(Premier League 2023/2024): Highlights Brentford - Newcastle United

Into the penalty area, Ivan Toni! Could be an offside here. And we are still in a state of limbo, we don't know. Now the referee is told that it's offside and the goal will not stand. Into Bruno again, digs out the cross, headed into the top corner! Newcastle United, what could be a valid lead? The box, and Barnes made a good run, connected with it, and the header makes it Brentford nil, Newcastle United won. Barnes on Roeslev, wins it on the touchline, into the box to Isak, who takes a touch, still Isak, played back and deflected, and it's an offside flag up on the far side. Brentford are asleep. They say, yeah, he's offside. Newcastle throw, just behind halfway, nearside, Byrne received it from Hall, oh it's a slip from the defender, Isak gets away, there's another covering player, he's got it in the penalty box, squares it, it's turned in from Isak, converted by Jacob Murphy, who has his third goal of the season, and it's Brentford nil, Newcastle United two. Cousins with a header, Murphy with a tap-in, they lead 2-0, Murphy's won the ball back on the far side, Bruno, on to Alexander Isak! It's a match that they advantage before half-time. Chelsea in sixth, Newcastle still in seventh as it stands, Wisser, oh he's found a team-mate in the net at the second, Newcastle United three. Tony on to Wisser, who's gone away from a couple of defenders, edge of the box, Wisser! Lewis Hall, good feet, this is a great run, Hall tripped under Isak, pushed away, and restore a two-goal cushion. That's it, Newcastle United four.
