Is Dan Webz Actually any Good at Skateboarding?

what's up and welcome skaters as you guys know I've done a few critiques of other skateboarders on my channel in the past month but what I'm going to do today is I'm going to go through my own clips that I've compiled that I filmed in the few months before I had my injury right my foot is almost better but we're going to go over these clips I'm going to give you a bit of backstory and let you know my plans for skateboarding 2024 with all that being said let's get straight into it right my friends here we are at the clip station now the we're going to go through these clips now we're going to go through these clips one by one and I'm going to do a little bit of a critique and talk to you about my skateboarding and how I think I can improve and what my plans are in the fure future so let's get straight into it the first clip I've got here is a hard flip to rock fakey now a hard flip to rock fakey isn't a trick that you'd see very common I just thought screw it I wanted to learn something new to rock fakey so I went for this this literally happened 5 minutes before the skate park was about to close so I got super lucky on this one and I'm pretty happy with it cuz I managed to catch the hard flip like a good 2T above the coping 2024 I'm planning to film a street part but I'll talk more about that in a bit second clip is a nice tray flip over the box so the next few Clips are tray flips I believe so this one's a Tre flip over the Box this box is actually quite long like that's like a 6ft Gap in the middle there so to get the speed to hit the TR flip over it was actually quite difficult although the landing as you can see here like one of my wheels almost clipped it was literally like pixel it was like pixels away from not counting but anyway next one tra it down the ball Gap and there's a second angle of it too I think that one's decent I didn't get too much of a good catch on that like you can see that when I catch it my feet aren't really flat to the board and I don't know what that back arm's doing that is like throwing the four finger discount right there yeah boy I was quite happy with that tray and this one one of my personal favorites this is a my first ever blunt kick flip so I learned this one at the latter half of the year and I'm actually pretty happy with it because while I didn't pop massively off the coping managed to get quite a clean roll away run it back one more time there we go okay next we have okay so that's a backside 180 onto a little like DIY ledge thing in the middle of two ramps and then we did a fakey big spin flip off the back I didn't expect to land that one when I first started trying it I thought I was being a bit too courageous but that one came through quite quickly next we have the backside double flip over the hip at my local now the this one was actually second try however as you can see here I don't really get a catch on the board which which is kind of the problem with double flips right so like when I catch it the board is pretty much already well the board has already hit the floor so not really too great on that one got my first half flip down the stairs little backside double flip it adrenaline alley you'll notice from this video that I tend to do a lot of double flip variations it's just cuz I can do a double flip much better than I can do a single kick flip in most cases although the backside double flips are coming on and as you can see right there straight in with the next clip try double flip this is at Macar and Barcelona quite happy with that Landing now we're at selfes in the ball oh and the same thing again in a different Bowl also in London so these like half C blunt 180s are actually way easier than they look so if you've got blunt give it a go okay we got a little line here back 270 over the hip o the Gap the worst one your front tail you've ever seen and I think it's a SK oh it's a fairly decent front flip what we got next little tra over the hip not bad not bad at all okay so this is a street spot in Barcelona as well here it's just basically like a medium steep bank that you can do tricks on the big SP flip didn't take too long on that one double flip the pole bide down the hand rail my biggest weakness at the minute is definitely hand rails and grind tricks I think for 2024 I'm going to focus a lot on learning that kind of skateboarding that is really where the Gap in my tricks are oh this is this bit's terrible absolutely disgusting I don't know what possessed me here to try this freaking I go up do a tray flip to fakey and then kick flip on my way back down and it looks disgusting hate that one okay we got Ollie the Box Trace up up the Euro Gap a sketchy ass B slide over the top r ride on 50/50 okay I'm I'll let this one play out okay we got the manual kicks up there but I'm going to let you guys in on a little secret here I'm going to expose myself to the gang right you ready watch this you can't really see it but you can feel it that's for sure so here just before I go to pop that wheel on the right touches that little stick in the floor and then boom so sadly that one doesn't count all right this is when I was in my old school board era I was skating this little like seven I think it was like an 8 in fish board no it was a 9 in fish W but it was super short that's it so the first trick I did with it was this double flip over the A-frame and there's a bunch more tricks on this board coming up soon where abouts are they the worst back one 0 ever okay they're coming up in a minute we got a double flip Manny on the ledge there as well I'm pretty sure if I'm not wrong I think my double flip might have tapped on this one let's say let's let's go in depth frame by frame I don't know I don't think my wheels touched on that one you guys can maybe slow that down let me know [Music] officially okay what we got next a this is one of my personal favorites of the year right this is my first ever manual try flip had to mute it cuz I was voice over in this clip in the background yeah we go got little Trace down the stairs that was also first try as well which is quite rare for me on stair sets I know it's not street but still it's not bad okay here we got a clip from earlier in the year as well this is like mid year I think I think I treay flip up the Euro Gap and then kick flip off the edge sketchy tray flip kick flip was clean though oh back in with a double tray okay here we are with the A-frame Clips these are some of my favorite clips that I filmed and it's just literally Holly standing at the top of the ramp and being messing about so we didn't really plan any of these tricks this is all like one or two different lines all these different ones so let's go so kick flip Manny down the ramp little full cab although I did rotate on the floor a lot of bit while one of my personal favorites here is the is the um is the backside flip you see where we get the the nice back foot catch with the front foot off we'll play that back one more time in full speed because I enjoy this one fake Yi nice tra little big spin on the ramp and then I think it's hard flip and a hard flip next oh a fakey big spin flip next and then a hard flip yeah I really like that board and that's the end of that all right so the plans for 2024 my plan is to go to Amsterdam in February and start filming for my street part I know you guys keep saying to be webs we need to see a street part so that's what I'm going to do that's my 2024 goal put my first ever Street part out starting in Amsterdam and just traveling around Europe and I'll probably come to La later in the year as well so if you're in La maybe we can meet up and get some clips together anyway thanks for watching guys
