the good member from the 18th
legislative district representative mlto
thank you Mr Speaker um I'm going to
urge a no vote on this bill um my couple
of concerns for me are um the opt out I
would prefer an
optin um uh Amendment on this or an
option on this and then also I I have
previous I worked in human resources for
10 years did recruiting onboarding and
the amount of paperwork that goes into
um onboarding employees is quite
extensive and we continue to put more
and more burden on our small businesses
um the business owners that not don't
always have an HR person um that can
facilitate those uh new employees and
this is just another another burden when
you can walk into a bank and open an IRA
account I think the education piece is
um I really like that part uh because I
think that people need to be educated on
these options uh but I don't think that
having employers um facilitate this is
is the solution so I encourage a no vote
thank
you
