We have come now to the next adventure that we are going to do.
We are here in Selvatura.
Apart from the Nuboso Park and all this that we have seen,
there are many activities that can be done here.
And there are several parks, there are a multitude of parks,
where the best known to do in this area is Canopy,
which is what comes to be zip lines.
There is a series of zip lines networks.
There is a series of about 13 zip lines that are increasing in difficulty.
The first ones are to get started,
see a little how they work, more or less.
And then, little by little, they are getting longer and longer.
And the last ones, which are a little more professional.
And ending with the last one, which is special,
because it is one kilometer long.
So it can be quite spectacular.
And we are going to start with that.
It's going to be a little while.
They have already put on the harness, helmet and everything.
Well, we are starting with the first ones.
These are simple, they are shorter.
And they are to learn what the mechanism of the zip line is.
It is already braking up here.
This is starting to get longer.
Look at this.
Tell me.
Now we are with the next, the third.
It's picking up speed.
How beautiful is this, it's all cloudy.
Look how beautiful all this is.
The cloud forest, come on, in fact.
Well, this one touches us together,
to have a little more weight here in the zip line.
So we'll see how it goes.
More romantic.
Well, let's go for the ninth.
A total of 13.
I think there is one that we have skipped.
It will be under repair.
So we'll see how it goes.
The long one, that we have been both, has been 650 meters.
Already quite powerful.
So I don't even want to imagine the one of a kilometer.
But we are going to be there for half an hour to get to the other one.
We are going towards the cloud.
You can't see anything.
My goodness.
The congo is coming.
The problem is, you see that you have to go.
I have one hand on this one.
I'm going to let it go a little.
But if you go with this hand, here,
it slows you down a bit.
But it also redirects you so that you are not moving backwards now.
What's up!
Pura Vida!
Let's go!
This is going fast, huh?
Yes, it's going.
Sit down, please.
Hello, mom.
Name?
Diego.
Greetings, Diego.
Greetings, Pura Vida.
Pura Vida.
Let's go there.
Thank you, Diego.
The people here are wonderful.
What a view!
I'm leaving.
Thank you, Pura Vida.
Well, we have three or four more after this one.
Now, **** it, I've already turned around.
I don't know what to do.
Maximum of 90 kilos.
Just the same.
We have, in principle, two zip-lines left.
The two special ones.
This one is known as Tarzan because it is going to be a free fall.
And it is mandatory to go screaming Tarzan, as they have said.
If they don't cut the cable in the middle of the way.
There may be problems.
I don't know if this can be recorded, so, well, if not, I'll tell you later.
And then there's the long one, the kilometer one.
Ah, well, how cool.
Let's go there.
Any last words to the camera?
May it not be pure death.
Flex your knees.
Cross your legs.
Ah, no.
Close your eyes.
Let's go.
Let's go!
Pura Vida!
How are you, Alex?
All good?
All good.
What's up?
This is brutal.
On top of that, the braking is automatic.
Basically, there is a person braking,
giving little taps,
and, little by little, reducing the speed until they stop you.
But, well, brutal.
Super recommended.
If you come here, don't be afraid.
It's super safe.
They put 200 straps here.
Come on, it's impossible for anything to happen.
And it's super, super fun.
Of course, the most adrenaline-generating thing
so far, of all of them.
I can't see anything!
They're fishing me like crazy.
Well, it's been a good day, hasn't it, Alex?
Totally, yes.
I'm in the mud and in the water.
I have to have a coutin.
We've already finished the zip-line activity.
The last one was the kilometer,
which, well, it was hard to see, as you have already seen.
It's totally, not cloudy anymore,
but it was full of rain,
and it was all over your face.
But very fun.
I've already told you several times.
Highly recommended.
And now, as something calmer, more relaxed,
we took a combined entrance.
In the park where we are now,
we are with the company of Selvatura,
there are different activities,
like the zip-line,
now it also has suspension bridges,
but you can also see an area of amphibians and reptiles,
see the habitat of the lazy ones,
a butterfly,
there are a few things.
So we took the most typical pack,
which is called the Golden Pack,
which is zip-lines plus suspension bridges.
And that's what we're doing now.
There are a total of eight bridges,
which vary in distance between 60 and 160 meters, more or less,
as you go through all this jungle area.
So it's really worth it.
Just for the environment,
it's very similar to what we've visited, for example,
in the cloud forest park this morning or last night.
We are on the longest bridge in the route.
This one is 157 meters long,
and it actually looks quite long.
Look, here at the end,
with the fog,
it's like you can't see the end on both sides.
You know, over there,
Alex is halfway there,
but you can't see the end.
But hey, you can see the views here of the cloud forest.
Cloud forest bar rainy forest.
But very beautiful.
Very, very beautiful.
We are already finishing the tour here
through the suspension bridges,
but I don't know if it's just suspension bridges.
It's just that the nature,
the whole walk is super cool.
It's much more immersive than, for example,
the cloud forest we visited last night and this morning.
For some reason, in general,
the whole environment is amazing.
So if you don't have much time in Monteverde,
I would even tell you
that if you want to see part of nature,
try to look for some wildlife,
which is still going to be very difficult,
and on top of that, have cool experiences, adventures,
then come to a park like this.
I'm not talking about the jungle in particular,
although it's the one we've done,
and it's been perfect.
There are many parks.
We're going to eat,
because I'm starving.
We've only eaten in about 10 hours,
and I'm going to eat a buffalo.
We've come to eat
at one of the most popular restaurants
here in the Monteverde area,
which is the Tree House,
and it's not a man without more marketing
than a restaurant,
but it's because they have a damn tree
in the middle of the restaurant.
There are even animals.
There's a bird out there.
I mean, it's a super original place.
We'll see if the food is up to par.
I think so,
because it has very good ratings
and I don't think it's just the tree.
It's good.
