Are you alright?
I guess that's right. Back charging definitely.
People deluded, I'm back again.
Come on, Ian.
And with the big man saying that, what more can I say?
People deluded, I'm back again.
It's Chelsea against Arsenal on the weekend.
I had to get a Chelsea fan in so we could speak about such.
How are you doing, my friend?
I hope you're well and safe, man.
Not too bad, brother. How are you?
Thank you for having me on.
We've been planning this for a while.
I appreciate you.
Pardon me?
We've been planning this for a while.
Like, we've spoken about doing it.
And it's always, one of us is busy.
So it's good, man.
It's good to be on.
Looking forward to it.
Exactly. You took the words out of my mouth.
That's exactly what I was going to say.
Something that's needed to happen for a while.
Fortunately, everything has now fallen into place.
So, yeah, man.
Obviously, I know about your content.
I know about the team you support.
But for someone seeing you for the first time,
you know, what sort of content do you make?
Again, people, make sure you're subscribing.
The link will be in the title.
Don't be lazy, folks.
I appreciate it.
Guys, I make Chelsea football-related content in it.
So, transfer rumours regarding Chelsea post-match reactions.
I'll say the truth.
I'm not planning to work for Chelsea Football Club anytime soon.
And I don't think they'll hire me because I speak my mind.
So, if you really want somebody that speaks their mind,
is open and honest about what happened in the game,
come to the Kafka's View.
I started on TikTok now talking about everything.
Arsenal fans don't like me for some reason.
I don't know why, but we'll get into that.
The TV support's a clue, man.
But like you said, make sure you follow them.
And I'm a big fan.
That's why I like your content because I'm not a fan of people that,
you know, do the over-positive thing or the over-negative thing.
You're quite balanced.
If there's reasons to be excited, there's reasons to be excited.
If there's reasons to be negative, naturally so.
So, I've got a lot of time for you.
But you set this up perfectly
because I actually have one of your tweets.
And I saw it and it kind of guides well into what we're going to speak about.
What's your thoughts on everything in relation to Chelsea-Arsenal?
As you've said here,
this Chelsea-Arsenal game feels massive.
A victory sends a statement that the top four should remain the main goal.
A defeat or a draw just brings more questions than answers.
Pochettino needs to step up, show me something.
Fantastic opportunity to outcoach Arteta.
Yeah, man.
What do you make of that?
It's your tweet, isn't it?
I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Bro, I grew up…
So, I'm of a certain age and I'm 27.
I grew up with us whooping Arsenal.
It was normal.
Didier Drogba, Emirates was his home.
After Stamford Bridge, it was normal for me…
Yeah, I mean, you were playing little kids then times.
But yeah, mate, you're right.
Yeah, it was normal.
No, you're right. Big up Drogba.
But now, I hate playing you lot.
I genuinely hate playing Arsenal.
Because it's a lose-lose.
We were the better team.
But you lot, for some reason, last three seasons,
just have beaten us since Baku.
But now, this is Poch's opportunity.
Because I'm not going to say I'm Poch's biggest fan.
I never was eager on him.
But I give opportunities to gaffers.
19 games to prove me right.
I'm a Roman baby, innit?
Roman Abramovich, kid.
You've got 19 games, halfway point.
He needs to outcoach Arteta and get us a statement victory.
Liverpool was a good statement that bought him time for me.
A 1-1 draw in a game where we were the better team.
And we went away with, oh, that feels like a win.
Reasons to be optimistic.
Yeah, we had a bumpy journey where, you know what?
New signings, OK, cool.
You've got 19 games.
And this is where you make a statement.
Three wins in a row.
Let's get the fourth one over a big team.
And then we move on.
What do you make of Pochettino?
Because I'm happy you actually said that in your tweet.
Because obviously, you know, there's been a lot of turmoil.
And a lot of turnovers at Chelsea.
So there's a lot of luxuries, naturally, you could give the manager
because of what you're doing.
But away from that, obviously, regardless of who's there,
the manager's got to manage.
So what have you made of him from a tactical point of view and everything else?
Poch is a weird one, man.
Poch is excellent at making the players love him.
And I like that because we needed some feel-good factor.
But feel-good factor gets you a certain way.
I need a gaffer like Thomas Tuchel where things are going wrong.
He got it wrong in the beginning.
He can adjust.
And I've been really, like, keeping an eye on that.
The West Ham game, I feel like he didn't adjust when things turned.
When Antonio made it 2-1, it was gung-ho.
The Nottingham Forest game, we dominated.
But he just let the team, once we went back, he didn't adjust.
Against Brighton was the first time where I sat back and I said,
you know what?
Well done, Poch.
Yeah, in the cup.
He did something right here where you didn't panic.
The team responded to you after halftime as well.
And we came out and were the better team against a good manager.
So I'm not going to be too harsh because I don't think he's a Chelsea-caliber manager.
I'll be honest.
Is that because of the Spurs history and whatnot?
No, it's the PSG history.
And I don't mind him at Spurs.
I don't expect him to do anything at Spurs.
But I saw what Tuchel did.
You and me both, mate.
Yeah, like, I saw what Tuchel did at PSG.
And Tuchel got them to a final of the Champions League.
Record number of goals here and there.
Under Poch, Donnie had Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar behind.
You're not creating chances.
How does that work?
There's a certain level of approach I want to see.
But so far, under eight games, I'm very likely you've got 11 games left.
And then I'll make a definitive opinion.
Fair enough.
Obviously, I don't watch Chelsea week in, week out.
Obviously, we've got you at the weekend.
What can we expect from a Chelsea perspective?
How do you lot set up?
Is it a thing where Pochettino is very flexible, one minute three at the back,
then four at the back?
What's your strengths and weaknesses?
What is it from a tactical point of view?
We're going to respect you.
I think the way you've got your recent success against us has been very much,
we'll have the ball, you'll break on us.
And teams love to do that against us.
But I think in this game, you're going to have possession of the ball.
Because Chelsea will take a draw right now.
I promise you.
If Poch can get a 0-0 draw, we'll take it.
But that will suit us.
Because on the break, I think with Raheem Sterling, with Jackson,
who I think is just, he's active.
Decent player.
Very ruleable.
Very decent forward.
Very good player.
And on his day, he's going to bang goals.
I know he's the butt of the joke at the moment with how he can't finish.
But young players are purple patch players, right?
He's going to have eight games where he's going to have Lukaku numbers,
where he's going to look unbelievable.
And then he's going to go through eight games where he's shaky.
So, for me, we're going to let you have the ball.
We're going to be compact with Caicedo and Gallagher and Enzo.
But then Enzo's going to be spraying those Diags like he's a quarterback.
And the midfield battle, I know it's cliche.
Like, oh, you've got to win the midfield battle.
Oh, I've said that a number of times, mate.
It really is cliche.
But it's the age I'm saying.
It's fact.
Like, I'm praying Kai Havert starts in that midfield three.
Like, I'm literally praying.
