And I just remember being in this beautiful place of peace, no fear, no pain, no worry,
no anxieties.
And I just remember feeling totally surrendered in this.
It was like a God presence.
Thank you for having me, Salem.
It's an honor and a privilege.
My background, I suppose growing up in rural Ireland, going back into the 50s, dare I say
50s, giving away my age now, there was a lot of wonderful psychic people and my grandmother
was one of them.
My grandmother was very gifted and very psychic.
So for me, I saw spirit guides, I communed with angels, but going to school then I realized
not everybody was looking.
I could see angels, I could speak with them, I could see orbs of light, I could play in
the fields and I would play with the fairies, you know, and the salamanders in the fields.
But I mean, even some of my own siblings would say, don't mind her, she's mad, right?
So in going, and then at around 15 years of age, I had a most incredible spiritual experience.
My real first spiritual experience was when I was 15 and it happened in an old grotto
besides the school I attended and every morning of my life, I went into this grotto to pray.
And there was a beautiful statue of Mother Mary and I have huge devotion.
I have her there beside us this morning and she, the statue disappeared into the background
and she appeared in front of this statue and it was the most beautiful experience.
And she had her hands joined.
She was beautiful and she turned her head and she smiled at me and I ran, I ran out
of the place, terrified, right?
Fast forward then years, and I was always very in tune with words, with people.
I could know something was going to happen, but instead of tuning into my creative right
brain and imagination and creation, I went on and I studied science and I became a serologist.
And then I got married and that time in Ireland, you had to more or less leave your position.
And unfortunately for me, it was not a happy match.
And then in 2000, no, 1992, I was diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer and the body,
the body tells the story, Salim.
It's like when we are unhappy ourselves, they contract and the life force, the chi,
the positive chi can't flow through the cells, can't flow through the bloodstream.
And we get, we become ill.
When there's disharmony in our lives, we get dis-ease and that is what happened to me.
And that time in Ireland, Salim, you couldn't talk about an unhappy marriage or being in a
violent relationship because you made your bed, you had to lie in it, right?
And so I was very proud and just put up and shut up.
But then in 1992, as I said, I was diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer.
And like that, I was scheduled for surgery and they told me how severe it was.
And that is then when I had my near death experience.
And for me, I mean, I went, I signed away, you know, you sign your consent forms,
you do everything.
I've already been pre-warned about how advanced the cancer is.
And I went down to theatre, quite happy.
And you know, Salim, the ironic thing about it for me was I did not mind I was told I had cancer
because to me, that was my escape to freedom.
I did not care.
Yeah, I did not care if I died because you couldn't tell somebody I'm unhappy.
I'm living in this dreadful marriage.
That's anything but love.
And I could tell nobody.
Now there are so many support systems out there.
You can make a call, you can call a friend.
There is no taboo about it.
But going back in Ireland in those times, in the 70s, you made your bed, you lay on it.
And that was it.
What went on behind closed doors was no concern to nobody.
And to me, I didn't get excited about being told I had cancer.
I was, OK, now he'll have to leave me alone.
And the ironic thing about it, I was married to a policeman with huge rank.
And the fact that he was a law enforcing officer, he told me nobody would ever believe me.
So that compounded and restricted me from doing anything about it.
So being in an operating room and, you know, having three small kids at home,
it was like a reprieve, a reprieve for me.
So when I was in theatre, I was through going halfway apparently through the surgery.
And all of a sudden, I see myself and I have risen from my body.
And I'm up here and I'm looking down and I say, gosh, that looks like me.
It was me on the bed below.
And I can see all this panic and fuss, crash cart being brought in,
doctors trying to resuscitate me, bleepers going.
And I'm up here floating above my bed.
And I'm saying, it's I'm OK.
I don't you're OK.
Don't be panicking.
I'm fine.
And then with that, I remember just being sucked, totally sucked.
And I describe it as a whirlpool that just caught my essence and pulled me
into a vortex and out into the universe.
And I just remember being in this beautiful place of peace.
No fear, no pain, no worry, no anxieties.
And I just remember feeling totally surrendered in this.
It was like a God presence.
I felt I was in the womb of creation and I was being rocked and cradled and imbued with love.
So much love that I hadn't received for so long.
And then I could hear the most beautiful music.
The music was so soothing and calm.
And then I was being pulled further into this amazing light.
It was like a white golden light.
And I was still being cradled in it.
I was to me, I was like in the womb of creation and I was being rocked and soothed
and blessed and calmed by God.
I know now it was God.
And then there was this hand, this massive hand comes out in front of me like a stop sign.
And like, stop, you can't go any further.
And I remember feeling so sad.
And before I had time to say, but I want to stay.
I was being pulled.
