what is up everybody it's a bris day
here in Niagara Ontario and today I have
the special guest the 2024 Nissan Versa
say hi to the people of Nissan
Versa let's check everything out to help
you determine if this is the right car
for you 0 to 60 in 10.4 seconds let's
go
holy so this one has a 1.6 L 4 cylinder
engine it's going to give you about 122
horsepower and 114 lb feet of torque and
that's attached to a CVT transmission
this one has an MSRP of
2463 this being the SV package it is
right in the middle um there's an S
below this and an Sr above this but
let's start with the front now this
front one is going to come with your vo
motion Grill which they've kind of
widened out here and I've noticed Nissan
kind of going this route they have the
Chrome accents right on the front grill
we have our flattened out Nissan Emblem
and it is kind of a smaller nose there
that you can see the nose is very small
we have our H hallogen headlights and
our fog lights down below which is
interesting cuz they removed the fog
lights from the Nissan Sentra now let's
be honest you ain't buying this for the
power plan you ain't buying this for the
acceleration you are buying this for the
fuel economy
6.7 L per every 100 km can buy between
the city and the highway and that's
about 35 MPG so that's what everybody
loves about this car checking out the
rims so this one is going to come with
front disc brakes and rear drum brakes
and this being the SV you get these 19in
aluminum alloy rims there is a sport
mode on it if you just want a little bit
more acceleration but you can hear that
CVT um grown especially on a cold day
like today however there's a ton of
value in this car if you're looking to
spend the least money possible I would
suggest looking at the S models but this
one comes with all the Nissan Suite of
safety features you have automatic
headlights you have a blind spot monitor
you also have your Ford emergency
braking as well and it will also come
with things like a 7in touchscreen
display backup camera this one being the
SV you also get the advanced Drive
Assist display right behind the wheel
here which will show your tachometer
digitally and and things like all your
radio controls your odometer and your
speedometer those type of things so
there's a lot to love in this little car
couple things to check out on the rear
of the Versa obviously we have our Versa
badging and here are our parking sensors
that you can see that's going to help
you when parking and there's also a
backup camera um right below there you
can see the backup
camera one of my favorite things that I
love that Nissan did here is they added
this blue accent to the interior in the
previous models that I reviewed in the
past those were white and it was an ugly
hideous white that showed its wear over
time so great choice by Nissan going
with the blue now you might be
wondering wh why should I choose this
one versus the Sentra or um what is this
the Sentra have that makes it worth the
price what I find when I'm driving the
Versa is it is a obviously a little
smaller than that Nissan Sentra this one
just has a lot of hard surfaces all the
surfaces are hard I mentioned this in my
other review of the Sentra um so that
might be just a bigger a way to justify
you spending more money for the Sentra
and obviously the Sentra comes with a
bigger engine if your value here is fuel
efficiency this is what you're going to
get a perfect a andb car now it does
come with a decently large trunk there
it's going to have 15 cubic feet of
cargo storage capacity there's your
carpeted mat so really your like one and
a half dead bodies in the back there it
does have a handful of Creature Comforts
Nissan zero gravity seats and they are
heated seats you have digital
temperature control and funny thing is
is there's a wireless charger right in
the center stack here so that's super
interesting there's a wireless charger
so you can charge your phone while you
drive and that pops on automatically and
there's a USB and auxiliary input if you
want to charge your phone um through the
cord right so that's a wrap on your
video my friends comment what you guys
