In this video, we'll show you how to use the power of AI to turn your ordinary photos
into extraordinary masterpieces.
Let's start!
As I walk you through Upscale, a powerful image upscaling tool, let's dive right in.
Open your web browser and perform a quick Google search for Upscale.
The first search result should be Upscale.org.
Go ahead and click on it to access the main page of the Upscale tool.
Now on the main page, look for the Download button in the upper right corner and click
it.
This section will take you to the Downloads section.
Here, you'll find options for three different operating systems, Linux, macOS, and Windows.
Do note that the Cloud option is currently marked as Coming Soon.
Choose the version that matches your operating system.
For this demo, I'm selecting the Windows option.
Keep in mind that for the tool to work, your Windows operating system should be at least
Windows 8 or higher.
Once you've chosen the Windows option, a pop-up will appear.
Click on the EXE Installer button to initiate the download.
The size of the EXE Installer file is 223 megabytes and the download time may vary based
on your internet speed.
Once the download is complete, locate the downloaded file and open it to start the Upscale
setup.
You'll have the option to choose the installation destination folder or you can keep it at the
default path.
The installation will require approximately 542 megabytes of space on your computer.
Click Install to proceed.
After a brief installation process, click Finish to complete the setup.
Now let's launch the Upscale software.
Upon startup, you may be prompted to install any available updates.
Feel free to install them, but for now, I'll select No Thanks.
Assuming you have a folder filled with numerous low-resolution images that you'd like to
upscale, let's see how to upscale a single image.
You have two options.
You can either drag and drop the image into the software or you can click the Select the
Image button in the left sidebar.
Once you've chosen your image, you'll need to select an artificial intelligence-based
model.
For this demonstration, I'll go with the default choice.
There's also the option to click on the Double Upscale Radio button, but do keep in
mind that it will increase processing time.
It's not typically recommended unless you want to experiment with it.
Now, in Step 3, select the Output folder where you'd like to save the upscaled images.
The original resolution of the image I'm using is 183x275 and after processing, it
will be upscaled to 732x1100.
Click Upscale to begin the process.
The time it takes to upscale the image depends on your computer's capabilities and having
a GPU can significantly speed up the process.
Moving on to upscaling a bulk of images all at once, enable the Batch Upscale option.
Make sure that the folder containing your bulk images contains only PNG, JPG, JPEG,
and WEB image formats.
Select the folder with the images and choose the Output folder.
Finally, click Upscale to start the process.
The time required will depend on your computer's capabilities.
Now you can view the final results of the upscaled images.
