Hello everyone, welcome to the history of the Uyghur Khan
Ancient scholars were called shi
Qianmu once said that shi was the center of Chinese society
It should have the highest ideal of life
It should be able to bear the greatest responsibility of the nation
More importantly, it should be able to have a religious spirit in their inner cultivation
He also said that the mainland intellectuals should bear the greatest responsibility
It can be seen from this that the moral and responsibility of the intellectual world in Qianmu's heart should support the future of a country
Unfortunately, the intellectuals of today have long lost this responsibility and spirit
Under the Chinese Communist Party, there is bitterness
At the beginning of the Chinese Communist Party, Mao Zedong wanted to bribe and bribe
Cultural names used for it, such as Huxi, Fuxilian, etc.
To see through the nature of the Chinese Communist Party and not be disturbed
Huxi went to the United States, Fuxilian went to Taiwan
Mao Zedong's friendship with China is undeniable
So on August 14, 1949, he published a commentary
The topic was,
Abandon your fantasies and prepare for a struggle
He named Huxi, Fuxilian, and Qianmu
He said they were the accomplices of imperialism
We have introduced Huxi and Fuxilian before
Today I will introduce the famous historian Qianmu
Qianmu's original name is Qian Yinhuang
Born on July 30, 1895 in Qifengqiao, Moshe, Gansu
He entered private school at the age of 7
He dropped out of revolutionary school when he was in middle school
He dropped out of school and studied at home
Later, he went to a rural primary school to teach
Yu Yingshi said in Qianmu's article in Jingdao
In 1910, Lan Qichao published
The Hope of the Future of China and the Responsibility of the People
Qianmu was deeply influenced
But he did not follow the path of political salvation like most young people
Instead, he turned to historical research
He hoped to use historical research
to find evidence that China would not perish
He had a deep interest in the field of history
He and Chen Renkong, Lui Simin, and Chen Huan
were known as the four great historians of the modern era
Qianmu was 33 years old in 1927
During his time in Suzhou, he wrote The Theory of Science
and began to write The Theory of the Progenitor
Historian Gu Jigang
After reading his book The Theory of the Progenitor
recommended him to go to Zhongshan University to teach
But Qianmu was unable to go
In 1935, The Theory of the Progenitor was published
After reading it, Chen Renkong commented
After Wang Zheng'an, I have never seen such a work
Wang Zheng'an is Wang Guowei
At the age of 36, Qianmu read Gu Jigang's manuscript
and praised Liu Xiangyin and Fu Zilianpo
The article was published and the academic world was immediately shaken
Gu Jigang therefore recommended him to be a professor at Yanjing University
After that, Qianmu went to the History Department of Peking University
to study the ancient history of China and the history of the Han Dynasty
Later, he opened a Chinese political system history
and a Chinese history
His lectures were popular and well-received
He later taught at Peking University, Tsinghua University, Yanjing University
and Peking Normal University
During his time in Peking, Peking University, Tsinghua and other universities
moved to Yunnan and became the Queen of the Southwest
Qianmu wrote The Theory of the Progenitor
This is the most famous work of Qianmu's life
It received the appreciation of Chiang Kai-shek
In 1942, Chiang Kai-shek met with Qianmu
Qianmu refused
In the following year, Chiang Kai-shek met with him again
Their thoughts were very similar
Later, Qianmu was once again invited by Chiang Kai-shek to Chongqing
to give a speech for the Kuomintang Central Training Corps
During that time, he arranged every meal for Qianmu
Chiang Kai-shek also had to taste it personally to see if it was to his liking
Chiang Kai-shek also asked Qianmu to be responsible for
Songyuan Mingqing學案簡篇中
a part of the Qing Dynasty
In April 1949
the Chinese army crossed the Tianqian River
and stopped in Guangnan
Many intellectuals were faced with the same fate
At that time, Qianmu had just arrived at Guangzhou Huaqiao University
and hadn't been in office for long
Huaqiao University was preparing to move to Hong Kong
Qianmu knew very well
that the Marxist class struggle that the Chinese Communist Party advocated
was in contrast to his own traditional values
At that time, Qian Jicheng, who studied classical literature
asked Qianmu to stay
Qianmu asked him
if he had studied classical literature
to look at the article on the army crossing the Tianqian River
and whether it was a big deal
Qian Jicheng said
that the article was written by Mao Zedong
Qianmu read from the article
The Colourful China
The artist chose Huaqiao University to move to Hong Kong
and his wife and five children
stayed in mainland China
Qian Jibo stayed
and the manuscript he had worked so hard on
was destroyed during the movement
and was eventually killed
His son's family was also persecuted
Before Qianmu left mainland China
he had visited Chen Renkong at Lingnan University
and invited him to teach in Hong Kong
But Chen Renkong refused
Later, he went to invite Hong Shilek
Hong Shilek also refused to leave
Qianmu wrote a letter to Liang Xiaoming in Chongqing
but received no reply
He went to Zhongshan University to look for Yang Shudat
Yang Shudat also refused to leave
Chen Renkong was beaten up
with a sword
His family was exiled
All of his books and calligraphy
were sealed
The manuscript was stolen
and eventually killed
He was seriously ill
Chen Renkong was in a state of panic
until the end of his life
Hong Shilek was forced to leave
Liang Xiaoming was sent to search the streets and toilets
The intellectuals who stayed in mainland China were not well-off
After Qianmu studied in Hong Kong
he became more and more influential
In the early 1950s
the Chinese Communist Party sent Qianmu's teacher, Lui Simin
and his nephew, Qian Weichang
to write to him and persuade him to return to mainland China
Qianmu replied
he saw that Feng Youlan and Zhu Guangqian
were intellectuals
who wanted to change their way of thinking
and were forced to write self-censorship reviews
If they did so
they were like walking dead
They lost their dignity
They would not be able to do it
Qianmu, who claimed to be a deserter
saw a lot of deserters in Hong Kong
who had nowhere to go
So he had the idea of founding a university
He said
I think I am a person who is engaged in education
How could I bear to see them lose their education?
