Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel.
So in today's video, I'm going to be talking to you about the right kind of food that you
should be including in your diet and I'm also munching on it right now.
Your hair and your skin is actually the reflection of what you actually put inside your system
to sort of nourish it.
So I am going to be talking to you about that.
And if you haven't followed me on my social media, you can follow me right here and yeah,
without wasting any further time, let's get started.
So the first most important thing I want to talk about is protein.
Your hair is actually made up of proteins and lipids.
It's the building block of your hair.
Proteins are responsible to make your hair super strong and healthy and it is a core
So if you guys are a vegetarian, you can have things like makhana, paneer and moong dal.
And if you're a non-vegetarian, you can have a lot of chicken, egg whites.
You can also include all sorts of yellow dal which have protein in it.
So all of these have a lot of proteins in it and I highly recommend you guys adding
this to your diet.
Second most important thing is iron.
It is one of the most important minerals required by your hair cells.
Lack of iron in your body can actually cause hair loss because if your body is running
low on iron, oxygen and nutrients are not transported to your hair follicles and hair
cells which can actually inhibit hair growth and make your hair very weak and brittle.
So for iron, you can include green leafy vegetables.
You can also have iron supplements.
Spinach and methi are a great source of iron, especially spinach because it is so good for
your entire body.
It is so good for muscle building, just keeping you strong overall and great for your hair
as well.
So the third thing I want to talk about is vitamin C.
Now vitamin C is very important for iron absorption and you guys know iron is so important because
I just spoke about it right now.
It is also very good for your hair, skin and nails.
It also helps in collagen production which is great for your skin.
So guys, like you all know, vitamin C is so essential and so good for your skin and hair.
You must include things like lime, red pepper, broccoli into your diet.
You can also have things like amla, kiwi, guava and strawberries which are also a great
source of vitamin C.
The fourth thing is omega 3.
It is one of my favorite nutrients.
It is packed with fatty acids which actually add shine and luster to your skin and hair.
It also nourishes your hair follicles, encouraging really good, healthy, strong, shiny, glossy
hair.
So omega 3 fatty acids is one of my favorite things to have because it makes your skin
and hair really shiny and lustrous.
So definitely include things like walnut, almonds, pumpkin seeds, all sorts of seeds
like flax seeds into your diet.
And if you are a non-vegetarian, you must definitely include fish and salmon in your
diet because these are very rich in omega 3 fatty acids and are great for your health.
Okay, so the fifth thing I want to talk about is biotin and I'm sure you guys have heard
me talk about biotin in a lot of my videos.
Biotin is always going to be there in any of the hair supplements.
That is because it makes the hair super healthy and strong.
Lack of biotin can actually cause your hair to look brittle and dull.
It is also called vitamin H which is great for your hair, skin and nails.
Deficiency of biotin can lead to hair loss, hair thinning and dull looking, brittle hair.
For biotin, you can have the egg yolk, mushroom and cauliflower.
You can also include sweet potato in your diet.
Now sweet potato is actually rich in biotin.
It is also a very healthy snack to munch on.
So the sixth thing is vitamin A. Now this is very important for the growth of every
cell in your body.
It also produces natural sebum in your scalp which actually helps in hair growth and healthy
thick shine hair.
For vitamin A, you can include things like carrots, dry fruits and peaches.
So carrots are actually a great source of vitamin A. So definitely have a lot of carrots.
You can also include things like lettuce, dry fruits, apricots, peaches, papaya and
pumpkin which are also a great source of vitamin A.
Okay so the last thing is vitamin E. Now vitamin E actually improves the blood circulation
of your scalp.
It also makes your hair follicle work more efficiently to promote hair growth and it
also maintains the oil and pH level balance of your scalp.
Vitamin E is actually great to keep your skin supple and your hair healthy and shiny.
For this, you can have sunflower seeds, avocado which is high in vitamin E and also wheat
germ oil.