Like, I like Kai as a player.
But in a midfield three with Odegaard and Rice, I think we can get the better of it.
If Partey starts with Rice and Odegaard,
I think that's going to be a little bit of a problem, purely based on the fact.
Like, Caicedo and Enzo are travelling back.
They're saying jet lag.
I'm going to say, forget your jet lag.
You're playing.
Like, no jet lag.
It's a big game.
They need to play.
I'm with you on that.
You made a great point about jet lag, because that's us with Partey.
Obviously, I don't know.
Well, I don't know geographically how far Garner is in South America.
South America is probably a bit further.
But, you know, Partey's gone.
He's played 45 minutes.
And the Garner manager was speaking about that.
That's where I don't know.
Because if it was up to me and we disregard all of that sort of stuff,
for me, you've got Odegaard in the 10, Partey and Rice side by side.
But if Partey doesn't play, as you rightly said,
it could be a game for Kai Havert, rightly or wrongly.
There's a bit of, you know, your ex-player, your ex-club and things like that.
I do wonder, does Mikel Arteta go with Jorginho?
Kind of the same logic, to a degree, with Havert and the City game.
So it's a bit political.
But I agree with you.
If I was Chelsea, I'm going, obviously, Kai Havert's going to cost a lot of money.
He's going to play. Enzo's a good player and cost a lot of money.
He's going to play.
I do think you need to put Colin Gallagher in.
I know he's not exactly every Chelsea fan, sorry, cup of tea.
But I think you need a workhorse like him.
And I think he's done well.
End of the day, you look like you was on the door out.
And now you're the club captain, allegedly, or you're captain in the club.
So you're doing all right.
I think what it comes down to is that, you know,
obviously we're a lot ahead of our project.
We're a bit more of a fluid side.
And we've got to take our chances.
I do share your thoughts about Raheem Sterling on the left-hand side.
That's probably, well, probably the right part.
In the channels, I think that's a key battle.
But I think it comes down to who takes their chances.
You lot are anything but clinical.
I know we've scored a lot of goals, but I still think our chance creation
and chance conversion is lacking.
And as much as Arsenal are on a feel-good factor after beating City,
and I think, what, Spurs, City, United, now that's three top six clashes
where we've come out of it.
I know you lot aren't exactly a top six side right now,
but I still class you lot as that.
I know, I know, I know.
I've never tried to play you, bro.
I've never tried to play you.
But I want to come out of that game with a feel-good factor.
As you said, we've been doing well travelling to Chelsea.
I actually think one of our best performances away from home last season
was at Stamford Bridge, just because I thought it was going to be
a bit more of a closer game, and it looked like a training ground.
Beating City means nothing if you've got to mess about.
Personally, we should be confident against Chelsea.
We should believe we could get something.
But form goes out the window.
And even when you look at form, there is reasons to be optimistic.
I think the last nine points available, you've taken seven.
You've got three wins in a row in all comps.
I think you've got three or four clean sheets.
So you're not exactly poor.
So I do think it would be an interesting one, if I'm honest.
We're defensively good, man.
And I think...
I'm going to get that with a watch to be fair.
Us sitting back and hitting teams on the break is going to suit us.
We've got a horrible run coming up.
I don't know if you've seen it.
We've literally got Spurs, City, you, Brighton, Man Utd in the next seven.
I know it's United.
Yeah, it's horrible.
It's absolutely horrible.
Brentford as well.
Some nasty games to be fair.
But this is where people have to stand up to be counted.
Yeah.
And you know what?
This is where I say, Potch, step up.
This is where you've got all the talent there.
You just need to nurture them and develop them into a position
where we get four wins out of seven.
And then get one or two draws, and everything's fine.
Everyone will be like, oh, you know what?
You're doing a good job.
And the reality is, like, I'm on an Arsenal channel,
and I'm going to be honest.
I respect your team a lot.
I actually respect your board for what they did.
The easy thing was to do was sack Arteta.
I would have sacked him.
He should have been sacked two or three times.
Back to back eight, yeah.
They backed him.
Because they said, we don't care what the fans think.
We think we've got the right man, and we believe in our guy.
And you know what?
At the moment, he's paying dividends.
We're next step.
Yeah, next step is to win the title.
And it helps me to say this.
I'm seeing signs that you can win the title.
I don't know, my guy.
Don't look at the league table.
We just take every game as it comes.
I've got a couple of the political ones to go.
It's the whole beat in the city when you don't play well.
Like, you didn't play well.
I can't argue with that.
That's a great one.
Then there's the other performances.
Like, you know, like, yeah, you drew with Fulham 1-1.
Oh, 2-2, sorry, this year.
And you should have won that game.
2-2, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Another day, you lose that game.
Like, if you look at it, like, in some aspects.
But our soldiers don't seem to lose.
And that's a good resilience to have.
Like, and I like what Arteta's made of your team.
Maybe it can be a little bit more flamboyant
and a little bit more enjoyment.
But now you're a systemic team like the way City are at times
where it's like, we're going to win.
We're going to bore you to death.
We're going to win.
And that's the evolution of good sides, right?
They get become boring.
I can't disagree with what you said there.
I think, you know, on our day,
I think we can give everyone a game.
But as you rightly said, you know, I've seen, I'm 28.
I've seen my team win Premier Leagues a long time ago.
Obviously, you're a Roman baby.
You've seen that.
There's only over a 38-game period,
I'm pretty sure Pep would echo it,
where he probably looks at his team and says,
you know what, we were perfect for 90 minutes.
I don't think there's that many games.
So I agree with your point of not necessarily playing well.
And I think there was that against United.
Obviously, we didn't beat Spurs, but that was there.
And that was to a degree there against City.
I agree with your point about winning ugly.
Where it now comes down to the league,
you're playing this beast of City
and you've got to take your chances.
Why I'm happy that we beat City is because,
as you said, for me, we've dropped silly points.
We drew against Fulham.
We drew against Spurs.
And again, what makes it a bit more annoying
is we lost those, well,
we lost points essentially from winning positions.
When you're playing City, you know, you've seen it.
In other years, last year,
we probably could have won a league title
if there wasn't for City.
But you're playing this juggernaut of a side, really.
So I agree with you.
The next step is to win a major honour,
get to the latter stages of the Champions League
and et cetera, et cetera.
And again, I know the Cronkies haven't always
been universally loved by Arsenal fans
and I'm not going to say they aren't necessarily.
But so far, nobody can really say anything.
Arteta's been backed.
You've brought in Declan Rice.
You've done all of these things.
Which brings me to my next question, you know.
You kind of touched on it, you know.
What are the changes you've obviously seen
with Todd Bergey?
What have you made of Todd Bergey's regime so far?
Oh man, it's...
I've had to reprogram myself as a fan.
And that's like...
It actually makes me uncomfortable
because now I've had to accept
that the days of Chelsea buy-in
for the next two years are gone.
And what they did was
they got the age right down.
