3 AM 7- ELEVEN Breakfast & LUXURY Five Star Korean BREAKFAST BUFFET in Seoul South Korea

hey guys good morning it's Mike chin it's about 3:00 a.m. here in Soul South Korea just got here about 8 hours ago super jetl woke up starving luckily this being South Korea there's always going to be places that are open and there it is hop out place open 24 hours a day I actually said it was open 24 hours a day but it's actually closed no matter can always depend on [Applause] 7-Eleven [Applause] smells so good that's some absolutely delicious microwave kimchi fried rice also one of my favorite things to get in convenience stores are intestines and pig skin didn't have pig skin so op for intestines this thing was cooking in the microwave it was H like it smell of funk filling up the 7eleven look at this whole pieces of garlic tons of spicy sauce this goes great with rice m I tried this before last time I was here it's ridiculous how good these intestines are great texture it's super spicy tastes that nice fattiness also whole chunks of garlic with just a little bit of that intestin funk there were more restaurants that were open if I kept walking down but if you're starving like I was you want a really satisfying meal can always find that at any convenience store if you do go for a convenience store meal get the pig skin with the intestines amazing basket Robins is like a whole different store here in South Korea and they make a heck of a strawberry milk that's was incredibly satisfying we're going to go get a little sleep going into a breakfast buffet later today all right I just took a glance at this Buffet this might be one of the most impressive all you can this [Music] [Music] round one got some challing noodles got some sushi big cuts of pork belly and some banan also a shrimp tempora in my little Brock as well freshly fried tempora soaked up all that amazing broth this broth has a ton of wami very light and flavorful these are wheat noodles taste a little bit like sofa noodles they definitely soaked in that broth very very well adding A Little Cucumber to it for some crunch fantastic I can sip on this broth all day long oh that shrimp is so [Music] sweet I think that's a snapper and every piece of fish as fresh as can be that's like pure butter this is some amazing sushi at this breakfast buffet I've never seen that before in my life I mean sushi for breakfast I think it's a great move also just look at this juicy pork belly tons of fat put a little mustard on here this is not your typical breakfast ham at all there's some good melty fat on the slab belly so Smoky and juicy Chase it was some Bunch them round [Music] two next round got some pickle mustard stems drumstick more pork belly just pork jaw as well there's Bogi some mackerel and anen egg as well chemistry dumpling dun get into my anen egg why not this is a really creamy dip I love skims was one of my favorite things ever these things are just so incredibly crunchy I think the Bogi flavor is good a little tough though I love how this Buffet has fresh Wasabi that stuff is good on all the meats but Wasabi on my pork neck that's actually really really tender also I managed to snag a piece of pork belly that's all fat oh that's just the best piece this Mac so good good amount of fat tons of flavor in your ha especially the edge pieces that's almost pure fat also I got what they call eye opener it's pear in ginger oh that's really really good not too spicy I mean I call a plate of sushi and eye opener for breakfast but this works [Music] too they also of course have all the classic breakfast items out a bunch of pastries bread and a dessert bar maybe avoid this it's not a great croissant it's really doughy and tough Danish beautiful this is superb light flaky crunchy beautiful juicy popping grap that's so good also this is their seasonal cake it's a fig cake I think with strawberry jam inside well that just like a cloud and I'm sure you don't hear this a lot but trust me if you're you ever do come here eat your cake for breakfast this is the most moist bouncy Airy delicious cake in all of buffet land that's one of the best things on a buffet donut M this is really good donut with Jam inside it's very pillowy and bouncy M this is a strawberry pudding that's delicious and this is a sway milk pudding oh this is really really good kind tastes like a tofu pudding with some nuts inside with some cacao beans mildly sweet so much flavor wonderful texture I mean pretty much whatever you want for breakfast this Buffet is going to have it everything's so good here this is definitely one of my favorite Hotel bu fish can't really overdo it because got a packed food day coming up and right now time to hit to a bakery where they serve up a castella that's maybe one of the most beautiful in the world now time for some dessert in this place mostly makes one of the most delicious and definitely the most beautiful castella cake maybe ever what's really cool is that every single room is a different color this is definitely the most colorful C I ever been to got my castella cake and they make a cream that you pour on top that pretty much looks like what unicorns eats look at that [Music] this is the most beautiful cake feel like I'm eating a fairy tale right [Music] now it doesn't just look beautiful I think it taste amazing as well oh that is so good it's a rainbow of colors but also a rainbow of flavors as well the cake itself extremely spongy and light the rainbow that I basically just dri grizzled on top of the cake creamy not overly sweet the cake is incredibly moist little nutty flavor with a slightly sweet finish it's it's such a luxurious taste that feels both indulgent and comforting inside the cake itself there's a layer of cream that adds even more creaminess to each bite of again the most beautiful pick I've ever seen this is absolutely a work of art both visually and taste wise wow I mean I didn't think it was going to taste this good like I said it looks like what unicorns eat and it tastes absolutely magical and this is the regular cake I got some different flavor of cakes and creams to try out [Music] too also I got a chocolate oh that's really good and I paired the chocolate cream with the matcha cake got that great hint of bitterness from the matcha cake with that rich velvety chocolate and there's matcha cream inside this