What's up everybody? Today I have a real special treat for you.
Now, good vegan ramen is very hard to find and it's even more difficult to make at home.
Behind me is Red White. It's an all-vegan ramen restaurant here on Newberry Street in Boston.
Now, in there is Chef K, who's been making ramen for over 15 years in Japan.
Now, he came here to make all-vegan ramen, and today he's going to give us his recipe.
Let's go.
Hi, I'm K.
The ingredients for the broth are onion, red pepper, celery, shiitake mushrooms, porcini mushrooms, and kelp.
We use a total of 20 kinds of vegetables.
We boil them for over 8 hours to get the most flavor out of them.
First, we make our own soy cream and sesame paste.
After that, we add garlic oil.
Finally, we add the broth and mix it well.
Now, the soup is ready.
We adjust the temperature of the water to make sure the broth is thick.
Then, we mix the ramen with the soup.
Then, we top it off with spinach, mushrooms, vegan meat, tofu, corn, and alfalfa.
Thank you for watching.
Please come try my ramen at Red White in Boston.
