Okay Good morning y'all. Welcome back to another week in my life vlog. I've been doing my makeup on the floor and it's just like girlhood But there's something about doing your makeup on the floor next to a mirror. That just is better I can't describe it. Welcome to week in my life this week. Um, I It's we're booked and busy, okay, we've got a lot of events like a ton of events I have at least one event every single day. We'll see how many I make it to you I'm at least going to one every single day. It's currently like 630. Actually the Sun's I think it might be like 645 and I'm getting ready. I'm shooting my merch this morning and then I have a workout after Tonight I have a dinner with social bird, which one of my friends McGuire. She's a co-founder of And I'm so excited because she used to live in Dallas and she moved she had a baby. Oh my god I hope I get to meet him. It's like telling you her life story. Anyways, I'm going to the dinner with a couple girls tonight And I'm really excited That's more of like an intimate one that like won't take as much social battery because I like know all these people pretty much You know, I have all these new like holiday outfits and looks guys. You're gonna kill me now. You're not you're gonna be happy. I Ordered another order of H&M for holiday stuff Okay, so there will be another haul probably this week But I have a lot of outfits that I want to wear so I have this merch drop and then it says houseguest on the But I think you guys already saw that and it's out probably by the time you guys are watching this vlog on the 21st I don't know when this one's growing up, but if not marker calendars and then in real time right now, it's November 13th and I have my lunch tomorrow. My skin is so oily right now But it's because I put a bunch of like balms on I might like work out with mascara Like I literally never work out with makeup ever. I'm also in the middle of like trying to clean my garage out We have a lot of stuff to get rid of I Was kind of working on it yesterday a little bit cuz I want to be able to like go and use a treadmill I should have Sunday. I had Janine's wedding, which was fabulous So happy for her. It was so sweet. They're just like so cute together and like it was just oh It's a happy thing. I rarely get to go to weddings your friends as a second wedding I've ever been to a friend because my friends don't get married rarely and also none of them are like really only like one of Them is like actually dating someone so I really want To turn my garage into like a wellness garage. I just am I telling you all my life stories It's like 6 a.m but I made a mistake when I moved into this house and I moved in the day of instead of Staining my garage floors and now I can't stay in my garage floors because you'd have to have everything out of your garage for 24 Hours, and I can't leave all my stuff outside Like obviously if you guys have any Advice or if you have something that I could do to like I don't know It's like a classic like a work garage like there's like a work thing in there. Whoever lives here before It's like a man's man, you know, which makes me feel cool. But like the floor is ugly So I need to figure that out. Like I know that it's like not right and not real So loud at 3 a.m. I have to get a call You have to answer you have to answer all these questions like whatever so annoying I mean, I'm grateful for it, but like I know like at 3 in the morning this morning I'm like, I got home from the wedding lay I went to bed late and I got to wake up at like 5. I'm so tired. I had to wait with 6 I think I'm so tired 5 a.m. My alarm system starts chirping. I'm like You know, you're just so tired and so annoyed you're like the only option I have right now is to just start crying like that Is how I felt. Yeah, not good Today is not gonna be that eventful until tonight because I have like probably six or seven hours of editing to do But I'm really excited for tonight. I think we're gonna have a really good time girls girls When I ever called you guys that I don't know I've never had a name for like my followers ever I Don't really think it's like my vibe necessarily but like I think you guys are all my houseguest With an S you get it like the podcast and like that's the whole point of the podcast is for you guys to feel like You're my houseguest like you're sitting in on a conversation. It's like the lower back of my head It is so much later today if I would have vlogged you guys would have been bored It was just a lot of lunch prep and editing and just working on good guides and boring computer stuff So now I'm getting ready to go to dinner. She is a co-founder of a wine brand and I'm going to a dinner for the brand Mr. Charles, I could have just said that in like the easiest way I gave myself a little blowout and I did my makeup writing in this room isn't great I do like my makeup, but you can't really see for my outfit I'm like so excited about getting dressed every single day