Christie's, Sotheby's to auction multimillion-dollar diamonds, gemstones in Geneva

Eye-popping gemstones with eye-watering prices are up for grabs at Christie's and Sotheby's two-day binge of jewellery auctions in Geneva. Going under the hammer at Christie's is a seven-carat rectangular cut blue diamond, expected to fetch between US$10 million and US$14 million. Meanwhile, as part of its Magnificent Jewels and Noble Jewels collection, Sotheby's will present a massive 78.29-carat pear-shaped diamond for sale on Nov 13. #Antique
