Hi, how do you say, how do you say hi and like mean it?
Hi, okay, wait, I got it, I got it.
Hi, I'm just yelling and screaming at people.
Hi, why can't I get past hello?
What about just like a toothless smile?
Hi, my name is Jonathan, this is Noodle,
this is Noodle's sort of like a diagonal profile.
I'm gonna tell you about my purple drink
before I talk about anything else.
My manager, Stacy, who has failed me on so many occasions
has finally made me a cocktail
and she put purple stuff in it, in gin,
and that's kind of what it tastes like.
It tastes sort of like purple flowers in gin.
So it's a favorite cocktail of mine,
I'm calling it Violet Nonsense, and it's delicious.
You see no wine in a mug today
because this is our September box.
And for those of you who don't know,
a bar box is a monthly subscription service
of toys, treats, and chews that come to your door
to delight your dog.
The theme this month is Bark University.
So we are, this box is all about the best,
do you think he's part iguana?
So the first thing you're gonna see
when you open your bark box is this.
And I got a letter from Bella Adetenderloin,
the Dean of Admissions.
Dear pup, congratulations.
On behalf of our students, senior dog professors,
and very busy janitors,
I'm proud to inform you that you have been accepted
to Bark University.
And then there's a lot more that happens on this,
but essentially we've accepted your dog to Bark University.
I have to burp, I'm so sorry.
We look forward to smelling you on campus.
Aw, we do.
Could you imagine if you went to college
and your first thing was just like.
And then you get this, which I love.
So this is your course catalog,
but we're calling it a dogalog.
It'll tell you everything you need to know
about what comes in your bark box.
And then it has instructions
for what we want you to do this month.
So we have our syllabus right here.
And you have different classes
that you can sign your dog up for.
So what we want you to do is we want you to fill this out,
but more importantly, we want you to fill this out correctly.
So we have little signs up here to let you know
if you fill out your bubble sort of a half moon
or sort of like a little cross,
like it's not gonna count
when you put it through the Scantron machine.
You have a goop.
Let me get this goop.
That's disgusting.
It's so gross.
Who wants it?
So we want you to sign up for three classes.
So for example, I would sign Noodle up
for performing arts, poetry,
and then as an extrafurricular,
I would sign him up for self-defense.
So now we're gonna pull out the insert paper
that you get in your bark box.
So here's a map of Bark University.
On the back, we have your, it's a pennant.
It's called a pennant.
So here's your pennant that you feel free
to hang it above your mantle.
And then this is your map of Bark University.
So I don't know if you can see it.
I am sure struggling to.
We have, it looks almost like a Greek campus, right?
We've got what looks like beautiful Coliseum-like buildings.
Ooh, Canis Bibliotheca.
That means dog library.
So the first toy we've got in our bark box is Papa Noodle.
So this is very familiar, I'm sure, to some of you,
especially who went through those dismal,
poor freshman years,
where you would heat up a throwaway cup of noodles.
So it's a Pup Noodles.
What's great about this toy is it's got a
squeaker, squeaker in it.
So the next toy that we're gonna talk about
is a small backpack.
So what I love about this backpack,
aside from the fact that it's a very complimentary color
to what we're going with right now,
is that it does have squeakers in it.
It's got some crinkle on the back of it.
And these are made of ballistic nylon.
So once again, if your dog likes to pull on something
and they like to thrash,
this is the kind of toy for them.
What's this?
There's a thing in here.
Wait, there's a, no, there's a,
there's a crinkle thing and then there's a thing in here.
Wait, this is something that you have to
rip open the toy to get.
Oh my God.
There's a lot of mystery in this bag.
And I'm gonna put it on Noodle's,
Noodle back right now.
He's on his way to class.
What does this remind you of?
College.
Ding, ding, ding.
So you have three faces here that come in this toy
and I'm gonna show you their faces right now.
This is Tim.
This face right here is Tim.
And Tim's a nice guy from Massachusetts
who is a very kind and has a good head on his shoulders
and is always looking to help out,
but has no idea what's in store for him
when he's a freshman year of college.
This is Katie.
Katie's a mess and Katie shouldn't have gone to university.
Katie should have stayed home.
She should have done one year at a community college
and figured out what she wanted to do with her life.
Instead, she threw herself into the ringer
and look what happened to her.
And this is Allie.
Allie looks like she's got,
it looks like she's got one sort of drifting eye
and she's crying out of the other.
So Allie has problems that supersede college
and I recommend you see a doctor.
And they all fit perfectly in this cup.
Wait, hold on.
All right, go ahead.
So this is the throw the ball in the cup trick.
That was mostly me.
That was you.
Katie.
This is intramurals.
You do this for fun.
Oh!
So this is called frat house lambda strips.
These are grain-free treats for dogs,
but it's made with real pork liver and lamb.
So noodle, let's show everyone your tricks.
Are you ready?
Paw.
Oh!
So one thing about Party Tricks 101 that I will tell you.
Text, text frito.
Text frito to 79987 to learn a cheesy new party trick.
It says on the back of these,
college is hard, burritos are not.
Which when we're talking about, I suppose, textures, right?
It's very hard to compare a burrito
to a higher four-year education.
There are Party Tricks 101.
Noodle has not texted any number, but that is all right.
This is a lamb jerky treat.
Real slow cooked lamb.
Great treat and training tool.
No wheat, corn, nitrates, or soy.
Oh, it's got, wait, there's two in here.
Wait, this is.
So my name is Jonathan.
This is Noodle.
That was our September Bark Box.
Thank you so much for watching.
Please click the link in the copy of this video.
I'm pointing up because the copy will be above this video.
That's why I'm doing this,
unless you're watching it on YouTube, in which case.
This month, we are doing this big contest
where if you upload your unboxing video,
a video of your dog unboxing their Bark Box,
the best one that the entire company agrees on,
that person is gonna get a year's worth of Bark Box.
Thank you so much for watching.
We'll be back for October, which will probably be spooky.
