BEST DAY EVER At Universal Studios Singapore

You probably know about Universal Studios because they're some of the biggest theme park in the entire world but did you know that Singapore has one well and if you know anything about my husband you know that he is a child and loves everything theme park related that's very true so welcome to Universal Singapore So when you come to the Theme Park first you take your photo with the globe and then you can go in Elmo just said that the park is now open so let's go in line I'm so excited we just made in the park and I'm not going to lie like I know everyone rushes to the rides and I know logistically if you're here all the time you should rush to like the highest weight time ride I love taking my time and walking down like whatever is it called Main Street in the Universal yeah this is kind of the Main Street like it's very like uh film inspired like it looks like Hollywood basically it's super cool this is where like you have a little a few restaurants and a lot of gift shops one just for minions but personally me it's killing me not to uh run to a ride right now telling me not to go on the show okay let's go! [Music] if you ever want to come to Universal Singapore just just wait towards the end of 2024 because they're opening minion land I'm so sad we're missing it so we are now in like Shrek land I would call it like that probably and the massive Castle there as much as it's super impressive and you think that there's going to be the best ride ever in there it's just uh it's just Shrek 4D and if you've been on it in other team parks around the wild it's okay at best so the first ride is going to be a puss in boots the giant Journey I've heard about this ride it looks really fun and Ted and it's a good starter for Tracey cuz she's a little bit scared about rides in general this is a 5 minute wait which means walk on You gotta dance fun ride you uh you missed the part there was one little drop when my stomach went a little woo and I couldn't help Tracey is not a big fan of roller coasters but that's Tracey can of roller coaster it's very it's very well done it's very smooth it's very nice fun for the entire family it's so fitting in Shrek land isn't it next up the enchanted Airways this is also a Tracey roller coaster does it sound weird that I'm a little scared oh no I don't like [Music] so we just made it to the Sesame Street side and for some obscure reason there's the longest ride ever for the bakery I just found my first treat oh the Cookie Monster shop what do you want [Music] I got a monster cookie and it's filled I know it has a fork but I need to break it open to see the inside oh my goodness look at that good stuff it's really good it's really good and it better be because it's $7 just made it the Transformer if you've ever been to any Universal Studios park this is one of the best ride it is so good we're definitely going on that but in the meantime I heard that the Transformers themselves are meeting greeting somewhere here Autobots roll out people of earth I am Optimus Prime leader of the Autobots we have received word that Megatron seeks the allart so he and gain control of your world Tracey did you see that that was the real Optimus Prime and he's here to save the planet he was pretty cool there's no way I can buy your outfit right ah you have the best outfit one has [Music] new outfit much more fitting for the rest of the day uh yeah that's one thing we don't we have tons of Disney outfits but no Universal but now we do so we're good worldwide already have on the platform I mean to me it's a no-brainer so up next we're going on like the Steven Spielberg kind of behind the scene special effect Studio it's super cool like these Studio Theme Park are the best because of these specific experiences I'm not sure how much I'm going to be able to film inside but it's like light effect and they show you how they make fire and fake tornadoes and all that crazy stuff I really like it hello I'm Steven Spielberg and [Music] this this sound stage and when you're about to enter are just about the most incredible places on the planet so we're going into the main Sound Stage and basically like they're going to simulate a level five hurricane in the middle of New York City that was so cool I'm wet yeah we're a little wet that was a super cool ride well it's not really a ride it's more show but like the fire the rain effect the wind the explosions the ship at the end it was super cool Tracey were you scared so scared okay up to the next ride and it's raining so in the meantime I think we're going to go in a little indoor ride so we're going on Sesame Street spaghetti space ride which is like a fun little dark ride but like the posted time outside is 80 minutes we just enter we've been in the line for like 2 minutes the loading station is right there so I think we're going on a crazy ride inside this building I think no look it just turns right there oh no it has to be longer than that it says 80 minutes outside we've been in this line for 6 minutes I need remember earlier when we're wondering about this crazy line in front of like the Sesame Street bakery or restaurant or something well it's not that it's a fake Bakery and it's just the line for the SSS Sesame the spaghetti Space Race SSS Tracey let's go find the miss spaghetti there go