I think we've got the youngest squad
in the Premier League.
Yeah, you've got bare kids essentially now.
They've invested in so many kids.
And what's going to happen is
I think we'll reap the rewards
in two to three years' time.
So we're going to look bad now
in this whole £1 billion spend.
Like every rival loves to like...
As soon as we lose, that's the first thing...
But when you look at what you spend £1 billion...
I mean, if you spend £1 billion,
you spend £1 billion.
But it's not like you've gone out there
and I know you've got Enzo,
I know you've got Kaisei,
though there might be a couple.
But you've essentially just spent it on kids
that could probably...
Some will develop, some could be sold on
and you make money and the world keeps spinning.
I think you're right with that.
And that's exactly what it is.
Like, I think winning Kunku gets back
is a little bit of experience.
In the...
So at the moment,
I'm happy with what they've done.
What I always wanted at my club was
get me a proper director of football.
Right?
And they've got me a director of football.
So now, you can't judge a director of football
of six months or...
Because they came in in January.
Yeah.
There's not too much you can really do in that year.
You're right.
What can I say, bro?
And I think this is where people lose out
on like context.
Yes, we've dropped down.
We had a horrible season last year.
But there's context to last year's season.
You sack Potter and you brought in Frank,
who the players knew he weren't staying
so you get eight losses in 10 games.
Can you imagine what I was getting for?
It's not that deep, isn't it, really?
You're not really playing for your future, per se.
A lot of people are going towards...
And then Reece James comes out with comments like,
oh, the players already knew they were going.
Ben Chilwell says people stopped running in training
because they knew they were going.
Can you...
You already know what was happening.
It don't sound good.
So what I think so far,
the metrics, if you want to go by them,
we're a decent team.
Eye test tells me we're a decent team.
We're just not finishing chances.
And what happened when we started finishing a few chances?
Whoa.
Two goals against Brighton.
Boom.
No, one goal against Brighton.
Two goals against...
Oh, at least I get three points.
Four goals against Burnley.
We're going to click eventually
and finish maybe fourth or fifth this year.
Next year, I think we kick on.
Because they're not going to stop spending money, by the way.
Like, I'm telling you now.
They're not going to stop.
Nah, of course not.
I mean, if you commit a billion pounds,
you kind of have to keep going, really and truly.
And it's not even just the fact
that you've committed a billion pounds.
It's you're doing this project,
kind of mirroring the City group
where you're trying to get a couple of clubs.
And as we said,
players are either going to come into the first team
or they're going to be sold for 30, 40, 50
and put back in the war chest and stuff of that ilk.
As you said, there's been a number of backroom changes.
And I kind of want to ask you this, obviously.
Do you think Potts, in theory, should get time?
Because you look at Graham Potter
compared to Pochettino now.
Do you think he should get time kind of regardless?
Like say you miss out on the Champions League.
I assume Champions League's a goal
and a trophy of some sort.
Does he get sacked for you then?
Because again, we're both basically the same age.
We've both come up on...
Chelsea notoriously are quite ruthless.
Like I remember saying to my bredrens,
when you lot got Thomas Tuchel,
he could win you stuff, which he obviously did.
And I know it happened for different reasons.
But reality is you could be out the door very quickly.
Chelsea have kind of been known
for that quote-unquote ruthlessness.
Yeah, man.
I would, but they wouldn't.
I promise you now,
you can clip me on this
and bring this up at the end of the year.
We finish fifth.
He's not getting sacked.
We finish eighth.
I think fifth gets you Champions League,
you know, this year.
Yeah, subject to how we play
and basically how our teams do.
Yeah, you need the English teams
to do relatively well.
We can even finish eighth.
They won't sack him
because they weren't going to sack Potter
because it got so bad
that they said, okay, we have to now.
The fan pressure, yeah.
The fan pressure.
And the person that got him sacked,
apparently Verville,
has left the club now.
He's no longer part of the director of football
because we had three at the time.
So they're fully on,
this is our guy.
We're going to work this project out.
It's very corporate, the way they work.
Like they go off metrics.
Like we've already had a few statements come out.
Oh, statistically,
we're meant to be second in the league.
So results are going to turn around.
I don't think they're necessarily wrong,
even though that would annoy fans.
If I was a Chelsea fan
and I heard that,
I don't want to hear that really,
but I don't think it was necessarily wrong.
I don't want Jackson to finish his dinner
from two yards out.
Like that's not a reaction.
That's fact.
But like, this is what they're doing.
And I'll be honest,
on some standpoint, I love it.
Because like I said,
with the Arteta thing,
they back their man
and they eventually reaping the rewards.
We don't need instability.
Now we just need some stability.
And what really,
what I like about Poch is,
players like him.
Like Cowell came out straight away.
As you know,
player power is very,
very difficult in today's day and age.
You lose the players,
you've lost,
don't matter what tactics you've got.
Bro, if Enzo comes out tomorrow
and says,
I don't like this guy.
If Caicedo comes out
and says,
I don't like this guy.
He's gone.
Purely based.
You invested a quarter of a billion
in just those two assets.
You're making it work.
Eight year contracts.
it's not going to be easy to flip him.
Like look at Sancho.
Like,
Ten Hag doesn't like him,
but they can't move him.
He knows he can outlast Ten Hag
if certain things fall into place,
especially with the pressure he's facing.
So for me,
it's just like,
at this moment in time,
I think Poch is staying
and we just need to accept what happens.
But we're fans,
innit?
We're emotional.
Like,
we're passionate into our club.
Otherwise you and I
wouldn't be running the channel.
It's only about the weekend with fans.
Oh bro,
when I tell you like,
my weekends have been ruined
in this past year.
I don't know how people
support small clubs.
I don't know how they support
a small club.
Like,
sometimes 12.30,
my girl's like,
oh,
what are we doing this evening?
I was like,
subject to the result,
we'll decide then.
Because,
I'm telling you that,
you might have to go out
with your mum or something.
Like,
at this moment in time,
like,
I'm hurt.
Nah,
I share your pain, bro.
That's how I felt against Spurs.
Honestly,
Spurs felt like a defeat,
as I said,
because we lost from winning positions.
And it's like,
Arsenal,
as much as we were good or bad
in some metrics last season,
I don't really buy into
City were so great last year,
which they was.
They won a treble.
It's Pep Guardiola,
it's Man City.
But fundamentally,
at some level,
we had it in our hands
and we crumbled.
Something that Liverpool
didn't do really and truly.
Yes,
we,
quote-unquote,
exceeded expectations.
No one had us to do
what we needed to do.
Two truths can live
in the same realm.
But we had an opportunity
of a lifetime.
You look at Liverpool,
when they were in their prime
and they won the Champs
and the Prem,
if it was a war,
they lost it against City.
But they won a couple of battles.
They ended their Premier League
title in 30 years,
first time in my lifetime.
That's kind of what
I want us to be on.
And the last two seasons,
going back to when we finished fifth
when we was fighting Spurs,
it's kind of annoyed me
that we've kind of done well.
