Universal Studios Fun at Christmas Time!! - Magical Mondays #126

morning guys this is Jenna with resort tv1 and today we're here at Universal Studios actually on the islands of adventure anything oh and we got here early well kind of really not really enough because we want to try to ride hackers for the very first time never ridden it before but wanted to do this for a while so I can't wait I hope it's not too long but cross your fingers that we get on it hope you guys enjoy the video [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] there's a decent line in front of us bunch of people we're all going to the same place sorry if it's bumpy we're walking fast you're walking fast again sorry for the bumpiness well way back here here in line your progress it is moving a little bit but don't know what the wait time is yet 8:56 right now so we're not even in Harry Potter land yet like I like to come well they come with ozone we have a line ago Phil not in the land all right we're getting close there's the entrance to Hogsmeade is the train station here we go I wonder if I'll have to get lockers that might be part of this holdup we'll find out universal likes to do lockers they don't like to let you have items on most of the rides so we'll see [Music] [Music] so it is a 90-minute wait we'll see if that's true looks like you have to put your things in lockers yes they are making you do that all right so I don't know if I'll be able to bring my camera and later we'll find out so yes they are leaving us right into the locker area we're gonna have to get rid of our bag we my cameras I got me alright so we just got off Hagrid's it took a little over an hour so not bad actually now it's 150 minutes so Wow but oh my goodness was that insane Wow you don't want to give any spoilers away that was intense like sweet or intense and amazing and definitely worth an hour away or more I wish I could bring my camera on there but I literally probably would have dropped it like wow that was crazy crazy amazing so now we're gonna take the train over to the other side because we saw Gringotts wasn't very long so we got to figure out how to get over there this is the line for Hagrid's I bet if we can go around this way let's try it so the train is only a 10-minute wait let's do it I love the Train [Music] it's not busy here at all I think everybody is literally in line for Hagrid's so the ten minutes I think is just to walk back there because they have us on loop-d-loop around and around [Music] bring on the train [Music] I mean as in fire [Music] tickling Charms guys related little tip for you guys this station Kings Cross station is breezy so in the summer it's a great place to cool off in the winter you want to have your coats on all right let's go into diagonally secret passageway [Music] and we're here not too busy grayza Hagrid [Music] hoping to get on grim nuts it was 15 minutes while we were over on the other side but still 15 minutes yay let's go gotta get a locker again so if you cannot if you can not bring any bags this would be the part to not bring next bring that with a 15 minute wait we literally walked right on it 50 minutes that's all we waited and men in black and EG i wish i could film some of these rides for you guys i'm hoping i can film ET le but they always make you put your bags away and in your hand my pockets are not big enough for cameras don't fun day is so cool they have it nicely decorated for Christmas [Music] [Music] if you look up here criminal place Grimbold Rimmer old place I say that wrong but there is creature [Music] Sirius Black's flat I think is what I call it what you can tell it's this one because it's dirty because it shrinks back in there if you've ever seen the movies it they need it it opens up and when they don't it goes back in it's just kind of cool for many blacks and this one is similar to buzz like here where you shoot the aliens but you actually can take the gun out of like the thing so you can move it around easier so I'm better at this one than a minute bar then I'm better I'm in a black pen buzz lightyear [Music] [Applause] and see rip riding a rocket way over there and this is another one where you have to get rid of your bag so so the lockers we go again now et they let you bring your back so good - bring it on et alright men in black with a lot of fun I think I beat mom but I'm not sure yet I didn't get the red button push that's what she got a duty at the high high score so I didn't get in time cuz it like something happened with the vehicle something was going wrong but I didn't get it I know right but that's alright we still have fun and now we're heading through the Simpson area we're gonna head over to ET welcome by here and they have the Back to the Future DeLorean used to have the Back to the Future right earlier now it's the Simpsons right and they have the Back to the Future terrain that was him Back to the Future to read not very busy back here we have spongebob store