Original Video:
Several subscribers requested a follow up video to show how the wall is holding up. This video was shot 16 months after the initial install. I will be cleaning and staining the wall as soon as the weather cooperates. Let me know if you have any questions.

Welcome back guys, it's the Tightwad, and a lot of you have asked for a follow-up video
on the retaining wall build that I did, so I'm going to give you a little bit closer
look of it here.
You can see the top board is a little bit grayed and weathered.
This is after about 16 months of installation, but the bottom boards look brand new still.
There's a little bit of a gap between the top and bottom board, which was expected with
the shrinkage that's coming, but everything still looks pretty good.
There's some staining on the top board here just from where the pine straw laid on it.
I'm going to knock that off with a pressure washer and some of the RestoraDec cleaner,
and you can see that it's held up really well for a year without a ton of direct sun.
Pretty good amount of shade in this area.
So this is the follow-up video.
I am going to stain it soon.
I'm waiting on some dry days to be put together so that I can clean it and stain it using
the RestoraDec system all in one day to have a new stain that is a wet-on-wet application
so you can clean, brighten, and stain, and then apply a second coat all in the same day.