cake too I mean both the cream and the cake beautifully made I mean the last one tastes like a unicorn themed fairy tale this one tastes like an enchanted forest I mean I don't know exactly what an enchanted forest tastes like but I think it tastes like [Music] this last cake strawberry with pink cream looks like some crystallized sugar on top this is probably the best tasting of the three cakes I mean it's just so much strawberry flavor both from the cake and the cream itself I taste real strawberries in here so it's very fruity the beauty of this cake is is that not overly sweet at all even with the cream it tastes so fruity that cream is just perfect with this beautiful Airy cake yeah this is definitely my favorite cake I don't think this is the most beautiful one that title definitely goes to the unicorn cake but the flavor is incredible this is such a cool experience I mean both visually and taste wise this thing tastes as good as it looks definitely come here and give this a [Music] try after cake time for barbecue this one's really unique I'm at a Northeast Chinese barbecue called H call stand this place just opened up a few weeks ago I think less than a week old and it's already a line out the door every single [Music] day [Music] I got a couple of their signature dishes one is their eggplant I think with a fried ball of cheese in the middle never seen it cook this way before fried eggplant definitely never seen a cheese ball in an eggplant dish before but look at this crispy on the Outside Inside stretchy mozzarella let's try this first I mean has a giant fried ball a fresh mozzarella that's always good the eggplant is awesome the texture is everything with this dish beautiful subtle crunch on the outside nice fragrance from the sesame seed inside delicious soft eggplant that's just bursting with this three natural juice the flavor is a little peppery a little spicy this is like the perfect combination of seasoning where it adds that nice flavor but also highlights the natural sweetness and juiciness of the eggplant and just cover that with some of the stretchy cheese this is a fantastic fantastic dish if you love a plant you will love the heck out of [Music] this another is a is fried jumbo shrimp covered in male so the shrimp has little bits of fried inoi mushrooms on top and is a giant giant shrimp all these dishes so beautiful this is so so good delightful crunchy shell inside jumbo juicy plump sweet shrimp this thing is fries so well the mayonnaise is creamy a little sweet I've had similar dishes like this before this might be my favorite just the quality and the size of the shrimp they use here so much meat so much sweetness just like the eggplant such an awesome texture these are a couple their siner Trad dishes I would highly recommend them both but this is a barbecue plate so let's try the [Music] barbecue [Music] so what's really unique about this barbecue is look at how big the skewers are never seen skewers like this before this looks like something you will carry with you when you're hunting Dracula and they told me that's because in northeastern barbecue you want to get a giant chunk of meat you want to get a giant chunk of fat with every single bite and that requires a giant skewer and I got the combo platter which comes with chicken there's lamb there's beef there's pork there's corn there's bread and of course is wooden charcoal so you got that delicious wood charcoal fragrance and smell coming from the barbecue look at the sizzle on that meat there's little nooks on the barbecue so it's easy to turn and all the meat is already marinated I think this one's ready I think this is a lamb skewer oh my gosh this is freaking ridiculous no wonder there's a line on the door every single day without any of the dipping sauce they provided this is already so good juicy ridiculously tender dunk it into some of the cumin and Chili's roast the cumin a little more to release the flavor that is absolutely out of this world I mean everything from meat quality to juiciness to the amount of fat that's in every single bite it's absolutely perfect I'm just going to one bite this thing every piece perfect meat to fat racio kind of burn my chicken wing a little bit you get that beautiful smokiness of the war charcoal in every single bite this is definitely a place where every bite it's just so satisfying chicken pork lamb everything is so good I got a piece here that's just full of fat and I like just putting this whole thing in my mouth bigest difference between these skewers and the smaller skewers I've had this is way juicier cuz that wood charcoal SE all that beautiful juice of the meat and with these bigger skewes you can have a bigger piece of fat which just gives you more flavor this peas right here I just pure roasted fat out of this worldl they also brought this check this out this is reminiscent of how you eat a peeking duck so they're suggesting take a piece of meat um wrap it in this crepe some scallion cucumbers so I'm going to take a piece of the pork piece of the Lamb scallion cucumbers dunk the meat in sauce wrap it up and besides the meats they have other things you can barbecue roasted corn you can toast some buns sponge cook pretty quickly this will go really good with the meat also every skew taste that delicious smokiness of the cumin the chili sesame it's not the sweet corn it's the more starchy kind wow it definitely tastes a lot of the Heat and cumin and for dessert toasted marshmallows marshmallow over a wood charcoal fire delicious and fun this is such a cool delicious experience if you are ever in Soul you want to try a Northeastern barbecue that's like no other check this place [Music] out dinner I would love to get some noodles just walk past this shop right here that sells ljo doll me and some knife cut noodles sounds [Music] good knife cut noodles one of my favorite cuted noodles in the world and I'm getting it J style so I'm shredded pork peppers onions earthy bean sauce this place makes it very very well super thick and chewy nle textures absolutely perfect Chase it with some pickle radish and kchi this noodle shop is so busy every single table is taken today's been such a fun food day start off with an amazing Buffet then the most beautiful cakes I've ever seen in my life a very uniquely delicious barbecue experience and it's just so