And that last sort of
eight, nine, ten games
is where it's kind of been terrible.
So that's where I'm
looking at Arsenal
and specifically Arteta
because as we said,
money's been spent.
I don't buy into money spent.
You have to just succeed
because everybody's spending money.
The alternative is
developing new players.
We all know your club,
my club,
as much as we might waffle
about Saliba and Saka
and all these guys,
people don't really care
about players developing
because all they care about
is free points.
They're not going to hear it.
We've been here before.
So it's a bit of an interesting one.
I wanted to ask you about
Kai Havertz as well
because what do you make of it, bro?
Because it must have surprised you.
65 million,
let alone to Arsenal.
So I'm different
to a lot of Chelsea fans.
I always thought
Kai got scapegoated
a lot at the club.
Oh, he's getting that
to a degree at Arsenal as well.
Bro, you need to accept
what players are.
He's not a world-class player.
He's not dead.
So there are tools that he has
and you use your tools accordingly.
It's not my fault
you're asking him to be
the vocal point of this team
and you need to score 25 goals.
He's a guy that will get you.
He'll get you 14 goals in the league
if you play him at number nine,
but he'll give you link-up play
and he'll give you some nice moments.
You know what he did
for the Martinelli goal?
You're going to get that out of him
very well.
Big game Kai.
That's why we called him at Chelsea
because he always showed up
for the big games.
I mean, he's done it twice
against City.
I'll allow him for that.
So he's a good player in those games,
but I don't understand
his midfield experiment
because he doesn't have
the athleticism, in my opinion,
to play the role
in the sense that he's going
to cover so much ground.
He doesn't have the passing range.
He's good and secure on the ball,
but he doesn't make quick decisions.
He brings everything down
to his tempo.
So he doesn't have the robustness
to win challenges consistently.
And it's like,
Arteta, I want to see
what you're doing.
And a lot of tacticals told me
this is his role.
Even before at Chelsea,
people were like,
Frank Lampard wanted a midfield
of Declan Rice, Mason Mount
and Kai Havertz.
I didn't understand it
and I still don't.
Nah, I don't think that's a midfield
trio that will thrive
if I'm honest with you.
I don't understand it.
So I think he made a big mistake, man.
Arsenal was not the man.
He had to get out of sight,
go out of mind,
go back to Germany,
get forced that Thomas Tuchel move
in Germany
and just rebuild his career.
Right now, he's doing more damage
but making more bread.
So he just needs to ask himself
whether he's happy with money
or whether he's happy
with a good career.
And that's the thing
when it comes to Kai Havertz.
It's like, the one thing is
I don't know what you are.
When we signed Declan Rice,
for example,
you see what he brings.
Timber, you see what he brings.
Raya, you see what he brings.
I can see how collectively
they make our squad stronger
and our starting XI
and ultimately in their own way
get us closer to City.
With Kai Havertz,
it was a thing where
I don't back anybody blindlessly
but I like Mikel Arteta.
You know more about football than me.
If this is what you're doing,
I'm very concerned
but I'll support you.
We all know when Kai Havertz
was going to sign for Arsenal,
he was a player that was scapegoated
as you said, by Chelsea fans
and he was one of them,
myself included.
He's a player that's
easy target for rival fans.
So he was always going to be
cut a loose string.
What I've seen from Kai Havertz,
I do think there's a bit of balance.
I think at times he's scapegoated
but at times he's not looking convincing.
You know, again,
he can play as a false nine.
Probably looks the best
as a false nine now
but he hasn't really got
shooting boots.
You do make tactical fouls
and all of that sort of stuff
and you do run a lot
and stuff like that
but I don't want to have to
keep watching games
to be talking about that.
Arguably, he should be doing that already
and for me,
where the central midfield
is concerned for Arsenal,
you know, we're stronger
on our right hand side.
Benjamin White, Saka,
Odegaard will pull out there.
It's the left hand side
which probably needs
a bit of added layers.
Yeah, you've got Martinelli,
you've got Zinchenko
who have had knocks
and now you've got Kai Havertz.
I don't see how
at this moment in time
and I hope to be wrong,
how Kai Havertz, Rice
and Odegaard make us stronger
not to do with the other two.
You kind of wanted
a different sort of player there.
What I would say to Kai Havertz
is at the end of the day
I can have my thoughts.
The only opinion that matters
is Mikel Arteta.
He's bought you,
you're on a 4-5 year deal.
If the world is saying
you've played rubbish
but the manager isn't
then it is what it is
and I think one thing
that hasn't helped Havertz
rightly so is
you know,
you've jumped in the void
that's been left
by Granit Xhaka
especially this goal scoring
kind of Granit Xhaka
and that's where my concern is
and that left eight
I don't think anybody's grabbed it.
Smith Rowe
ain't had an opportunity yet
for whatever reason.
I'm not knocking Arteta.
Fabio Vieira's done well
but he's not grabbed it
with both hands.
Havertz has kind of played there
hasn't grabbed it with both hands.
I kind of want Odegaard
to play there
and Havertz in a 10
if I'm honest
but I don't really want to do that.
You know,
I do speak to a lot of
my Chelsea friends
and they say
we're kind of going
they can see Arsenal fans
kind of going through
the same layers
that Chelsea fans were doing
in that he's a striker
he's this, he's that.
You know,
Arsenal fans compare him
to Ozu
you're nothing like Ozu
apart from the fact
that you might
quote-unquote soak
which I just think
and you'll probably agree
in England
you know,
if you're not running around
like a headless chicken
you're not doing much.
I'm not on to you for that
but I just don't see
I just don't see it really
and truly
I don't see light
at the end of the tunnel
that don't mean
that it won't happen
but I can't see it.
Bro, your fan base
is at the stage
that I like to call stage 3.