all system check good luck the heroes are to save the spaghetti go hero go looking good save that spaghetti going to space I have everything under control and it's coming through a oil a let's twirl that pasta back to Earth yay bird that was a cute dark ride but I did not understand the storyline it was just spaghetti everywhere and Elmo is there and he seemed very happy to have some spaghetti back also for the first time since we arrived finally this ride ends up in a gift shop which the other one didn't surprisingly also even though they were showing an 80 minute wait time it only took about 50 55 minutes so that's pretty good and now well it's lunchtime meaning it's Pizza [Music] Time here's my first and maybe my only complaint is the day they're not very efficient at loading rides and at restaurants like we've waited 25 minutes to order two slices of pizza because they only have two cashier for a line that literally goes out the door [Music] it's pretty good apart from the pineapple that does not belong on pizza so we had this special like Chinese New Year Pizza combo and it was average at best like you know theme park okay I think the other Pizza would have been good but this one I just think they tried to put too many flavors together yeah the description look good but taste like it was okay the chocolate cake wasn't good and then just as we got out of the pizza place his majesty King Julian the first [Music] so we just arrived for a show called water world it's a show that Universal has in different of their park around the world and according to me it is the best theme park show not just Universal but all theme park together is the best theme park show you can get it is incredible with the the fire effects the plane jumping the fire the loud music the water like it is insane so get ready! [Music] it's such a good show the quality of that show is truly impressive and the most impressive thing is that they're doing this three times a day every day that's crazy like great performance great like special effects and stuff and like I've seen this show probably like I don't know four or five times and every time I'm like impress so next up to Mummy and I'm not going to lie I'm stressed let's see Tracey doesn't like big roller coaster but this one as much as it looks like a big building it's like half a dark ride there's no like big drops or anything like that and it's a apparently the best version of this attraction in the entire world so I'm super excited about it Tracey is having second thoughts this is not fun she doesn't want me to Vlog right now she's mad don't be mad I love you so much you so we'll see if she comes she doesn't have to you don't have to Mummy ride review and spoiler alert Tracey did not come with me last minute she changed her mind but it's a cool like dark high-speed roller coaster with fire effects and things like that I enjoy it High five Kevin Welcome to Jurassic Park [Music] so the Jurassic Park Land has like three different rides one just spinning Ride Like That which is more for kids one suspended roller coaster which Tracey agreed to do and then one uh river rapid ride that is probably going to make us super wet so we're going to wait a little bit later do that one If you can't tell by the sweat that's coating my face it is so hot and humid today so we were just in the Sun for a bit and I was like I'm dying so got something um nice and refreshing so good [Music] how was it a little short as much as that the little suspended roller coaster is a little fun it's definitely not worth the wait if it's like over 20 minutes the ride is like less than a minute yeah it's cool it gives you a good view and stuff but over 20 minutes just skip that one yeah look who we found the Minions in their special Chinese New Year outfit the Minions were very generous with us because there's quite a long line if you want to actually like go take a photo with them but in between photos they were turning to the side and like posing for me so Cheers to the Minions [Music] up next treasure hunters which is just like a smooth little car ride on a track themed to The Mummy I think we'll see hopefully it's not going to be as long as it says outside 45 minutes cuz we really have like three rides that we really want to do still but we truly have 2 hours left and all of them are about 45 to 65 minutes so we shall see got to buckle up cuz it's a high speed ride [Music] well that was not 45 minutes nor exciting but if you have kids and good now Transformers that's exciting woo Tracey's caffeine level is very low so I got to drag her a little bit come Tracey come it's fun [Music] Tracey know this looked like a normal Chevy Camaro but it's actually a Transformer he's called Bumblebee shocking so apart from maybe rise of the resistance uh in Disney World in Orlando Transformer might be the ultimate best ride of all time Tracey are you excited about Transformers the only answer is yes very it's a high five oh it's a high five sorry this was literally like 90 minutes to 100 minutes the entire day and now 15 because the park closes in an hour and a half so pro tip will I mean General commanding and destroying every last Decepticon on Earth I'm running low on WD40 so this ride is a trackless dark ride with massive 3d screens so you need these and all mixed together it's quite an adventure