I could feel myself being pulled and catapulted back into my body.
And the next thing I hear, I hear them saying, she's back.
We have her back.
And a few days later, the surgeon came and he said to me, you know, Marielle, he said,
you're one lucky lady.
And I said, why?
And he said, well, he said, you were dead.
You were gone.
And he said, somebody must have been minding you or watching you from a higher power, he
said, because he said, you came back.
And I said, why did you bring me back?
I said, I was quite happy where I was.
Right.
So I suppose for me that in the I never spoke about it to anybody.
Only about four people knew in 1992 about my near death experience.
And I was on a panel of guests last year with
the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre in Scotland, where they're hugely into psychic development
and spiritual awakening.
And one of the most renowned doctors and experts in NDE, Dr.
Peter Fenwick, was on the panel.
And I said to him, you know, why do the callers in near death experience?
Because I was like others.
I was I was pronounced dead.
All my neural signs had stopped.
There was no heartbeat.
There was no pulse.
There was no activity.
I was pronounced actually dead.
So I said, why are they calling it a near death experience?
And he said, well, my dear, he said, we have gained so much medical ground, he said, in
the last hundred years medically that now we are we have the equipment and the ability
to resuscitate and bring people back.
And then that led on to our huge discussion where all people who have had NDEs, there
is so many commonalities and similarities, like even children.
Children have had their NDEs and they still and they're innocent.
Their minds are not impregnated with kind of societal norms or it's not impregnated
with maybe something they might have heard or seen.
They're innocent.
And they describe leaving the body.
They describe going across and meeting a loved one or a grandparent or Jesus.
A lot of the children apparently meet Jesus, according to all the research.
They meet the walk with Jesus on the other side.
And some of them, you know, don't want to come back.
And the only reason the research has shown that why children want to come back, they
don't want to upset mommy or they don't want to upset daddy.
They don't want to be missed.
Yeah, that's the only reason they say they want to come back.
They don't want to upset mom or dad.
So all these commonalities are there is all these commonalities.
And then if it's not your time, like with me and many others, if it's not your time,
somebody, something will stop you.
There may be a bridge between you.
You could be on one side of the bridge.
I could be the other.
And somebody or something would say, no, not your time.
You need to go back.
You have work to do.
So all these doctors now and many of the doctors as well, ceiling like Dr.
Ivan Alexander, you may have heard of him.
He was a famous neuroscientist in America.
And he a neurosurgeon, should I say?
And he had his own death experience.
And so profound was his journey on the other side.
So profound.
And he believed in nothing.
Many of the doctors who have had near death experiences up until then, they believed in
absolutely nothing, only data, what was quantifiable and analyzable and what could be
written down as data, solid proof and data.
But his experience on the other side, after he had severe meningitis, he
found it so, so empowering that he felt he had to put his name on the line and be open
to ridicule by saying there is an afterlife.
You know, I saw my sister, a sister that he didn't even know existed because he had
been adopted.
And he has written an amazing book called Proof of Heaven, which is profound.
It's amazing.
Right.
There is other doctors like Dr.
Raymond Moody in the 70s.
He any of his patients selling were like I had the near death experience on the table
and they would come back and they say, I heard what you were saying.
I heard that, you know, you were playing a certain music.
I heard what was happening in the corridors.
I heard my family crying in the corridors.
So they they were going to say, but they were dead.
So there has to be something.
So what they've come up with now is that consciousness survives.
There is a supreme consciousness that survives beyond the brain and beyond the human body.
And not alone has that been proven time and time again.
And there is another wonderful doctor called Dr.
Pim van Lommel.
He is a Dutch cardiologist and he has researched near death experiences with his patients for
over 40, 40 years.
And all he firmly believes now he has written many papers on that.
There is there is life beyond the physical death of the body,
beyond the physical cessation of functions of the brain and the heart.
And he said that this supreme consciousness overlights all of us.
And going back then to just to keep it tied in, there is a wonderful report
called The Galileo Report, which was written by the Medical and Spiritual Network in 2019,
where 90 of the world's most renowned physicists and doctors came together and they
authoritatively agreed that there is a supreme consciousness within the universe and that our
brains, our human brains act as transmitters and receivers of this information.
And that's what drives our intuition.
That's what drives our inspirations.
That's what drives our knowledge and wisdoms.
So all of these, shall we say, wonderful phenomena are all being fact finders,
based as fact finders now.
But not alone that.
There was a doctor before that, Professor Ian Stevenson, in the 50s, who had,
oh, he spent years and years on proof of afterlife through children that had reincarnated.
And you'd probably be very interested in this, Selim.
Children who had reincarnated soon.
Like, how long is it before you reincarnate again?
Is it 10 years?