At the same time, I also think
this is the only right path for me to take
Although he did not have any control
he still believed
this was the right thing to do
He and Che Youwei
Tang Kunyi
Cui Shuqin and other scholars
met in Kowloon
Che used the three classrooms in Huanan Middle School
to set up the Asian Literary Academy
He was the principal
The school was open at night and closed at night
In the autumn of 1950
Wang Okfung, a businessman from Shanghai
bought Kowloon Newspaper
No. 61-65 Guilin Street
to make a new school
The Asian Literary Academy
was renamed the New Asia Library
and renamed it to the Japanese Academy
Qianmu openly praised literature in the school
The library was founded in the autumn of 1949
At the time, the Communist Party
deliberately destroyed the Chinese culture
The Asian Literary Academy
wanted to promote Chinese culture
as the highest principle of education
Today, in the face of democracy
and extreme power struggle
Chinese youth should have
the right knowledge in their minds
to avoid being misled
Not only would it harm their own future
but also harm the nation
and world peace
At the time, the school budget was very tight
The school was closed at night
Almost all of the students
were homeless young people from the mainland
Many stayed on the rooftop of the school
on the stairs
Qianmu first worked in a school building
and then moved to a residential area
and then moved to a remote village to rent a house
She took the bus and train every day
She was so tired
There were less than 100 students in the school
and the monthly budget was more than HK$3,000
The school was funded by the Hengde Foundation for four years
After that, the school received
the support of the U.S. government
After hard work
the New Asia Academy became bigger and bigger
Qianmu also founded the New Asia Research Institute
and trained many talents
In 1963, the New Asia Academy
and the Songji Academy and the United Academy
were combined into a university
At the age of 68
Qianmu was named
the Hong Kong Chinese University
This is the first Chinese university
in Hong Kong
In 1966, the Cultural Revolution began
and the Chinese schools in mainland China
were all shut down
According to Qianmu's wife, Hu Meiqi
Qianmu traveled day and night
to and fro in the corridor
and did not speak
It lasted for a month or two
One day, Qianmu suddenly said
she wanted to write a book
to teach the Chinese people to read
In this way, even if there is no teacher or course in the future
it can also be used to
open a door to the Chinese people
who are still silent
to rescue the crisis of the traditional cultural break
In 1967, Qianmu settled in Taipei
to express her respect for Qianmu
When Chiang Kai-shek met Qianmu
he suddenly put on a long-sleeved shirt
Because since Qianmu
saw Chen Yankuo in Yantai
he also changed his long-sleeved shirt
and has been wearing a long-sleeved shirt all the way
Chiang Kai-shek's father and son
have also praised Qianmu
Qianmu was elected to the Central Institute of Research in Taiwan
and later became the professor of the Chinese Cultural Academy
History Research Institute
and the researcher of the Palace Museum
In the 1940s
in order to usurp power
under the banner of democracy
the CCP published a book called The Poison of Communism
At that time, many young people were blinded by the CCP
and read so-called advanced books
and regarded Chinese traditional culture as a waste of time
When Qianmu spread Chinese traditional culture
abroad at Tsongpan University
her third son, Qianxun
worked at Tsinghua's Hong Kong stage
as a teacher for more than 20 years
Professor of Biological Physics
and History of Biological Physics
Qianmu's second son, Qianxun, said
Before 1949
I didn't seem to have read any of my father's books
When I was in high school
my father came back once
and saw a letter from Qianxun
from the Soviet Embassy
asking for your age to choose
He had gathered us together
to teach
but we didn't accept it
In fact, the young students at that time
were almost as enthusiastic as the Red Guards
Qianmu advised her son to read Zeng Guofan's books
and not to read Marxist books
Don't fall for and believe those things
Unfortunately, the children didn't listen
After arriving in Hong Kong
she was sent to traditional culture
and family
Thinking of her children in mainland China
she couldn't help but shed tears
Her anti-communist stance
had also affected her children's work and life
In 1950
Qianmu wrote a letter to her three children in mainland China
hoping they would come to Hong Kong to study
At the time, Mao Zedong said he was an anti-nationalist
and the CCP's Hou Shih-ma said he was a traitor
The public opinion was affected
Her three brothers thought her father was not patriotic
At the time, her 18-year-old second son Qian Heng
even sent Mao's newspaper articles to Qianmu
In 1958
Qianmu's eldest son Qian Jue
received a letter from her father
The letter said
the People's Commissariat was so noisy
and had to pretend to be a public dining hall
and made a mess of their own
to scare the public dining hall
Isn't that a mess?
