hello everyone like everything in life and more so
when we have a 4x4 it is important to
know the capacity of our vehicle
and in my opinion that is achieved through
practical practice with
progressive controlled prudence but practice is very
important The difference
between an all-terrain vehicle and a
road vehicle is more than evident, even if
it is only due to the size of the wheel or
the height, but there are some differences
that are not so easily appreciated. An
all-terrain vehicle is designed for
complicated and difficult irregular terrain that we
generally travel on. to need a lot of
power at low revolutions, the
opposite of a road vehicle
that generally to get a lot of
power we have to rev the
engine to the maximum and that power-
revolution relationship is known as engine torque or
torque in which it gives us an idea of the
capacity of the vehicle. engine to be produced
today I wanted to share with you a
small demonstration in which perhaps
one of the
most classic phrases in the world of 4x4 is put into practice as
slowly as possible and as fast
as necessary
I stopped my 4x4 car right in front
of a good slope of approximately 20 to 25%
because it is
quite uneven terrain our
natural impulse would be to accelerate a car to
be able to go up the hill without having any
kind of problem, but today what
I am going to do is try to go up the
same hill without touching the accelerator or
clutch, in this way we are going to
test the capacity of the engine at idle,
that is, at its minimum
rpm, we are going to see how it has
rained a lot and the ground is very
wet. I am going to put the
gearbox in to prevent the the car
slides and the first short cut we start and
taking our feet off the clutch and the
accelerator
here we go
so that there is no doubt
as I am not touching the frost and
the car always goes perfectly
perfectly with its mission
as you have checked the vehicle does not
It needs to be revved at full throttle
to fulfill its purpose.
You can do this same test with your
own car
in this way you will know well the
capacity of this new our vehicle,
but without getting out of the car, they
simply did it for a
demonstration because I am in a area
with enough safety there is no
danger of any kind and always remember as
slowly as possible and as quickly
as necessary see you soon