Is it 100 years?
Is it 1,000 years?
But these children came back with actual birthmarks and birth defects from their previous lifetime.
And they had vivid recall of how they died, when they died, who their family was,
who their siblings were, where they lived.
And all of these children, nearly 3,000 of them that was in his research,
all of them have been validated by facts, by, say, birth charts,
by maps that was in the area at the time.
There was no Mr. Google that time.
So all of the research had to be backed up by maps and by history.
And all of it has concurred exactly as fact with these children.
So and then there was Elizabeth Gubler-Ross in the 60s.
You may have heard of her.
She was an amazing lady.
And she sat with the dying.
And she used to see that there was another world, like I do when I'm sitting with the dying,
in my work as a spirit midwife.
It's there is a beautiful sacredness when you're in that holding space
with someone that's about to transition.
And going back to Elizabeth Gubler-Ross, she put her neck on the line that time as well.
And they said she was crazy.
Most of her medical faculty went against her and said that she was off the wall to say
that life, there was a life beyond your physical death.
So she went on and she wrote Life After Death.
And then Raymond Moody came in in the 70s, mid-70s.
And he was the first one to scientifically prove that there is life after death
through the near-death experiences.
And so it has advanced since.
And then there was Dr. Brian Wells, who you'd probably love, who studied.
He was a famous, what was he?
He was a psychiatrist in some part of America.
And like Dr. Ivan Alexander, he only believed in facts and statistics, nothing else.
There was no room for, there may be something out there, there definitely is.
No, didn't believe in anything.
Only what you could factually place as evidence, raw evidence, proof of everything.
So this beautiful girl was presented from age 27.
Her name was Catherine.
And Catherine had a huge problem with swallowing medication.
And she had been to every doctor.
She had had every scan.
She had everything.
Nobody could find anything really wrong with her.
So their last effort was to send her to Dr. Brian Wells.
And he was a past-life regression therapist.
He was doing, sorry, he was doing hypnosis.
He's since become a past-life regression therapist, but he was doing hypnosis on her
to discover she started talking about when she lived before, the different terrains,
the different worlds, the different, she was male in this life, she was female in this life.
And he thought she was just, she had some form of mental disorder to discover that
when she imparted something very secretive and very precious about his life, there,
nobody knew, but his wife and himself.
It was only then he began to realize, how could she know that?
Nobody knows this.
But that was the key that activated his enthusiasm to say, well, there must be something.
And then she would talk about different lands in different countries that she lived in
and what happened at that time.
And as I said, there was no Google that time.
So he had to validate the dates in history through the old history books.
And everything she spoke about was fact.
So powerful was her engagement with Dr. Brian Wess that he wrote his first book,
Many Lives, Many Masters.
And then he wrote another book, Many Lives, One Soul.
So it's an amazing journey.
So it is.
So then, as I said, there's so much solid information out there.
And look at we talk about the soul.
And that's very important as well.
Say sailing to to say people identify with our body.
We identify ourselves with this body.
The body is an empty vessel without the soul.
The soul is the essence of who we are.
And it carries with it.
It's all the lifetimes we've had.
It carries all the imprints into this lifetime.
All the journeys we've had.
And the soul is something no more than the Indies.
The Indies are not a new phenomena because Indies have been recorded
and documented for thousands and thousands of years.
And the first known recording goes back to the Greek philosopher Plato.
And then we have Socrates and we have Aristotle.
And they all talk about the soul.
Later in time, we had Swedenborg and we had Descartes.
And they all believe that the soul one thing they agreed on.
They had different interpretations of where the soul resided in the body
and what happened to the soul when it dies or when the physical body dies.
But one thing they actually agreed on was that the soul
was the most divine and intelligent part of the human psyche.
So even going back all those centuries, all those all those ancient times
and like Indies are very privy to what I'm being reminded to actually see
is Indies that they have no religion.
They have no gender.
They have no age.
They have no creed.
They have no dogma.
Indies can happen to anybody,
irregardless of religious belief, irregardless of age or gender.
Would you agree with that?
Yeah, I totally agree.
Yeah.
So, I mean, people find it hard to believe that a child could have an Indie.
And a child is, you know, as I said, they're uncontaminated.
They're pure light.
And so the Indies and the Indies lead on then to kind of
the soul and what is the soul and where is it?
And but I find I've run many classes and many workshops on the soul.
But in my quest as to why did I live?
Why did I survive?
And I had to I became a sponge.
I had to learn more and I had to find out, you know, I became a shaman.
I studied the American Indian ways.
Beautiful.
They have beautiful wisdoms.
I studied IET, integrative energy therapy, Reiki and crystal healing, angel healing.
