(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights VfB Stuttgart - Borussia Dortmund

Mavropanos, yes. So, and they're playing better this season. Oh, what a pass! Good touch from Mundav. He's brought down, it's a penalty. No question. An apology and a yellow card. No double damnation. It's Chris Furish who's looking for his fourth goal of the season. Good start from Kerbal. Good follow-up and Dortmund have come away without conceding a first stop of a penalty in his Dortmund career for Kerbal. And, well, back towards Mundav and Mundav's got the ball. He's not going to find room there. Good block by Kerbal. Millau looking, finding another shot. Dortmund living on a knife edge right there. And if it weren't for Kerbal, it could easily have been 2-0 now. There is Furish again. Like a dagger straight through the heart of the defence. And here's the chance for Leverling again. Blocked and blocked again. That's a good pass. Sabitzer. Hit well, hit beautifully. And the man who's hardly touched the ball all game shows why he's in the Germany squad. He's in the right place at the right time to put Dortmund ahead against the run of play. But that is football. And that makes the difference. You're 100% right. If you don't score, you can't say anything. Stuttgart are the better side. But if you ask me, I wouldn't change anything because they're doing well, Stuttgart. They still might do. Leverling, lovely ball. Mundav's through. This time he scores and they certainly deserve it. A smile and a cheer. They worked so hard for it in the first 45 minutes. Really good ball from Ito. So there's no offside. Benzebaini against Leverling. Too easy and then a perfect pass for Mundav. To finish. Super assist. Super, fantastic football from Stuttgart. Given away. And they've got a man extra. Föhrisch. Chris Föhrisch makes it. No, he doesn't. Nearly makes it 2-1. This is a little more Dortmund-esque. Yes, and that's a good ball. Ito is in the way. Sabitzer off the post. They've taken the risk and now Stuttgart are going to hit them on the counter. Oh, another one of those silky smooth balls. Is it another penalty? Of course it is. Guirassi against Corbett. The former Stuttgart goalkeeper. He stopped one today. Not stopping that one, no. Guirassi is back. And the fans love every single goal he scores for them. An incredible season for Cyril Guirassi and Stuttgart. 15 goals in just 9 games. If you make a table out of those 34 games, he would have been 5th. But they're 3rd tonight. A home win for Stuttgart. And back-to-back losses for Dortmund is the final score here.
