up what you're happy about there.
Look at the cause and effect calmly and put words on it.
That should change your way of life a lot.
In other words, you shouldn't be a stranger, you should be free.
After all, if you are swallowed up by the values of the current world,
no matter how passionate you are, you will convey something.
Even if you don't have to deal with people, technology will do it for you.
That's how you live.
In the old days, for example, there was a conversation with a deliveryman who came to deliver goods.
It's on the Internet to buy things, and it's delivered without knowing it.
In short, if you have money, you can get rid of everything.
So it's very important to live without losing sight of that hope.
In fact, Mr. Hamasaki invited us as a guest.
I've been talking to him on the Jinja Channel and Musubi University.
I think what Mr. Hamasaki has been saying lately is that he sees the present era and the past.
Our activities are completely different from what we do.
We do it in various genres, such as cooking.
It's a completely different genre, but it's a pleasure to meet colleagues who are trying to face the world with the same eyes.
That's what I felt.
I hope to see you again on this channel.
It's a very hopeful story.
It's a world where the number of people in the world is increasing, especially on the Internet.
In the end, it's about leaving the vibration that comes from your inner self to the person in front of you.
It's a conviction that it's going to stay in the world.
It's very important to get it.
If it's gone, you'll lose to the emptiness of having done so much.
I'd like to continue to fight that.
This time, we had Mr. Yosuke Hamasaki come to us.
It was Musubi University that made Japan cool.
Doctors don't want you to know anything.
If it's about yourself.
I'm separating that, too.
That's right.
I think that's why people are interested in speech and getting older.
I was wondering why you weren't doing it when you were young.
To be honest, it's a little late.
