Hello, welcome everyone to the Dek Wat Channel.
Today, I would like to take you on a trip to Yai Chai Mongkol Temple,
Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, to pay homage to the holy monks and take you to see the atmosphere inside the temple.
Before watching the clip, please like and share to support the team.
Yai Chai Mongkol Temple is located at Klong Suan Phru, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
It is an ancient temple with a historical significance.
The original name is Wat Pa Kaew, built in the early Ayutthaya period,
in the reign of King Rama I or King Uthong, the founder of Ayutthaya.
The first place I would like to take you to is the Vihara of the Buddha.
Inside the Vihara is the place where the Buddha, or the laypeople,
were built during the reign of King Somdet Phra Naresuan Maharaj,
to be a place of worship and meditation practice.
The next place is King Somdet Phra Naresuan Maharaj.
King Somdet Phra Naresuan Maharaj is a place where laypeople come to meditate regularly.
The next place is Chedi Chai Mongkol.
It is said that this Chedi was built during the reign of King Somdet Phra Naresuan Maharaj
to be a symbol of the victory and prosperity of the Thai King over those soldiers.
Inside is the place of worship.
The next place is Phra Ubo Sot.
This Phra Ubo Sot was built during the reign of King Uthong
to be a place of worship and meditation practice.
Inside the Phra Ubo Sot, there are many important Buddha statues.
The most important is the Phra Prathan,
which is a prominent Buddha statue.
It is the Buddha statue of Prangmanvichai or Prang Sadungman.
The Phra Phrak and Phra Worakai are green in color.
They are made of sandstone all the time.
The one that is Jeevorn is decorated with gold-plated glass.
The one that is not Jeevorn is decorated with beautiful sandstone.
And this is the most important place in Chedi Chai Mongkol,
the temple where laypeople come to worship.
It is believed that anyone who feels discouraged,
lost, or hopeless,
coming to worship the sacred things and visiting Chedi at this temple
will help us get through those difficulties beautifully.
It also helps to increase energy and encouragement
to make us ready to get up and fight the problem.