hey I love it I love it Tracey do you love it you love yeah this one actually it's pretty good so no big deal we just saved the world once again as Freedom Fighters with Optimus Prime so Transformers honestly like across all parks I say it's like one of the best rides yeah it's really really good Universal guys yeah and now we got one more ride the one that we kept for last because it's a river ride and we've seen some people being really wet and I didn't want to be wet all day we've seen this ride around a long time and we've never gone on it because of being drenched but the weather is perfect and people are saying it's a really good ride so and we like Jurassic Park so got to go on it when they force you to put all your stuff in the locker you know that it's either very intense or you're going to get wet ready to get wet yeah I don't know no I'm just going with the like anticipation that I'm going to get done yeah it just is what it it's like you know like the rides are just like Circle boat so some people on one side are always more wet than the other one you show them the dryer no okay we'll show you something at the end literally me Tracey and one other guy got super wet out of nine people we are the three most wet oh yeah it's freezing in here now people get so soaked that they have drying pods you can pay and basically stand in like a body hair dryer for your body which here's me I'm pretty wet too as you notice though they did not let me film in this one as soon as like uuuh we jumped into the right they were like no filming no photography I was like but it was probably one of the best right in the park like super well themed really fun at the end you like go into an elevator and then they drop you and then there's a T-Rex and stuff it was really really well done I'm a big fan and normally I don't really like these kind of water ride but I'm just a good amount of wet right I think it's a weather I'm I'm pretty soaked if you have wet jeans it okay fair enough it's it's the perfect country to have a ride that makes you wet cuz it's pretty much always warm and humid so um so the one thing we are noticing with this park so most uh theme parks when they say they're closing at 8:00 it means like you have until 8:00 to like get onto a ride they're actually like pushing people out yeah like most restaurants and everything are already closed 7:15 and like that ride is closed now so I'm just just something to keep in mind we're cuz we're used like parks like Disney if it closes at like for example 9:00 p.m. if you're starting a Queue at 8:59 they'll let you in but not here so just something to keep in mind if you are coming overall we did pretty much everything we want everything we wanted to do now it's time to buy some souvenir more souvenirs [Music] fun fun day so fun just outside of universal just like in most universal in Disney there's kind of like a little fake downtown area around it with like a lot of stores like the Hershey store and they also have the biggest food truck Court in Singapore which we are right now looking for supper I think we're going at pizza again cuz we love pizza this is like the weirdest thing ever because the park closes at 8:00 and everything else seems to be closing at 8:00 too so all these people are missing on like thousands of people leaving the park like it's it's 7:45 and we came out to have supper and everything's closed yeah like the girl is like no no more pizza the burger guy is like shutting down his window too I'm like okay so we're going to find another option can we eat [Music] Legos they just packed us in a monorail like it's insanely packed I can't move and we can breath again so Universal it was great I think it was a lot of fun my only yes that's for sure my only complaint is like so this spark is actually not managed by Universal it's actually a license from the same company that has the casino and everything on that island and I felt like you could see a little difference so the two main things that stick out to me is maybe it's just an American thing but I love having like all these different foods in the different the themed food like minion popsicles and things like that the only thing we did see was a Shrek waffle oh yeah okay and my monster cookie so that part of it and then the other part is I feel like we're missing out on a lot of money because of the whole closing it actually closes which is really weird too and that's that's our fault too because we didn't realize that so we were expecting you w and have food all and my final negative point they're not very good at loading and offloading people that was so long guys so long for absolutely no reason so there's that and on the positives lots of good ride very well themed um people were very nice I don't think the only place that has Puss in boots it's a very nice roller coaster but otherwise like the classic like uh Transformer was fantastic and I think my personal favorite of today was actually the Jurassic Park one that was very very nice the only one that I wasn't able to fill it's definitely a park that you can do within a day so if without necessarily getting the fast pass to yeah you here for a layover love the parks go for it so anyway time to go to bed because ours day start bright and early tomorrow once again so until next time see you guys in the next one!