and just shopping. Okay, also listen up I got this skirt because I saw someone wear it was only $30 on Amazon or on Target And I can't tell if I think it's really cheap looking Or fun or if that's kind of the point and trying to find red sequined skirts everywhere and they're all sold out I did get my red kitten heels from Express. These are only 40 bucks I haven't worn them yet, but I have like so many outfits that I'm planning on wearing them with I'm just waiting for the other stuff to come in like we'll see it was only $30 to you know, okay I got a size medium. I definitely should have gotten a size small so size down. I can just do something here I'd wear different stuff underneath. Honestly, I'm keeping it. I mean it was only $30 and also I feel like there's a way To like make it look good and fun and like I don't know I feel like I'm gonna be able to style it well, like we'll see I'll link it if anyone is interested, but Definitely size down just because I feel like I don't know. Maybe it'll be okay Maybe if I wear it down a little bit more I'm stepping out of my comfort zone with my outfit a little bit tonight This skirt is a skirt. I just got from H&M. I was in a haul recently. I Just think it is a must-have. It's also not on the street. I think it's a must-have. It's so good It's lightweight. It's good to wear tights and just dress up and I don't know. It's like a staple skirt I think it was like $30. My top is a bodysuit from Skins. I did have a cuter one I'll show you that like the coloring looks better. I liked the little mock neck I went through a phase last year or two years ago Actually, was that last year my live show this one of my Dallas live show Which I really want to get back to doing shows. It just wasn't a bodysuit So like it seems like it would look better, but it just like wasn't giving him honestly like oh Sorry fits honestly like I don't know I don't love this one either But I feel like I'm just stepping outside my comfort zone and it's fun and it's cute and whatever And then I'm wearing tights and then the heels are from Sam Edelman, of course guys last night At the wedding my favorite senior Edelman pumps. Look what happened the heel this part broke off And I did today order these in chrome because I really just want chrome heels I want to wear them literally all the time kitten heels love Sam Edelman like that is my tried-and-true But can I just get a replacement on Amazon like I was looking today, and I don't know I've never had to do it before so I don't know exactly what I need and I don't know I've got to figure it off. I'm pretty much prepped I did get a wholesale catalog created because I do want to sell a friend of mine in very like specific stores Like I don't want to go like everywhere my dream like my absolute dream is anthropology and Nordstrom But there's a couple other like boutiques in Dallas that I really do and like Fort Worth that I want to sell them at The wholesale catalog is so cute. So I'm gonna start sending that off. Anyways, what a good morning tonight is very exciting because it's Lila's event for their Christmas decor Lila's is a wine bar in Dallas and it is the cutest wine bar ever I love Lila's and they always go all out with decor and it's always so cute So we're going tonight Mason are going together. I'm going to do the brain coat thing that I tried to do last week I think I was like literally in this outfit too, but it's fine. It's like my Sims character look I want to do it last week, but I forgot to put gel in your hair So I couldn't because I didn't move from here that night. So we're going back and I'm very excited I'm like super interested in brain health and all those things and this sounds great. So I'm doing that Um, just a bunch of other stuff the fire pits gonna be done today. It's a really good day. I was in like such a good Okay, I'm making the products live So earlier last week I put I made the products live on the site randomly middle of the day because I was sending out gifting and I put in Orders to send out gifting and like ten of y'all somehow we're on the site It was like a random time of the day and saw them and bought them So congrats if you ever do that and you see it up, it's because I'm doing gifting and you won Yay. Yay. Yay All right, guys, we're actually going to get the brain scan now brain scan. I don't know if I would call it that I'm going to brain coats. I don't know what I actually is. They're doing like a gel Thing we'll see I am interested. I've I'm always very interested in like brain health stuff. I have I had depression more growing up I feel like it mainly is anxiety I've noticed a lot more like brain fog Recently and by recently in the last couple of years, but I also have PMDD and now I feel like is like the worst All of it. Okay Any medication? I've been on and off. I haven't been back on forever. It was like most recently on Lexapro Okay, but that would have been like 2020 I've never had a bad experience with meds, but I had