The Minister of Law, Justice and Security of Mahfud MD sent three letters of request for permission to President Joko Widodo.
The three letters were received directly by the Minister of State Secretary Pratikno at the Ministry of State Secretary Jakarta on October 18.
Through the explanation of the coordinator of the President's Special Staff, Ari Dwi Payana.
The three letters of Mahfud filled with a request to face the President and reported his candidacy as a press reader.
The letter of request for approval from the President to advance in the 2024 press election and a letter of leave on October 19 to register for the General Election Commission.
Ari said that the President has also given instructions to Mensesnek to agree to the three letters of Mahfud.

The first agreement is related to the request for approval to be nominated by the political party and the coalition of political parties as a press reporter.
And the second is a letter of approval for a one-day leave.
Mensesnek Pratikno has processed the agreement administratively from President Joko Widodo and has sent it to Mahfud MD through the KPU and Bawaslu.
