My name is Sandra Strassl, I'm from Heiberg ab der Donau.
My label is SaaFashionKids.
I'm a tailor for baby and children's fashion and I do it with passion.
I really wanted to do the Schneider Academy because I wanted to develop myself.
I didn't want to stay on a certain label, but to develop myself.
I wanted to learn new things.
I wanted to learn how to sew in a zipper, which I often didn't need,
but I wanted to know how to do it.
It turned out great that I applied to the Schneider Academy.
I had no doubts about whether I should apply or not.
There used to be a great video where you could download it for free.
I thought I'd give it a try.
I sewed my first skirt myself, with color processing.
I was thrilled with the first projects that were created.
Since I've been doing the Schneider Academy, I feel safer.
No matter what project I'm working on, I feel safe.
I know how to approach projects.
I definitely brought more accuracy into all my projects.
All the successes that I had after the Schneider Academy were great.
I also had to separate again during the course.
There was a lot going on.
I was already in there a lot and I thought,
wow, that's a lot of glass and a lot of clean knitting.
I turned the blouse and saw that I had knitted the lining on the outside and not on the inside.
Learning by doing, I separated everything again.
It was still a beautiful blouse.
The Schneider Academy convinced me right after the first online spots.
I thought I'd give it a try.
There's a money-back guarantee if I don't like it.
I had nothing to lose.
My former self would say,
it's cool that you've accepted it.
It's cool that you've decided that you want to develop it further.
And that you're going the exact same way.
What I'm really proud of is the jacket from unit 14.
You have to be very careful and watch out for the interior design.
It's really very cool from the interior design.
It's a lot of work, but it's a wonderful result.
The seam is knitted by hand.
It's not a bit taut.
I have all the seams.
The lining is also inside with sewn seams.
It makes a difference.
It's not glass when you hang up the jacket.
You have a really nice interior design.
What I also like is the bustier.
It's made of romanit jersey.
Back with zipper design.
Now I'm wearing the pants from Waterloo.
It's one of my favorite pants at the moment.