like not the best the last time around and I like keep very like routine and structured and I read and I work out every day and like whatever Okay, so that like helps a lot Yeah What would you say is biggest like stressor for you Okay, so we see all your brainwaves coming through here So all those electrodes are just connected all going down this side. So live real-time brainwave activity There's nothing you can do to mess this up unless you just reached over and unplugged it But a few things that we just try to minimize so we don't have to extract Oh All right, so I did the garland to match the tree here's what I'm thinking I kind of want to buy one more piece of this garland. So it's thicker I feel like there's a lot of ribbon going on, but I don't necessarily want to take the ribbon off I'm more so just want to add more garland So it's really fun and like colorful and playful like the tree So the ribbon is the anthropology ribbon But the stockings the garland and at the stocking hangers are all from Amazon I will have it linked on my storefront. I need to put stuff in the stocking So they stay the right way, but I just got some neutral stockings because I thought maybe you know I'll change it up with the ribbon and everything I'm not I mean the stockings are fine Like I don't think that they're like the best thing that's ever happened to me, but they're fine They just came they just came in that little pack of three, which is what I was looking for So anyways, I really do like it. I think it's cute and fun I just need to maybe add another piece of the garland update I should have gotten thicker ribbon for the top, but it's just not working and I think I am gonna get an actual tree topper So I'm gonna look on anthropology today and just see what they have I'm still so in love with this tree like oh my god Just took Coco to her rehab and acupuncture Appointments little coconut update for those who don't know coconut has IVDD Which is a disc in her back that basically she woke up in March with her back legs being basically paralyzed She can't oh my god She still can't fully walk, but there's been definitely movement and development She's taking a long time and it's going to take a long time while I was gone Okay, it looks like While I was gone the guy just did the fire pit lighting. I've been thinking I was having really bad caffeine headaches I think I was just like getting sick. I feel so much better today compared to what I felt like so much better My fevers broke I feel you know, whatever and tonight I have my last Christmas event and if I don't make it to that I'm literally gonna sob. I've been drinking just bone broth because this is like, you know in my big fat Greek wedding How the dad thinks that like what next cures everything? that's how I am with bone broth like what even is this vlog at this point because I've literally been in bed every year like Literally every year the week before Thanksgiving because of all the weather changes So this morning, I'm just going to try to knock out a bunch of computer work I did get some stuff done while I was sick I was trying to read and it's still even reading as hard like I finished the nonfiction book I was reading and then I started iron flame and it's so good but something about the book being 800 pages, even though I'm so excited to read it just it's really like Overwhelming. I don't know. Oh my gosh guys. I just will never take my health for granted literally Hours later, I'm feeling much much better. I got some stuff done Everyone that I know has been feeling this way the thing about being sick is that I don't even recognize myself which makes sense because I got photos back from The other night at that social bird dinner and I was in my face Like it looks like I'm like so puffy like it doesn't even look like me. I'm doing a little mask I was just putting some things away whoo, I Love a sheet mask. I got stuff for Friendsgiving next week. These are like my centerpieces. This is the ribbon these candles and Then what is this handle holders? I I'm feeling a lot better. I just Curled my hair. I need to do like a blonde treatment. It's looking a little bit Yellow the body is just so inflamed But we're gonna get ready. I have all these Tart gift baskets, which I really should. Oh, wow I should try one of these actually and then I think these are eye palettes very pretty and then I love these maracuja Juicy lips. They're so good. I have even more stuff in here. We even got Shape tape with our name engraved on them. So I'm gonna just try out a couple new products I think the key to making your makeup look good Macy's been saying this to me is just doing it slowly and I don't do my makeup slowly ever So that definitely adds up we're gonna go on with shape tape doesn't but doesn't shape tape have like bad flashback I guess we're gonna find out What I really need is new eyebrow gel. I always need new eyebrow gel since mine's always clear I just like put it on I don't even realize