hi welcome back to pretty hair is fun um
I know I haven't been on this channel in
the last little while and I wanted to
tell you a little bit about why and that
has all to do with this tag right here
on my chest right now I am a set aart
missionary for the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints and I have
been called to serve in the Arkansas
Little Rock Mission and what does a
mission mean what does it mean that I'm
a set aart missionary as a missionary my
purpose is to invite others to come unto
Christ by helping them receive the
restored gospel through faith in Jesus
Christ and his atonement repentance
baptism receiving the gift of the Holy
Ghost and enduring to the end I have the
incredible opportunity to set aside 18
months of my life to live in the areas
between Mississippi Tennessee Arkansas
and Alabama sharing my testimony of this
restored gospel and of My Savior Jesus
Christ I get the opportunity to testify
of the truthfulness of the Book of
Mormon another Testament of Jesus Christ
I get to share how this gospel has
blessed me and help others see the
incredible influence that I can have in
their lives I am so grateful for the
opportunity that I have had to be able
to testify of these restored truths to
help others understand that they can
spend eternity with their families and
to be able to help others make and keep
sacred covenants with our heavenly
father I have spent the last 9 months
doing this and I've gotten to meet
incredible people in Jackson Tennessee
Oxford Mississippi and now in Florence
Alabama and I'm so grateful for each of
the relationships that I've built and I
look forward to the relationships I get
to continue to
build I wanted to share with you um a
scripture from The Book of Mormon that
other Testament of Jesus Christ This is
a sacred record of the inhabitants of
the ancient Americas um after Jesus
Christ was crucified and resurrected
before he returned to his father he came
to the America and he appeared to the
people known as the
Nephites and he shared with them his
gospel This Book of Mormon is a record
of those encounters encounters and of
those people and I wanted to share a
scripture with you to me this is what I
am right now this is my purpose as a
missionary this scripture comes from
third Nephi chapter f chapter 5 excuse
me verse 13
and it says behold I am a disciple of
Jesus Christ the son of God I have been
called of him to declare his word among
his people that they might have
everlasting
life that is why I'm setting aside 18
months of my life to do this because I
have been called to share the
Everlasting gospel with the other
children of
God and if you have questions or if you
want to know more about the Church of
Jesus Christ of latterday saints and
about how Jesus Christ in his restored
gospel can bless you how the Book of
Mormon can answer the questions that
your soul
has please go to come unto christ.org or
reach out here and we will help you get
in contact with missionaries near you
missionaries like me who have left their
life behind to share this glad message I
love you all so much and I'm so grateful
for the influence that you have had in
my life and I hope that you can be able
to feel of the truthfulness of what I'm
doing
and know that that this is important
that this gospel is Jesus Christ's
restored church that this is his New
Testament Church restored upon the Earth
in its fullness and I bear that
testimony to you in the name of Jesus
Christ amen