And I was always looking and searching and then eventually, you know,
being happy with the knowing that there is so many people that survive for a reason.
And my God purpose, as I call it now, is working with the dying to demystify the fear of dying
because so many people are terrified of dying.
Even, you know, Salem, there was I had a night class at one of the stages and,
you know, it was connecting with loved ones in spirit world.
It's a beautiful program that I have been guided to run.
And I am everyone was so afraid of dying, but I don't want to die.
Why do some die young?
And why I explain there is that from my understanding from the spirit world,
when people when young pass on very quickly and suddenly or through accident or through
and sudden death, their their soul contract with the earth and with those people that they chose
as their mother and their father and their siblings, their soul contract is complete.
The same way when somebody miscarries and bless anybody who has miscarried when when the miscarry
their soul only needed a small time to touch the earth plane to complete their sacred contract.
And when that happens, they choose very carefully who the in particular the mother is.
The soul always chooses its parents.
It chooses its environment.
It chooses its place of origin where to be birthed.
And when somebody loses a baby through miscarriage, that's all the soul needed
to touch the earth plane for a brief moment in time.
And then it's so important to to say from what I have been shown that those beautiful little souls
that have been miscarried, they actually grow on the other side.
They are attended to by spirit midwives until the birthing age would have been on earth,
say, nine months.
And they are spiritually assisted by spirit midwives.
And then they are birthed on the other side.
And those children never leave you.
They're in our energy.
I lost a little girl myself.
And she's always there.
She's always in my energy.
I see her growing up on the other side.
And she is guiding not not just me, but she she guides my my son, my daughters,
my grandchildren even now, you know.
So it's a very comforting.
And it's funny saying while I'm talking to you, I'm just being guided.
I'm not sure why, but there's always a reason that people who may have lost somebody through
suicide and I'm not sure where you come from, how suicide is treated.
But in Ireland, going back many years, it was deemed as wrong and it was evil and that it
was a passport to hell, whereas I am reassured and know from what I and the communication
I've had from those that have lost their life through suicide.
And the work I do with suicide, with the aftermath of suicide, and I want to reassure
anybody who may have lost somebody through suicide to know that it's never, never the
fault of the person who has ended their life.
And it's never the fault of anybody else either.
It's it's other factors, society, it's sexual orientation, it's financial pressure, it's
education.
It is all of these contribute to an unhappy soul on this earth plane.
And if somebody chooses and exits, I'm not endorsing it, but if somebody exits through
suicide, that person is not condemned to this hell and brimfire.
That person is held and brought to the other side.
And what happens then?
Because I've been shown this.
What happens then?
They are placed in a beautiful resting zone and they are cocooned and they're bathed in
love, blessings and healing and spiritual orientation.
Then they are gradually when they've rested, when the soul has rested, then they are awakened
to the reality that their life has ended and then the process of spiritual
counseling starts then.
So it's just important to reassure anybody who has lost a loved one that way, that they
are held safe and sacred and they are loved and they do come back again.
They read, they choose many of them reincarnate to choose to come back again to and this time
be stronger in mind and body and spirit and that they will be able to address.
They'll be stronger to address.
They'll be presented with the same challenges through different people, but they'll be
stronger to master at this time.
I suppose it took me after my NDE, it was something I kept very secretive because I
felt I didn't know that there was like, I didn't know that people had NDEs.
I didn't know what an NDE was and it was only later when they told me that I was dead and
that was an NDE.
And I, I suppose I wanted to go back, which is another story.
I, three months later, I wanted to end my life.
So I know the trauma because the pain was too much.
I was in that beautiful place, that womb of creation.
I was all, I was at one with this God essence and then coming back to normal life was very
difficult and it was hard to survive the same kind of lifestyle, you know, being intimidated,
being abused and it was hard.
So I, I intended to end it, but like that divine intervention, my father intervened
then, which is another fabulous story, but it's only later on I realized it was when
my brother passed away.
It was then I decided what am I doing with my life?
I'm in a corporate world.
I'm working for multinational companies and I'm not happy.
So it was when he passed away and had preempted his own death within two weeks of it happening.
He, um, I started, I left my corporate, I left my secure job.
I left my bonuses, my company car, my company phone.
And I started out with nothing, but I started to learn.
I started to study.
I started to meet the most amazing people.
And then I realized I needed to work with energy.
I needed to work with healing modalities.
And a lot of my work now is soul retrieval and working with the dying.
And I'm no longer hiding that, that I'm, you know, once I would hide rather than say, well,
I'm able to work with the dying.
I'm able to hand them over across the video to the other side.
I'm able to see what's wrong, what trauma the soul has been through and we can release it.
So it's now I'm fine tuning my gifts and I'm old enough not to care what anybody thinks.