that it's out and then finally I'm like my eyebrows aren't doing anything and then It takes me another month To pick a new one up. Okay, we're doing a little haul have these Sam Edelman chrome heels These are the heels that I have that I love I have them in three different colors I need to replace the black or at least get the bottom fix, but I got the chrome These are just the best kitten heels Sam Edelman has the best heels. I wear their shoes non-stop I have so many Sam Edelman shoes, and I know this chrome thing is a trend but listen They're so cute and fun, and I really wanted a pair Those are the only ones I could find though all the other ones are sold out everywhere like they didn't have my size They were sold out like there were just none and the same with the red kitten heels Which I found from Express that were like on sale right now for like $37, so those are great Those are linked in the last vlog From Amazon I got this red sweater. It's a little red cardigan. I got it in a size medium I wish I would have gotten a size small just so it's a little bit more fitted I feel like this one's a little bit long, but I wanted a cute little red cardigan again It's super trendy, but it's kind of perfect because of the holiday season I got the matching top to the sequin skirt that I have I made another H&M order the rest I think is from H&M. I'm not gonna wear this necessarily with a sequin skirt I don't think but I just think it's fun to like dress things up, and I like it a lot I got this top which I feel like I'm getting size medium and H&M And I keep regretting it and wishing I went to size small But this top is just a really nice like great quality top with a bow in front which again obviously perfect for the holidays So cute. I just think it's so fun. I love it. It's kind of like a tie not really a bow I guess then I just got two Thin turtlenecks you can just never have too many of these I Got an off-the-shoulder red long-sleeve top. I love a long-sleeve top. Well. I guess it's just a one shoulder top These I always find to be pretty flattering, and then I also got this top which I thought was nice. It's this little halter Top and this kind of like champagne print love that and then from Adidas jewels. They sent over some jewelry One these earrings. I thought these are fun. I might actually wear these tonight. I thought we'd get a lot of wear out of them And then this chain necklace. I got a chain bracelet. I don't know where that way it was really thin And then also just these oh these are really cute, too These little earrings. I don't know if you can see the detailing in them, so I just got dressed really quickly It feels so good to be able to leave my house You know how it's actually really inexpensive these pants are about $35 and this top is on sale for ten But it's only 15 anyways this nice little turtleneck I just showed you guys in a hall These pants are recent haul from H&M, and then these shoes, okay, so the shoes are Sam Adelman Not as cheap, but worth it. I'm gonna tie around this little sweater because I think it might get cold and Pack up my bag, and then I'm off to meet the girls at the Statler. We're going to the holiday preview I've been hearing nothing, but amazing things about the Statler nothing feels better than leaving your house once you've been sick I Happy Sunday the background is so colorful Lots of updates so last night Yesterday was Saturday. I ended up feeling a lot better, and I had a bunch of people over I am so glad I did that fire pit guys It was so much fun and like we ended up having there was like five of us originally and then we ended up having probably like 15 people over total and We made s'mores we roasted marshmallows, and it was just like so much fun, and I ever since Honestly like growing up in high school and McKinney if you guys are Dallas people You know McKinney has this place called Irwin Park So we would go do like bonfires there and stuff and it was always like my favorite night And I've just always wanted a fire pit and to just like regularly do that versus like always going out to the bars Don't get me wrong. I love the bars I used to like literally have to go out every single night Or else I would be like that was a whole week wasted just because I wanted to be my friends and do things But now that I'm getting older like I would rather Have a cozy night It's honestly now that I have a space for it, too I'd rather have a good cozy night in and it was just so much fun like Liz came over and we're just hanging out and I was baking Donna Kelsey's cookies, which I'm gonna finish baking today And then I ended up we ended up writing sprouts to make dinner before everyone came over and everyone came over It was just so much fun. We stayed up talking until like 2 in the morning, and it was just like so much fun Like I'm so glad I did that fire pit in my backyard And I ordered a fire pit organizer as soon as I woke up and We're gonna do it again on Tuesday after Friendsgiving