Having suffered defeat for the first time in five matches last weekend,
Everton aim to bounce back immediately here at the city ground today.
And having won their last two away league games,
confidence is now so much better on the road,
and there's renewed belief and optimism about Everton away from home.
However, Forest can be a tough nut to crack on home soil,
although Brighton did become the first Premier League team to win here last weekend.
It's one change from Sean Douch for Everton today,
from last week's 11 against Manchester United.
As expected, Dominic Calvert-Lewin is not fit, and Beto gets his chance
as he starts a Premier League game for Everton for the fourth time.
Everton fans are here in their numbers, and they've brought those cards with them
as they had them at Goodison Park last weekend.
The protests will continue.
It can be a difficult place to come to and claim all three points,
as I say only Brighton have done it this season here.
Their home form last season predominantly kept them in the top flight.
So Forest to get us under way, Everton in all blue today.
Everton only won two away Premier League games last season,
they've already bettered that total in this campaign,
and now aim to win three on the run away from home for the first time in almost three years.
Toffolo, on for Yates.
Ilanga has given it away, and Everton pick up with Garnier finding Decore.
Here's McNeil, still McNeil.
And then eventually it's put behind off the boot of Ilanga,
and that will be an Everton-McNeil to take.
And the keeper flicks it away, he got something on it,
he just wasn't convincing from Blakadimos.
Who has his first name on the back of his jersey.
Tarkovsky asking Beto to chase.
It certainly puts Mourinho under pressure, will Beto.
Decent ball if Garnier can get there, and he can.
Chance to put it into the penalty area here.
Away by Willy Bolle, James Garner.
Keeper was off his line momentarily.
James Garner, who was on loan at Nottingham Forest for a season and a half.
69 appearances in total for Forest.
James Garner.
McNeil.
Lent on heavily.
Everton beginning to get on top.
Garner, Mikalenko, lifts it into the penalty area.
Tarkovsky heads down.
Tarkovsky again missed his kick.
The referee is blown, because there is a man down inside the penalty area.
Tarkovsky initially won the header, Bramfwaite's on the turn,
and Tarkovsky couldn't fire towards goal in the end.
Everton pressing, and looking to turn this possession into an advantage in terms of a goal.
Tarkovsky.
The keeper's made a mess of it, and Beto can't turn it home.
He lifts it high over the crossbar, after Vlachadimos had made a real ricket there.
The Greek international goalkeeper came for this ball,
and didn't deal with it effectively, McNeil stood his ground,
and Beto could only lift it over the crossbar.
There's certainly no free kick there, McNeil didn't do anything wrong,
and Beto tried to place it and skied it into the Everton fans,
and a good chance goes a-begging.
He knows it.
Here's Ashley Young, trying to send one in behind, but away by Forest.
And it's given away by Serge Aurier, here's James Garner for Dwight McNeil,
McNeil's ball in, Beto can't get there, Murillo does, McNeil again!
Behind the goal of Vlachadimos.
Murillo still feeling the effects of that earlier challenge.
Forest gave the ball away, and McNeil with the final header,
which was high over the crossbar.
Forward from Young, it's picked up here by Decorah,
he's played in, Dwight McNeil, big chance for Everton!
Off the line, incredibly, by Murillo.
Off the line and the post, I think, subsequently.
What an opportunity for Everton to go in front before half-time.
Biggest chance of the game, Dwight McNeil beat the goalkeeper,
but not the Brazilian defender Murillo on the line.
The cover was excellent from him, you have to say.
McNeil blasted it goalwards, and Murillo flicked it onto the post.
And away, and Forest escape.
How unlucky there for Dwight McNeil.
So close to giving Everton the advantage before half-time.
Despair for Sean Dyche.
Treatment needed for Murillo.
It is half-time, it's not been pretty, for the best part.
It's been a battle all right, but Everton have had the clearest of chances,
and McNeil's effort in the 43rd minute cleared off the line by De Nilo.
And at half-time, the scoreline is blank.
It's Forest nil, Everton nil.
Off Mikalenko, and Bram Thwaites got it away before Pickford got there.
Gibbs-White again, Mikalenko sticking with him.
And it's a Forest corner, and it falls here for a cracker goal.
And off the post, it was Philippe.
The Brazilian defender rattled it goalwards, and off the outside of the post.
Everton have been on top in this second half.
And when you are on top in a game, you need to score.
Beto, fending off Mangala, and he's got the free kick as well.
Pickford to take this one.
Tarkovsky, the target, Bram Thwaites got there.
Mangala heads away, only as far as Harrison.
Harrison brings in Garnier-Gay, gets the return ball,
plays a decent cross in, McNeil picks up, and scores for Everton!
Pretz!
His first of the campaign, and it's a big one all right.
Everton deservedly in front.
Great build-up play, and a fine finish too.
Dwight McNeil drills it home, and Everton do have the lead.
Pickford delivered it to the edge of the box,
or thereabouts in an Everton jersey as well.
Here's Gibbs-White for Forest.
Oh, it's found its way through to Ilanga, brilliant Pickford,
shut him down instantly, to the delight of those fans.
He was at him straight away, wasn't he?
Great work from Pickford.
Murillo, still travelling, and going for goal!
And saved by Pickford!
Pushed away by the Everton goalkeeper, sent back in by Hudson-Rodoy,
headed away by Bram Thwaites.
Forest looking to apply pressure.
Everton defending resolutely.
Everton just need to keep possession now, and the job is done.
To Corey.
Everton have won away from home again, all three points for the Blues.
It's their fourth away win of this campaign.
And it is three away wins on the spin for the first time in almost three years.
Everton have now won seven of their last 11 games in all competitions.
The focus that Sean Dyche insisted upon is certainly there.
And Everton deserve their victory today.