They're actively looking for
like I'm dead serious
stage 1 is you're gassed
blind in faith
stage 2 you're starting
to have doubts
stage 3 is you're
confessing to yourself
that you're seeing
what you think you're seeing
so you're looking
for little things
the little positives
oh you see he's made
this many sprints
oh but did you see this
and his basic passes
like there was a compilation
professional football
you should be doing
these things
yeah there was a compilation
that went on the other day
and I looked at it
and I was like
this is from somebody
that likes Kai
Kai done a lot for my club
like Kai won me
a Champions League
that's one of the best
memories I'm gonna have
like yet
I was like
he's better than this
if this is a good performance
what the hell
has he been doing
in the other games
like I think it was
the Brentford one
you know there was
a few passes
or something like that
and people asked about it
I was like
there's levels to him
to improve
bro you're an experienced
individual
I look at personally
Kai Havertz
in the same way
I looked at Jesus
I looked at Zinchenko
to a degree Odegaard
in that you're
significantly experienced
coming into this young team
you should be a leader
kind of
I'm not asking Havertz
to score a million goals
and fly into tackles
because as I said
I do think he's being
scapegoated
but you should
I should be able
to see a difference
when I look at Odegaard
when I look at Jesus
when I look at Zinchenko
because reality is
the world didn't
probably want you
or Teta did
you do know this league
I can't
if you have moved house
fair enough
but I'd imagine
there's probably
an hour
half an hour
added to your journey
so you've got everything
to kind of thrive
and you know
fair enough at Chelsea
not everybody's thriving
everyone individually
and collectively
there's question marks
for us it looks like
there's a bit of stability
so I did think
that was a bit of
a positive tax
that would be there
but right now I can't see it
at this moment in time
personally
you're looking like
an impact player
you can come off the bench
you can maybe help us
see out games
you might do what you did
against City
but you know what
if Odegaard's rocking with you
I'm rocking with you
there's nothing wrong with that
by the way you know
the thing is
there's no get out
like know your role
and I think life
is simple enough
sometimes you need to know
like I am not
the star player
I'm a cog in this
rather than the piece
this is it
yeah
and you know what
if Kai wants to do that
so be it bro
like
some like
like you said
Arteta knows what he's doing
like he's proven that
he might be clueless
at times
all managers are
we're gonna question
but
there is some sort of
like method
to his madness
you don't accumulate
as many points
as you did last year
and you don't start
the season this year
the way you have
like results wise
if he doesn't know
what he's doing
so
like don't give him
blind faith
but at the same time
I also think
we're very bad
as fans
like my fan base
does this
and I'm guilty of this
every signing
has to bang
there can't be
one bad signing
immediately
like I said this
about De Sassi
after I saw him
against Tony
not Tony
Antonio
Antonio murdered him
right
absolutely destroyed him
that's a tough introduction
to the Premier League
as well playing against him
and my mate messaged me
and it was like
bro I'm gonna ask you
one question
how many people
has Antonio
done that to
and I was like
yeah he's like
so why are you
judging him
based on 90 minutes
like
and you know what
that's true
like
so now I was like
you know what
I'm just gonna wait
6 months
before I judge
any new signing
like
and I think
that's what
Havertz needs at the moment
then you'll know
what his level is
and he won't
shift too much
up or down
from there
and that's the thing
where I look at
obviously week in week out
if you played good
I'm gonna say you played good
if you look shaky
I'm gonna say you played shaky
but I have to give you
the luxury of
while it's the same league
and all of that jazz
whatever managers you had
at Chelsea
it's very different
to what Arteta demands of you
so you're getting to grips
with that
even though you're a German
international
Champions League
and all of that sort of stuff
so I do kind of give you
until next year
essentially
the turn of the year
but the problem
I looked at it is
again it's 100
over 100 million
close to 200 if that really
where you look at
Rice and him now
Rice, Sick Player
see how you bring us into it
and with the thing
with Havertz
it's high risk
high failure
high reward essentially
if it bangs
Arteta is a genius
if it don't
there's 65 million
down the drain
and there's no get out clause
I'm not one to necessarily
care about your wages
how much you cost
and all of these things
but there's no get out
I can't see that
we'll be queuing up
or flooded with offers
for you
I'd love to wake up
if that was the case
and Bayern Munich
want to pay for you
etc
so it kind of
has to work
and you kind of
touched on it there
and I echo that point
and obviously for us fans
it's like we wake up
in the morning
and players are saying
managers and
well some probably are
but managers are making
calculated decisions
he has to have been
talking to Havertz
on the back burners
for a while
and you know
pitching his case
to Arsenal's executives
who obviously
paid the money
of what he could do
so I'm going to
give the man time
but at the end of the day
we're in the Champions League
don't expect to win it
but we have to give
ourselves a decent
account of ourselves
I want to obviously
go as far as we can
in the league
and I want to win
I'm an Arsenal man
I want to win the FA Cup
and I just want to
keep succeeding
and I do think
the better we get
the less
not less patience
but the less patience
I kind of have
because we're getting better
and I shouldn't be saying this
if you as Kai Havertz
18 years of age
come from the academy
overruled
cool
but you're 24, 25
as we know
Champions League winner
Lord knows how many
Premier League appearances
German appearances
and all of that jazz you have
you know the league
and at the end of the day
it's football isn't it
and I did kind of want to see
a more confident Havertz
I understand why you don't
believe in yourself potentially
but I did think
you know what
I want to prove Chelsea
wrong for selling me
with their rebuild
Arteta likes me
I'm still in London
I don't have to uproot too much
I'm with players
that there's more stability
in the XI
so I wanted to see
more from him
What do you make
of Rhys James' injuries
and do you have any concerns
because for every rumour
that says he'll be about
for the Arsenal game
there's also rumours
that he won't
and when you look at this
it says since making his debut
in 2019
Rhys James has now had
17 different injuries
he's missed 482 days
due to injury
and 90 games in that time
or so
it takes me back
to our early days
at the Emirates
where whoever was captain
we barely saw them really
and he's a terrific player
Rhys James
Rhys is
Rhys is one of the
one or two players
that I could say
is world class
for Chelsea at the moment
like
so he walks into
like literally
walks into
99% of the team
like Real Madrid
placement
Barcelona placement
Bayern placement
so
that's how good
of a talent he is
but we can't
keep him fit
and that worries me
but
I'm not selling it
like
I wouldn't sell him
if I had Rhys James
there's this dumb narrative
right now
at Chelsea
oh let's cash in on him
what are you cashing in on
for real?
