Extinction A.D. - BUS INVADERS Ep. 1192

you hey what's up guys this is Rick from extinction ad we're currently on tour with havoc and export is day one when Chicago here's a look at our van we'd never had a name for this van until Sunday we bought a toy that we thought was great and also put in with GMC it was gigantic mechanical Cthulhu so here we are in the driver's seat this is where I spend most of my times I do most of the driving because I'm a complete control freak which also means I usually control music which is now on this iPhone which for the first time since I've had an iPhone I finally put music on instead of using an iPod because I keep dropping it running over doing all sorts of there so it does not work so when we're driving when I'm driving I have a bit of an OCD problem with chronology so I'll make playlist with full bands discographies in order of which I'll painstakingly make sure I get all the singles and movie soundtracks and stuff and I'm like the biggest Metallica mark in the world so we'll do that entire thing starting from metal massacre all the way to what they just did and all the demos and so we want to listening to you know power metal no life to leather and comb also we're listening to the same three times in a row on the off-chance on not driving and scuzz the drummer drives i'll pay zero attention to what he's playing because i don't have the same musical tastes even a little bit passenger wise we have different sometimes we have ryan our merch guy the real range bro very famous in the front so when he's here sometimes will go a little new metal she's new metal free girl with sense of some wrestling entrance music because that's because i'm a freak for that - we got Ian in here we'll lean more towards the metal side he's always clutching this giant pillow which blocks the entire speaker and I'm super annoying because I can't hear what's coming at the right speaker and he knows it and he loves to bugger with it if Pete's there he does he's the most he's your typical bass player personality where he's altra team player and anything he just indulges me so I'm gonna put you know five hours I'm Metallica on let's do it hey let's so foolish so nothing but Pantera yeah let's do it so the middle console and then right now we have an empty monster rehab which is my go to a second go to sugar-free Red Bull in was trying out the new Lyme Ryan who's right here as a rockstar freak and by freak I mean he will do about like five or six a day which is absolutely crazy and so see in the middle also here we have all our workout supplements branch chains four skies protein for in the right more rhymes routine this is my go-to protein you can get in here we got a ton more Red Bull alright here we are the side of the van right here we got the first bench normally this is where Pete and Ryan sit Pete's almost always in this back corner over here Ryan's usually here and this all it's Ian is in the front or dependent Cruiser back here second bench this is where scuzz usually is he's usually like the alternate driver so I'll try if we have night drives he'll always do the night drives I'll do the day drives so I'm the off-chance usually hangs back here and get some sleep if he's needed if he's driving at night I'll hang back here I've had this pillow case since 1990 we only have two benches because we don't use the trailer because driving with the trailers paying the especially in the snow and then we're also cheap poor bastard so we fit right now we have just the dance right now well we fit our entire everything in this where the normally just two other benches is we have a full backline 5 piece drum kit 8 by 10 bass cab 2 4 by 12 guitar calves two guitar heads five guitars a boat three boxes a merch way way way too much stuff we had Tetris masters apparently like I said here we got the back of the van it's all decks right now but I'm throwing away the space of two benches we're gonna fit a whole backline as I said we've become a bit of tetris master as where I can fit eight by ten face time in it face down all the way the back hardware drum hardware on top a baby's head on the floor next to it three pedal boards across to guitar calves full drum kit two heads on the guitar calves we have the last drum is right here we have the merge and the boat and then the five guitars fit just perfectly on top window form to fit our more tracks which just don't hit whoever's in that venture head in the back it's a crazy pack and we think it works out which is really so thank guys very much for checking out the extinction ad van check us out on Instagram Facebook Twitter everything was just at extinction ad check out faith killer our record that came out in 2015 we're working on new record now hopefully we'll have it out by the spring or the summer or whatever the happens but stay tuned on the Internet check us out hopefully see on this tour
