We're Viridia and these are some tour pranks that we have dished out.
I think I dish out most of the tour pranks, which is funny because I do many, many things
for a reaction.
But if somebody were to do those things to me, I probably wouldn't be such a good sport
about it.
I can admit that.
One time we pranked Trevor on his birthday.
Yeah.
We were in a bus and not in this van and we, for his birthday, sealed him in his bunk with
wrapping paper and something else, something that was hard to get through.
Cardboard.
Yeah.
It was like gaff tape, duct tape, wrapping paper.
He had to punch his way out of his bunk.
We have a video of it somewhere and all of a sudden you can just hear him wake up and
then you just hear this like, like his head hit the, he's like, what the heck?
And then we were just all just dying and yeah, so that was for his birthday.
He was his own president.
Honestly, like nobody has really pranked us and I'm probably going to regret saying this
on camera because now everybody's going to want to like do it.
Um, I mean there was each other, yeah, we messed with each other a lot.
There was one time, I don't know how to describe this, but there's like a type of like Ethiopian
bread called injera bread.
It's like this giant like sourdough flatbread that you like eat your food with and one time
we had Ethiopian food and they roll it up and it's kind of like jiggly and weird.
And that thing, we took some with us, I guess, like as like, you know, like the leftover
hamburger that we have in the front seat.
Um, yeah, we had some with us and one roll just kept getting like passed around like
this whole tour.
One was like by someone's face when they were sleeping so they'd wake up.
My face.
It was my face.
And after like two weeks, I get home and I am unpacking my clothes and like a pair of
my shoes had it wedged into the inside of it.
It started to mold.
I was like, I didn't know if I should throw this, like my shoes away or what, but I was
so furious.
I like called all of them.
And there was another piece at another time that kept getting passed around and it ended
up in my suitcase.
I always ended up with it.
He thought he was being sneaky and he hid it in my suitcase, but our photographer saw
him do it.
And later we hid it in this little box that, that the headlining band had given us as a
gift, which Kyle is all about like sentimental stuffs and souvenirs and gifts.
So we knew that he would keep this nice little wooden engraved box and we hid it in there.
And like a week later after the tour is over, we just get a group text from Kyle saying
F you both.
Oh, Hey, there's our, there's our, there's our very competent sound guy.
He's the best.
He's kept things lighthearted.
And I, uh, I still have the engraved box.
He's right.
I still have my shoes.
Um, there's another, I did it just the other day.
Uh, so we're on tour right now with icon for hire and, uh, the drummer Harley, he has these
two bright pink laptops that he uses for tracks and redundant playback.
And, um, a couple of days ago he just left his backpack wide open on the couch.
And I just thought, okay.
So I just all in one swoop, grabbed his laptop, put it in my jacket, took it straight to his
bus and gave it to one of his bandmates.
He lost it.
It was awesome.
And this is the last night of the tour and he says he's going to get me back, but I keep
to myself pretty well.
So I'd like to see him try.