yeah like
if Godber
he's in the Twitter spaces
and he believes fans
get on the phone
let's get his squad
like if you don't
really want to sell
Rhys James
you just bring him
to the carpet man
that's crazy
there's a section of fans
like
oh you gotta sell him
because
he's only gonna
some people are like
oh he's broken
I was like
he's not broken
because we went through
this with Ruben
he's just got a bigger body
and he's explosive
so
something
either his diet
or something
is going wrong
like
the mechanics
aren't just working
facts
you pay enough doctors
someone needs to
figure this out
and what I really
appreciate
once again
that Todd Bowley
and everyone have done
they went and got
a good right back
yeah Gusto's decent still
Gusto's top
top
like for me
this weekend
I don't want to see
Rhys on the pitch
only because
I'm not risking him
first game back
after this period of time
against the Martinelli
or against
and then you're gonna
lose him for
a longer period
you might as well
lose a battle
and win a war
essentially
I've got a one-on-one
demon in Gusto
who's like
Mattoma
he's pocketed
twice now
like
he's a good player
like he knows how to defend
he's not aggressive
in a good way
yeah very aggressive
like
what did they ask him
they said
what's your best attribute
he goes I can tackle
like
he literally said
I can tackle
it's refreshing to hear
a defender say that
you actually don't hear
that much these days
anyways
yeah
and he was just like
I can work on my defensive end
and that's like
you know
when you hear someone
talking about themselves
and
especially in football
you're like yeah
you know who you are
you're not
you're not deluded
like you are absolutely
within your right mind
of
this is what I am
this is what I need to improve on
and I love that
so
for me with Rhys James
get him right
give him 15 minutes
20 minutes
train him up to play
one game a week
I don't know if you watch
basketball right
but Kawhi Leonard
load management
get him on a load management
program
he plays
25 league games
a year
at most
I don't want to see him
cross that threshold
until we believe that
you've got his body right
because losing him for
long periods of time
one is demoralising
two
it creates a negative
negative atmosphere
around the player
yeah
because you've got dumb fans
saying why
why is he even a captain
like you
you're not a captain
because you're just the best player
you're a captain
because of the influence
I mean if anyone's Mr Chelsea
it's him and again
he's not
that clearly tells me
if he's captain
he holds weight in the change rooms
he's convinced the manager
and he lets his nuts hang
and he puffs out his chest
really and truly
but I do have to ask though
at what point does
Reece James have to take
personal responsibility
for this
because you know
again I don't know
we're not privy to your diet
your exercise regime
you know
it could be the training demands
but it seems like
this is consistent
with him really
because we've got a couple
of players like that
so I remember
it was like a few years back
I did the like
he was getting injured
so I looked into
the weight that he was
in comparison
to other teams
right backs
and he was around about
10 to 12 kilos more heavy
based on Google numbers right
so like
I don't know how accurate
they are
but that's a bit worrying
but in recent years
he's actually slimmed down
like if you look at like
he's really lost a lot of weight
looking a tiny bit more lean
he's looking a lot more lean
and
I think he took the
fat jokes personally
because he started like
he even started responding
with pictures of like
top off
he's like oh I've got abs
and stuff like that
you know like
they listen
you can't let the internet
rattle you like that James
it's fully like
you started seeing
all that stuff
but I also think
they're learning off Ruben
like Ruben lost his cheek
went through a period
where he just couldn't
stay fit at all
and the thing is
when you get them big injuries
you start getting the little ones
like probably what
Reece James is getting now
when you have a long term injury
coming back
next thing you know
your hamstring's gone
your Achilles gone
this gone that gone
and like you know bro
that ultimately stops you
training being fit
and showing your quality
and then it's just
it's just a consistent cycle
and that's why I rate James
because I do think
and every player gets injuries
because I do think
fans just think
oh they're getting paid
a lot of money as football
it can be lonely
especially like
I look at last season
like if you was an
Arsenal player injured
you finally had a bit of
things to be happy about
and yeah you cheer
on your teammates and stuff
but when they're on
the training ground
you're in the physio room
and it's a long recovery
and you know
the physical wounds heal
but mentally you know
we played football
you know how many times
you had an injury
and you're actually alright
but you're scared
to do certain things
on the pitch for fear
of things happening
so players probably have that
and obviously it's probably
more heightened
because this is an elite
level sport essentially
and everything they do
is more intense
like in every aspect
like every little detail
how many times like
I never used to warm up
I'll be honest
did it
you turn up on a Sunday
when I got older
I had to man
I started pulling
my hamstring bro
yeah like so for me
it was just like
just start playing
but for them
literally how many times
you hear it
oh they didn't warm up properly
so you can just imagine
the little details
that go into them
the levels
it's a different level
of course
so man
I just feel sorry for him
like even though
he's not lonely
because we have everyone injured
like our injury record
ever since
yeah it's a madness man
so it's like a club there
right now
yeah so
speaking to people
that like
are in and around it
and that like
ITKs
or like
but these are actually
ITKs isn't it
like as in
like
they're saying
it's like a revolving door system
they've changed
everything that
it would take
four years to change
in a natural process
in six months
like receptionists
are gone
or
certain individuals
allegedly
and like
kit man's gone
this is gone
that is
like they've changed
the ethos of the club
and that can't be healthy
but it's needed
really we've done that
we've flushed out
a lot of staff
and a lot of people
wage cuts
and a lot of players
it's needed
you have to go through
those teething pains
especially if you want to
start anew
and I think people might
look back in 2, 3, 4 years
and say you know what
we got onto Chelsea
them times in 2023
but in 2025, 26
you can see what they're doing
and that's kind of what
not that our club's anything
to necessarily shout about
but now people can
kind of see
the trust, the process
and all of this jazz
and the buzzwords
that came out with Arsenal
initially
bro the other day
we were talking about
bad owners right
I was like
there was this whole rhetoric
about the Glazers thing
and I was like
Liverpool fans
hate their owners
Enich and Spurs fans
it's like a relationship
they turn up
with their 20 men
to protest
like 20 fans
and then
United fans get
their Norwich scarves out
yeah they get
their Norwich scarves
but with you lot
I don't hear nothing
about your owners
and that either
tells me
to be fair
that's either
because you win
so you don't have time
to moan about them
or genuinely
you're starting to
get on board
with what they're doing
because they're spending money
and I think it's simple right
once you start
seeing results
you have good owners
it's simple as that
you're bang on the money
and I think with me
in the cron case
I wouldn't say
I'm necessarily
100% convinced
but I'm 98% convinced
because you're doing
what's being told
for a long time
it's kind of like
at Arsenal
they were left
to their own devices
and when you look at
then I actually
went and looked at
because they own
quite a few sports clubs
you know
hockey, NFL
bare things innit
I started to look
at their model
and when they bet
on a coach
they bet on them
they kind of like
to put the right people
in place
and they're not as
hands on
not that it's wrong
but they're not like
your owners
they're not always
going to be at the games
even though Josh
has been there a lot
they'll kind of
leave you to your
own devices
that's where
I actually believe
in the last 2 years
3 years even
any success or failings
obviously indirectly
