On October 18 and October 20, Rutgers Students for Justice in Palestine held Protests for Palestine at Brower Commons on the College Avenue campus. Protestors chants included "Free, free Palestine!" and "Gaza, Gaza, don't you cry! We will never let you die!" Some protestors held signs saying, "Rutgers funds an apartheid state" and "Land you have to kill for is not yours. Land you have to die for is."
Gaza Gaza don't you cry. We will never let you die.
Given RUPD's history with supporters of Palestine on our campus,
we do not feel they will protect us as much as they will supporters of Israel.
Free, free Palestine.
President Holloway made an agreement with Tel Aviv University
that will allow them to house operations right here in New Brunswick.
This means that our New Jersey tax dollars will fund at least five projects
between researchers from Webcoz and Tel Aviv University.
Tel Aviv University actively develops military philosophy and weaponry
that is used against our people.
The best way we can help the Palestinians on the ground
is by constantly talking about them,
making sure to educate people on what is happening,
and being the voices that they need.
Free, free Palestine.