Qian Heng was later exiled
Her daughter Qian Yi
was also exiled to Guangxi
to open a farm
In order to avoid being implicated
Qianmu and her children
lost contact with each other
Until 1981
when her children reunited with their father
Qianmu was already 85 years old
Qian Heng was exiled
when she was still living in Hong Kong
and had the opportunity to return to the city
When Qian Xun read the letter to her father
she was almost 50 years old
At the time, she had to
and felt ashamed
When Qian Heng was 70 years old
she was already unrecognizable
The French said on her father's behalf
that the thousands of years in China
were all about feudalism and dictatorship
It was what Mr. Qian opposed the most
Having an emperor does not mean dictatorship
On the contrary, not having an emperor
does not mean there is no dictatorship
After Qianmu's death
Mrs. Hu Meiqi
publically published an article
saying that when she met her children
Qian Mu had been waiting for her children
to apologize to her
or to explain to her
why her children
treated her father
with such a revolutionary attitude
But Qian Mu did not wait
Her heart was hard to express
Qian Mu wrote a book
with more than 17 million words
She said
I have written the book
and put it there
It will be useful in the future
Because in her view
the CCP has the world
which means
the end of thousands of years of Chinese culture
and one day
her book will become
a teaching material for restoring traditional culture
In 1957
Qian Mu published
A History of Truths and Killing
saying that Mao Zedong
had purged China's history and China's people
Could it be that China's history and China's people
did not purge Mao Zedong?
He also said
to kill people
to kill more people
is not a historical truth
If killing becomes a historical truth
there will be no humanity in the world
and there will be no history in the world
Use objective statistics
to check the history of the past
to kill people
to kill more people
China has been in the past
and will be in the future
Now the world is like the Great Wall
There is no need for other measures
Who are the people who have killed more people?
Have they not been purged
before and after their deaths?
In 1969
Qian Mu gave a speech
to the military officials
He said
At this moment
the Communist Party of China is in full swing
At most
it will be a
bloody march
The Communist Party of China
is like a big rock
rolling down from a very high mountain
The closer it collapses
the more powerful it becomes
The three-sided red flag is more terrifying
The Red Guards Cultural Revolution is more terrifying
There are even more terrifying things below
Our Communist Party of China
is suffering
However
in the end, it will come to an end
In 1986
Qian Mu in his article
The New Spring History Bureau
still denies the Chinese People's Republic
because this national symbol
means that from now on
China will not be led by the Chinese
but by non-Chinese
like Mayan leaders
He said
this national symbol
is incompatible with communism
and cannot be discussed on the same page
In late years
he has been well-known
for his wife's help in writing
In the Manchurian Manchu
Qian Mu still
criticizes Marx's theories
Qian Mu's greatest wish
was to bring all of his works
back to the mainland
But before his death
he opposed the mainland
using simplified self-published works
and opposed the revision
of his works
Qian Mu's last handwriting is
The contribution of Chinese culture
to the future of mankind
It is a gift from heaven
In 1986
Qian Mu's last lesson
to his students was
You are Chinese
Do not forget China
The China in Qian Mu's heart
is the one with a history of 5,000 years
a bright and prosperous traditional China
not the Communist China of Marxism-Leninism
In August 30, 1990
Qian Mu passed away
at the age of 96
At the time of his last lesson
it was found that
Qian Mu had no money
only a pair of glasses
and two crutches
OK
That's all for today's story
about Qian Mu
Thank you
See you next time