it comes from the owner
if you have a company
and you're failing
you might not be
making day to day
decisions
but you've got
to hold that
it's been on the manager
or I do because
money has been spent
you know
you look at a couple
of January's ago
when Spurs
picked us to top 4
we didn't bring people
in in January
we learnt our lessons
and that's where
I can't really get at them
and it's really just
on Arteta now
as much as I like
we know we're not
a club that is
well we did buy
Declan Rice
but we're not going
to go and get
the Mbappes
and what not
of this world
but simply put
the owners are doing
what I wanted to see
that's why there can't
really be any protest
really and truly
and now fans
are happy
and that's why
I actually rate Arteta
the thing I rate
the most about Arteta
is when he walked
in the door
the thing that
stuck with me is
we need to get
the Emirates
rocking again
and it's nice
to see fans
of all different
races, religions,
sexes, etc
just *******
smiling again
and being happy
and making it noisy
like we was called
a library
we're still probably
not the most
noisiest ground
in the world
but it's a difficult
ground to come to
and it's an
entertaining game
essentially
so you're
not only that
when people start
hating on you again
it's a sign that
you're doing well
there you have it
celebration police
onto us as well
yeah like oh
you're playing
the celebrating
after a win
it's only fun
I love it
because it makes
me *******
happy
bro I say the
same thing like
all the time
I want people
to laugh at us
winning
because evidently
we haven't won
properly in a while
like we won
three back-to-back
games I think we
won four games
prior to that
all calendar year
like can you
imagine what
that's a magic
yeah I think
Chelsea won
four calendar
like in the year
prior to that
little three game
streak we won
four games
all year
that's a magic
it doesn't even
sound like a real
stat like
yeah
but it is
which is
it is
and it's damning
like so
for me it's like
with Chelsea now
it's what I want
to get to the
stage with you
like I want a top
four finish and
to look forward
to next year
like I know
people are gonna
go oh you're
losing your
principles
yeah but my
principles
only idiots
maintain the
same principles
when they don't
have the same
resource
you have to
like you
can't
obviously
I've seen
Chelsea finish
eighth and then
go win the league
but reality is
that's not gonna
happen now
naturally the goal
would of course
if you wanna
over perform
but I don't
think you're wrong
in saying you
know what top
four trophy
we do that
next season
with some
investment
that trophy
by the way
I want the
caribou
cup
he's won
that a lot
people
sorry
yeah like
people laugh
at trophies
like you know
I saw with
you like your
fan base
we got bigger
fish to fry
that is a
common thing
that's been
flying around
bro
the players
wanna win
how many
players actually
win trophies
and that's a
problem you
know
I think
if you get knocked
out of the FA
cup early
and don't win
the Champions
League
and don't win
the Premier League
doing well
is a good thing
but it can be a
curse at the same
time like
Saliba playing
the way he's
playing
Madrid isn't
far away from
saying
Militao
it's not
I've said it
before
I genuinely
think he'll
play for
one day
but this is
where I look
at it
regardless of
what these
players are worth
now
where I look
at Saka,
Odegaard,
Martinelli
and Saliba
if we can
win some
stuff in a
few years
with you
great
but if
these clubs
try and
come for
you
we need
to be
getting
a hundred
odd million
quid
and that's
why again
why I kind of
rate what
Edu did
because in
previous years
at Arsenal
with the way
Saliba's
playing
his contract
would have
been running
into the
season
you look on
Sky Sports
every game
is he going
to stay
is he going
to not
but in
the summer
these contracts
were nailed
down
even to the
point where
Benjamin White
he's got three
years left
on his deal
we're renewing
that
not that he
will field
offers to
the level
of them
on one
hand I
don't want
to praise
the club
for doing
competent
things
but these
were things
that wasn't
said and
unheard
of really
under
the
previous
regime
so I'm all
for it
man
to kind
of round
this up
I wanted
to ask
you a quick
fire round
both of
this it's
just one
answer
just one
answer
all at
the
minute
no
explaining
just one
answer
ready
yeah
all right
let's go
right so
Kaiseido
fair enough
Chaucer or
Modric
Chaucer
fair enough
Levi Caldwell
or Saliba
Saliba
what else
have I got
Arteta or Potch
Arteta because
I prefer
his style
nah no
explaining bro
what else
David Rye
or Sanchez
Rye
fair enough
James or
White
James
Hazard or
Salah
Hazard
Drogba or
Omri
Thierry
Terry or
Rio
fair enough
Lampard Skulls or
Gerrard
fair enough
I knew you was my
guy that's a great
answer
last one
Jorginho or
Havertz
Jorginho
fair enough
you know what
I thought you
might go with
Havertz because
of the Champions
League thing
you know
nah nah nah
bro I've got an
affinity for
Jorginho from
like I love
Sarri
like since
Jose Mourinho
like take
Jose out the
equation because
like he's my
favourite manager
of all time
because of what
he's done for us
Sarri was the
one manager where
I bought in
like the way
we played
football
we played
amazing football
I saw stuff at
Stamford Bridge
I've never seen
like we dominated
teams
we pressed
like counter
pressed beautifully
in big games
but at the same
time against little
teams we used to
pop it around
everything we
built what came
through in Baku
you know like that
whole performance
and the fans got
him out
he went home
not because he
wanted to because
he knew he was
four bad games
away from being
sacked
and I'll go to
Juventus and
earn the same
money and what
did he do at
Juventus with an
agent Ronaldo
that didn't want
to press
won the league
and since then
Juventus have been
horrible
like yeah
yeah absolutely
terrible
so for me it's
like Jorginho is
the identity of
that player
and I think
people focus on
what kind of
represents the
manager
they focus on
what you can't
do than what
you can do
but you look at
your team
your players
love it
off the pitch
as well I mean
how can you not
love Jorginho
I just think with
me with Jorginho
it's a thing where
you can't
you're not a 38
game man
the thing against
the experiment
against Spurs
it didn't work
and I think that's
where when
Declan Rice has
come off
that's where we
need another
number eight
whose levels
are another six
but when you've
got them city
games or
it's an
exaggeration
but if there's
38 games
I think there's
10 obviously
more but there's
10 games that
from a tactical
point of view
I understand
Jorginho like
the one game
I give Jorginho
credit Newcastle
away last season
absolutely scared
I was scared
shitless I
thought yeah
they're high
intensity
they're gonna
put us under
pressure Jorginho
stood up tall in
that game and
that's why I'm
kind of happy with
Jorginho really
even if he
wanted to stay
for another year
and kind of
just hang around
me personally I
think him
probably gonna be
gone next summer
but I like Jorginho
man I've got a lot
of time for him
I think there's
aspects of Jorginho's
game that he could
try to pass on
to Declarise
Declarise said
that a few
years ago he
looked at Jorginho
obviously he'll
never be that
but I think
there's similar
things in a bit
like however long
Trossart's gonna be
here Saka
Martinelli
all them young
G's you better
take bits and
pieces from his
game and add it to
yourself man
so yeah I can't
blame you for
saying that with
Jorginho
so you know
Nathaniel Chalabar
Trevor's brother
he went he went
on loan to
Napoli and
Jorginho was there
at that period
and when he came
back they asked
him who's the
one of the best
players you've
ever trained
with said
Jorginho he
said he was
five steps ahead
of everyone
and I think
we don't we
don't appreciate
sometimes you
know the stuff
that he's
slow like he
should not be a
footballer with
his athleticism
he never like
and that's why
he's such an easy
target when he
gets smoked
because he gets
caught with 50 yards
behind him so
people are like
oh he's a
pointing merchant
but he's just
he's a brilliant
player brilliant
player man
technically like
really secure
and he's just
I didn't understand
the noise when
Arsenal fans were
kind of going
mad in January
we're getting
Jorginho don't
get twisted I've
got it I didn't
you know we
probably wanted a
bit more glamorous
