This Novak Djokovic *RECORD* Against Rafael Nadal Is SCARY!

You like challenges. Are you glad that nobody exists? No. I like challenges, but they're not stupid. It's a great first volley from Djokovic. He's been much the better player so far. Djokovic, impressive start. The season is incredible. Backs up the break. Ruthless. So keeping Nadal guessing. Benz's title. It's a record fourth trophy in Beijing. You know, when you're playing against Novak, if you don't play your 100%, it's impossible. That one. Fortila. Gorgeous. He's missed it. Djokovic does it. On the back edge. And Djokovic. And again. Surprise Nadal. Sensei. Rafael, you like challenges. You've said it many times. Are you glad that nobody exists? No. I like challenges, but they're not stupid. Just too good. It's in. He's got it past him. Unbelievable from Djokovic. Another extraordinary point. It's in. Absolutely glorious from Djokovic. What a volley from Djokovic. That is rubbing salt into Nadal's gaping wound. Knifes the volley away. It's six of the best in Beijing. Fortila. Too good. And he was looking for it there, wasn't he, Djokovic? It's the perfect start. Kind of like that. It's an important shot. Game. Oh, there's that shot again. Oh, just lovely depth. That's an incredible shot. He's doing everything very good, so that's it. He was better than me and he deserved to do what he did during the whole season. He played just fantastic. When somebody's doing like this, the only thing that I can do is congratulate him and just wish him not the best of luck for this year. The final of the ExxonMobil Open here in Doha. Djokovic has never been ahead in their head-to-head, but he will be if he wins this one. Nadal's forehand not doing a lot there. Make all the difference. How early he took that. That's the measure of the confidence he's got. So good. Serves for the set. Game. First set. Game. Djokovic. Again, Djokovic read it. Just wonderful. And there it is. Easy to analyse. I played against a player who did everything perfect. I never saw nobody playing tennis like this, ever. Since I know this sport, I never saw somebody playing at this level. Captivating contest between Djokovic and Nadal. It'll be the sixth time Australian Open champion to begin. Wow. Oh my goodness, you've seen it all now. Game. Djokovic. Made it. First set. Djokovic. He's listening, but immediately Djokovic has the answer. Too good. Game. Djokovic. Another very comfortable hold at least. So good. It's just brilliant. Djokovic at his very best. Nadal gives out lessons on clay. This man, Djokovic, is meeting out a hard-court lesson so far tonight. The whole two weeks. Like that. But then Novak's got the answer to that as well with the new balls. Looking for his third major in a row. 30-11. Back to being as good as he ever was. People were talking about five hours 53, seven years ago. Nadal's fans will be hoping it lasts two hours. What? That's amazing. Djokovic breaks again. No way. Just going from better to better to better. Look at that scoreboard. Djokovic holds again. He's two games away. He's going to invest a lot in this game. Of course he played better than what probably he played during the rest of the tournament. Being honest, I saw him in the tournament more or less. Probably he played the best match so far. And playing that well is so difficult for everybody, for anyone. It's so difficult when he plays that level. It's so difficult to fight for victories against him. History. For Novak Djokovic. He's out on his own. Nadal making his way with his team captain. Behind him, a man that needs zero introduction. Novak Djokovic. Personified team Serbia. And that's why. 30-11. 40-11. 30-11. 40-11. Taking advantage of the wide serve a lot. And that. The record on hard courts is quite one-sided to Novak. Sorry? The record on hard courts is quite one-sided to Novak in the last few years. What's so difficult about playing him in hard compared to other surfaces? Well, he has been the best player in the world on hard the last couple of years. To play against the best player is always difficult. Well, that was the World No. 2 against the World No. 1. But it is Djokovic who emerges as No. 1 as he defeats Nadal on a hard court for a ninth consecutive time.