and just honestly probably throughout the next Couple of months all the way until like March because it's cold here until March I just think was the best thing ever and I'm in such a good mood because we just had such a good night And it's just like I don't know something about like sitting out and talking to your friends for hours with a fire pit Just puts you in such a good mood. So anyways loved that today's Sunday I normally don't vlog the weekends, but as we know I couldn't really do much this week So I'm about to head to the talks to get a lymphatic drainage massage, which is so amazing They DM'd me and I was like listen like my Like I just feel like my whole face is puffy like even photos like my whole body. I'm not getting a face massage I wish But it'll be good for me after being sick for a week, and then I'm gonna run to Trader Joe's to do some grocery shopping for Friendsgiving slash Thanksgiving. I'm making a couple things I'm making this like carrot roasted carrot dish for Friendsgiving and mashed potatoes And I'm gonna buy a ham and then for my family Thanksgiving. I'm doing green bean casserole, so I'm gonna get all that stuff Get some flowers And like start prepping but this week is like a holiday week basically everyone's talking about like where we're going out on Wednesday And I'm like oh my god Like I just feel like I would love a week Before it's Thanksgiving week to like be a little more productive and get everything together But you know it is what it is so anyways fireplace update fire pit update obsessed best thing I ever did like honestly potentially even over the pool just because it's like easier to entertain but Okay, so I just got a Lymphatic massage at the talks y'all are in Dallas. I think they're gonna give me the info I don't know exactly what it is. I'll have it down below I'm listening to Iron Flames audio book because it's so long 800 pages for a book is insane So I'm listening to the audio because I'm out and about so that I can like get through it faster Because I just find that if I take more than three days to read a book it makes me not like it as much Even if I love the book, but I was listening to it And it's getting to like this like smutty scenes, and I'm like oh my god They're gonna headphones off. I was like okay. I literally have to get out of here even the talks like a lymphatic massage It's not the most comfortable thing. It's not a relaxing massage Don't get me wrong, but like it gets rid of like everything it like really drains your body like God So good at the end of it at the end. You know maybe not always during it It's like it's not that bad like I've had somewhere. It was actually really painful that one wasn't at all just feel so much better I really need on my face like I can feel it like maybe just like congestion. I just feel it Oh Okay guys I should have filmed before I just put all the napkins in the middle of the table to get them away from fits That napkin is going on the plate But the key to hosting is setting the table days before it's actually happening So the day of I don't have any added stress not that it takes forever To set the table, but the issue with hosting is that a lot of things just creep up on you And then you end up needing to do a ton of stuff so most of this is on Amazon. I'm also like obsessed with that app It's so helpful with shopping And also I've been updating my Amazon storefront so this stuff has definitely been super super helpful Everything is Amazon besides the garland and the plates the plates are at home these plates are amazing I have so many other for hosting, but just because these match Everything I use them for it literally everything also. We like never even use this plate. It's really just for the vibes I guess no one ends up using it, but Anyways, I really love this My dining table and my chairs are CB to this rug is rugs USA That's CB to as well my blinds or TFW shutters And then I have stuff out, so I'm gonna use this. I just wrote down my recipes for what I'm making I'll show you all in a second, and then I have out my serving bowls So that's gonna be for mashed potatoes, which I have two of those That's also from how I might need to bring out the other one and then this one's gonna be for the roasted carrots But I love how this is turning out so from my recipe journal. I'm going to make the roasted garlic mashed potatoes I'm probably gonna double this my mom said that you should always do like five pounds of potatoes for I'm sorry My handwriting is so ugly For mashed potatoes just because it ends up you always end up needing more And then I'm gonna do the roasted garlic roasted carrots with candied picot and goat cheese I'm also in charge of the ham, and then we have a cheese board coming as well, and everyone else is bringing different apps So that should be good and these are my floral arrangements not my best I'll be honest with you, but it'll get the job done anyways that is it for this vlog I hope you all enjoyed it.