or glamorous not
the right word
because he is
robust but I
could see I
could hear the
Jorginho thing
as I said there's
a couple games he
could come in and
do a thing for us
really and truly
definitely not the
worst signing we've
signed from Chelsea
of all the players
we've grabbed off
you look no no
he's not a
Willian signing
he's not a
check that's
finished but he
literally is backup
and if you have
players I was
annoyed when we got
rid of him like I
know we got 12
million for all
8 million for a
player with six
months left on
his deal I was
like Enzo would
be learning from
him we need
experience and
that's the level of
like I think in
your Champions
League runs don't
be surprised if he
gets that
yeah you have it
no I should be
looking at you
really and truly
and it goes back
to what we were
saying earlier
about Kai Havertz
give or take
Gabriel Jesus
Jorginho Havertz
to a degree
Odegaard as well
you lot have
Champions League
or European
experience these
are the games
where the vast
majority of our
squad are Champions
League specifically
Virgins there's a
couple of them
that have played
in Europe or
Conference League
and things like
that they haven't
popped their
cherries bro so
Jorginho wouldn't
surprise me and
the thing I like
about Jorginho is
his temperament
sometimes it goes
against you like
against Spurs where
he wanted one touch
too many he got
finessed but you
need that in them
when there's every
reason to panic it's
like being on a
plane if everyone's
panicking you want
the pilot to be calm
if the pilot's
panicking then you're
in trouble isn't it
that's where Jorginho
comes into it he's
almost too calm I
just think at times
it's not even with
Jorginho because as
you said earlier you
kind of have to
accept footballers for
what they are their
strengths and weaknesses
there's just certain
games and again I
look back at Spurs
when Declan Rice has
come off there's no
Thomas Partey it's
suicidal really Spurs
are a transitional team
they're aggressive it's
suicidal really playing
Jorginho in that game
but when it's a
tactical battle because
I've seen Jorginho play
quite good in the
defeat I think at the
Emirates I'm sure it
was at the Emirates
against City and
obviously the last one
he's played well when
it's just a football
match like a chess
match a Pep versus
Arteta Jorginho's the
man and when I look
at Arteta I look at
Ryan now because he
was doing at
Brentford I look at
Jorginho and I look at
Odegaard if you watch
our games especially
throughout the ground
he's always calling
these three players
over and relaying
information and then
you start seeing the
hand signs and whatnot
of course I don't know
what they're saying but
I just see that as
your Arteta's eyes and
ears on the football
pitch essentially really
you're the ones
governing it you're
the three kind of
captains per se
Bro there's been
three occasions as a
Chelsea fan where my
allegiances to Chelsea
went away and I
smiled at an Arsenal
goal and I was like
you know what I
didn't expect it
it was
it honestly like it
was the Thierry
against Leeds when
he returned
oh that brought me
to tears bro
yeah there was
there was one I
remember Adebayor's
goal against Spurs
the one where
yeah yeah yeah
the volley too
it's just a beautiful
goal and there was
Jorginho's last minute
winner that hit like
the other last year
and it gets Villa
away
it's the player innit
like the players make
you have a certain
affinity for them
so I think he's just
got that kind of
power a lot of
Chelsea fans didn't
like him
but there was a
cult following for
him like
like there's people
that still want him
to this day to do
well even though
it's Arsenal they
won't admit it
because they're fake
like they'll be like
oh no you can't
say it
I'll say it out loud
like I've got no
problem saying it
like there are certain
players you want to
do well
I don't want you lot
to win the league
but I want them to
have like top top
performances and you
lot not to win the
league right
I mean I don't think
anyone I don't think
anyone could disagree
with you saying that
man
last question what's
your score prediction
then I'm gonna have to
go 2-1 Arsenal I think
it will be a much
closer game than on
paper I don't think
we're just gonna I love
it to be that I don't
think it's gonna be
we're gonna just turn
up there trash the
place and walk away
three points but I
think it will be a
very close game
because it comes down
to personal respect
now like you've been
getting embarrassed
at Stamford Bridge
you've got nothing
to lose if Arsenal
win it's not selling
too many headlines
if you lot win there's
a lot of headlines and
it's a positive step
into the right
direction so I'm going
with 2-1
2-1 Arsenal I think
we're gonna have a good
game I'll be honest
I think we're gonna
have a good good game
everyone's gonna leave
oh you know what
there's a lot of
positives for Chelsea
I just think the
clinicalness of you
lot at times the
sacker steps up in
big games Jesus
loves Chelsea like I
don't know what I
remember a great finish
he scored for Stamford
where there was like
20 players in the box
next to him
he plays with headphones
in like he's got some
samba bachata on and
he's moving around
like there's nobody
there like Jinkie
left right and centre
he makes our centre
back strong
literally
I just mean it like
I've got a bad feeling
in the sense that
we're gonna be the
better team on the
day but you're gonna
get the result and
once again just
continue your own
this is a title charge
we're gonna win it
this year
when it comes to
top six I'll take that
man because again
I've seen my team
play you know play
well against Chelsea
play well against it
last couple of times
excluding the victory
play well and
ultimately not get the
three points and I
think of course I
want to play well we
need to play well the
majority of games but
now it's just about
getting three points
and I love the fact of
I felt last season we
improved against the
top six sides this
season so far
undefeated I hope it
don't end on Saturday
let people know they
can find you man once
again
hey guys on the
gafkas view on
YouTube you guys can
find me or you can
find me on TikTok
gafkas view that's the
best places to get my
opinions on football
and video content but
on Twitter not your
average Alexis like
that's where I chat the
most ---- and nine
out of ten times don't
take me seriously on
that platform like I
just love to troll
people I'll be honest
oh man you know what
yeah people again make
sure you follow him
man again all his
information by the
time this comes out
you know the TikTok
the Twitter the
YouTube again
everything will be in
the description in fact
where YouTube's
concerned his name
will be in the title
don't be shy
don't be lazy
hit the like button
comment subscribe all
of that good stuff
let me let you get out
of it my friend man
appreciate you for
tuning in and
chopping up with the
guy man I love
talking to fans like
you I really do
because you're honest
you know like
you gotta be honest
man we're fans of the
game first of course
you're Chelsea I'm
Arsenal but I don't
do this tribal thing
like it's boring and
it rubs you off the
beautiful game fam
bro honestly sometimes
people tell me like
they're like oh I
think you're more of a
football fan than a
Chelsea fan and I
feel like well before
like I was so invested
about Chelsea my dad
was showing me like
because I'm Georgian
innit I didn't grow up
in England I came like
I was seeing Raul
videos like on TV and
stuff like that
you fell in love with
the game first
the game yeah so I
appreciate I watch
all too much football
ask my girl like we've
got a common
complaint like in this
household
join the club mate
you're not alone with
Jack Black
like so nah like I
talk about all football
even though people
say I'm not qualified
like to talk play
you know what I mean
if you're a fan you
can have an opinion
man that's all BS
man that sort of
stuff pisses me off
really everyone's
allowed a voice even
if you're chatting
---- you're allowed
a voice everyone's
allowed an opinion
now having an opinion
means that you're
going to be subject
to criticism or
praise depending on
what you're saying
but I like people who
don't mix their words
man so yeah like the
man said make sure
you're following him
on his platforms
again let us know
your thoughts and
everything we've
discussed smash the
like button comment
subscribe we're out
