When I stay in Lucerne, I am usually here. Can you read it? Not really. This is
Montone Art Deco Hotel Lucerne. Very nice hotel. And I show you now the room.
Rasta, let's go and search for our room.
We're gonna take this one maybe. Ah, looks good.
We need some light.
Hello room. It's nice, isn't it? Yeah, they renovated most of the hotel rooms.
Ah, Rasta, they have something for you maybe. At least something to put in food.
That's a good sign. This is the bathroom. Rasta, you're gonna check it out. With toilet,
hopefully. With me, yeah. Yes, TV and I guess a balcony. Gonna check it out.
You see, this is our balcony and this is the view we have.
And today our goal is to check the Christmas market in Lucerne.
This hotel has an own elevator that brings you down to the street going to Lucerne.
And I'm waiting for it now. This is now my elevator which is bringing me down
to Lucerne in about two minutes. And I have to mute the music. There was elevator music,
so I put on my own elevator music. So if you drunk too much at the Christmas market,
you will find the way back.
Yeah, there is Christmas decoration everywhere. Yeah, a nice little Santa Claus. Well,
it's not a little one, it's a big one. I'm a little bit scared. Yeah, some of the hotels have
some fires outside. It's very cozy. You maybe ask where Rasta is, but you know it probably.
Village stuff and city stuff is nothing for Rasta. So he's staying at the hotel. Yeah,
he got a lot of food, so he will be happy there. It is about 20 minutes from the hotel
to walk to the first Christmas market. I heard there are three of them. Yeah,
one is a new one and the other two are usually there. This is an old steamboat
and they use it as a restaurant. I've never been in. Check it out.
I should do this once. You can eat something there. What do they have? Let me check.
Four spice and winter salad. Yeah, sounds good. Maybe next time.
This is a nice decorated ship. Wow. I should go more to Lucerne by night.
Looks amazing. Or by Christmas. Or both. I don't know if you recognize, but I am a huge Christmas
fan and I am obsessed about Christmas lights. Yeah, even though we have energy problems in
Switzerland, but when I see Christmas light, I'm gone, you know. Yeah. But these are clever guys.
The lights here are made with solar energy.
Yeah, this is a winter edition. I bought this
a few years ago and I guess now it's the right time to wear it. How does it look like?
It's so peaceful.
It was so peaceful and now this is the contrast program.
Now it's holly golly and people are drinking and having party
with a lot of Christmas lights. Crazy. Two worlds. Wow, I'm still touched
about the singing people over there. Singing for peace. Wow, crazy intense.
This is like a hobbit entry.
Hey, so schön. So well done. Look at them all. Yes. A lot of things like this, you know.
I want to have one at home.
There are so less people comparing to Brienz. Crazy. I love this psychedelic
things. You don't need any drugs when you look at this. Crazy nice.
What do you need to do when you are in a Christmas market? You need to drink.
We wait for the next one. You need to drink the blue wine.
We did not eat dinner because on the Christmas market you can buy everything unhealthy.
So you don't need to eat dinner, you know. You just can eat everything here.
Like Lebkuchen for example.
Or what's this? Hasselnussfladen.
Yeah. After this you have two kilos more on your hip.
So we first drink now a Glühwein. Cheers.
Don't drink too much Glühwein because it goes immediately into your head.
So before we drink more Glühwein, we need to eat something. And you can choose between
Currywurst and, I don't know, Spaghetti and whatever. Fondue, Raclette. You also can eat
Flammbrot. This is not typically Swiss, but it's good.
This is our dinner now. Christmas markets are Moroni. Heiße Moroni. Yeah, I don't like them,
but their smell. I love the smell of Moroni.
Yeah.
