We meet again today for a simple and delicious recipe, these peanut cookies.
To give them a good peanut taste, I use peanut butter
or as some prefer to call it peanut puree.
I add margarine and mix the two.
Then I pour my white sugar and my brown sugar.
The mixture of the two allows you to have the right texture but you can only use one or the other.
Once well mixed, I add vanilla and lemon.
But you can also use vinegar, it doesn't taste at all.
After incorporating the ingredients, stop everything and smoke your salad bowl abundantly.
This step is extremely important because the mixture of peanut butter and vanilla
is one of the best perfumes on earth, just that.
We can finally pour the flour into our salad bowl,
to which I mix baking soda before incorporating everything.
My margarine is salty so I don't add salt.
You should get a rather moist cookie dough.
If you want really crispy cookies, you will need to put more flour.
If you want very thin cookies, you will need to put less.
I also crush some unsalted peanuts to add to the dough.
Once everything is mixed, the cookie dough is ready.
All that remains is to form balls of dough on a plate covered with baking paper.
I use an ice cream scoop to have more regular balls and get a more rustic look.
Then I add some peanuts on top.
I got 7 cookie balls, it's very frustrating but that's how it is.
The whole thing goes in the oven for about 10 minutes.
And here are our cookies once cooked.
I didn't film it but I like to add a pinch of coarse salt on top.
This recipe is so simple, the cookies obtained are tender in the middle and crispy on the sides.
When I asked you for your favorite cookie flavor on Instagram,
the peanut came back very often.
But you could follow this recipe by making a nut, almond or sesame version.
As always, the complete recipe is on the blog.
The link is in the description of the video.
See you next week for a new recipe.
In the meantime, I kiss you and see you soon.
