Today we're making overnight oats with berries.
Welcome back to Tamara's Kitchen where you come along for the journey to watch me be a mom
who can cook to a mom who can cook. I love saying that. Overnight oats. That's what we're going to
be doing today and overnight oats have been, I mean, something that I have been seeing for years.
If you're a mom on the go, a parent on the go, or just a person on the go early in the morning,
this is something that is definitely going to be for you. It's very healthy. There's so many
different options you can do and it's yummy. So here we go. You're going to need one cup of
Quaker oats, half a cup of Greek yogurt, half a cup of your milk of choice. I love oat milk.
I know it's oats on oats. I just love oats. It just makes it a little bit more creamy.
But you can use anything. Regular milk, 2% milk, almond milk, soy milk, your choice.
One tablespoon of honey, one teaspoon of cinnamon, and your berries of choice. Alright,
and you can do, I mean, you could just dump everything in if you'd like. You can make it
look a little bit more pretty like a strawberry. I always say like a strawberry shortcake.
You can layer it. Anything you want. So here we go. Let's start with our oats.
Trying to be like all clean. Whatever. It's whatever. Then I'm going to add some blueberries
top. Make it really pretty. Okay, then I am going to add some more oats.
I said we're layering this here.
You know, on Tamara's Kitchen there's always going to be something happening.
And then let's add some strawberries. Okay, a little bit more oats. Look how pretty this is.
See all the colors like just peep through. This is so pretty. Now I'm going to add my milk.
Let's add our Greek yogurt.
Let's add our almonds.
Then our honey. Honey. Slow as molasses. No, it's not molasses. It's honey.
I thought it was funny. It's probably not. Okay, so we're going to add our honey in there.
Get in there. Alright, then we're going to add our cinnamon.
And you can add as much as you like, more, whatever. I'm going to make sure the
yogurt and the milk really gets it. Oh my gosh. You guys, this smells so divine.
Alright, and the coolest thing about this, you literally...
Mmm.
You literally put the chop on it. How pretty, right? Put this in the refrigerator
overnight. In the morning, you've got overnight oats.
Hey guys. Sleep is great, right? It was great. I'm wearing the exact same thing
I wore yesterday. No, for the sake of TV, we just did this yesterday. So
you've got your oats. Look at this. It is absolutely perfect. We're going to add more berries,
blueberries to it. Do you want fresher ones? Then you sprinkle some...
Look how amazing. Perfect. And if you're on the go, you could just eat it out of the jar.
Like, you guys, this recipe is so freaking good. This is so good and guilt-free. Enjoy.
Thank you for coming along for the journey. Oh my gosh, this is so good. Oh my gosh.
I'm not just saying that, you guys. Trust me on this. It's pretty freaking good.