pants over there Owen look there meet and greeting in there there's spongebob and I'm not sure who that is but I can see him yeah I even at me yeah I never watched Omer I go see him but I I don't know much about him a tee time I love this ride one of my favorites here at Universal we're in the forest you can't really be on the line thirty minutes I don't think it'll be that long [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so much fun I don't think it was 30 minutes maybe 20 at the most and hopefully you guys got to enjoy some of that we didn't have some younger kids behind us making some noise but hopefully you enjoyed it the fun ride we loved that one and now we're gonna go try to find lunch [Music] they have one of the floats that they have in their Macy's parade and I'm going to be live-streaming that so stay tuned for that oh here comes some more oh these are the guys from the money so it's pretty cool for photo ops [Music] all right I think we're gonna head into Mel's drive-in and see what they have to eat usually eat at the Harry Potter at restaurants so this will be fun to see what they have a regular diner burger chicken we decided on chicken fingers because they're different than Disney's that we give him a try with fries and we're gonna share this because Starbucks is going to be later for sure and probably dessert somewhere with Homer Simpson's RV over there I saw him our minute ago kind of a cool view here sitting here at the outside see cuz it's beautiful out [Music] cats [Music] [Music] all the decorations here favorite are the lamppost [Music] [Music] lights are on on the livestream where who knows once you see this I might have already done it the mystery machine is out here is the Hollywood Brown Derby but here at Universal it is a hat shop not a restaurant I can't Hollywood studios here's Little Miss Hello Kitty it's one of my favorite shops all Hello Kitty let's go in and check it out so pretty and colorful I love it oh my got a little miss unless a miss Hello Kitty but that just sounds funny well mug 2195 some hello can you pop figures as I do [Music] they even have Hello Kitty lounge fly bags these are $79 super cute wallets to match [Music] even the floor has Hello Kitty bows on it check out Hello Kitty's Christmas tree I love it so pretty so pink so Universal has a that's holder lounge and that's how we would we've been looking for somebody else was asking a team member I think is what they call him here where it was and we overheard so we think it's this way so we're gonna we're on the hunt for it let's see if we can find it Scooby so apparently it's over here before you get to the prop shop let's see if we can find it I'll show you as where's that if you are a puzzler well I think it's right here yeah here it is okay so look human size are your universal annual pass let's go in and check it [Music] open 11:00 to 4:00 p.m. daily a pass holder sure in here I like that ride the movie or $25.00 they also have a Raglan so the lounge was a little disappointing I thought there was a freak like cope to get their free beverages but not anymore but it is they have a few seats in there that you can hang out relax then especially if it's hot I guess would be a nice place to come and chill for shopping time let's go in the Universal Studios Store and see what they have to buy good time to come shopping not very many people are here shopping do have some wrench things for Christmas ho ho no is this well that's super cute or more better less glitter those awesome than $30 check this one out that is super cute it's like an ugly Christmas sweater with a bunch of the characters from Universal on there you may see this shirt is 28 and then you have the sweatshirt for 40 for us too bad actually I am a whole Grinch Christmas display here pajamas stuffed Grinch and even one fair enough doggie so we need one so they have a whole honeydukes display over here and I'm loving it so much they even have England by bag with all the yummy candies on it the bag is $82.00 and I'm a smaller bag here looks like a pea in actual candy this one is 84 this one's more than the backpack this one looks like a makeup case see if we can find a price $40 they even have a wallet this one is 555 that's cute the little frog on the back we're gonna check out all the ornaments so they have a Bertie Botts every flavor bean for $24 so honeydukes 19 they even have a chocolate frog ornament see how much it is 24 and they even have one out of the box for you no chocolate frog he's 24 and then there's the one with a frog together oh that's cool I actually have a llamo a teaching like this see this one's 24 you also have all the trading cards that come in the chocolate frogs 24 so more Harry Potter ornament for all the houses differences few more back here they even have the Hogwarts Express train platform 9 and 3/4 here's your Hogwarts acceptance letter oh it's for Harry Potter that's so cool can you and on your very own plushy chocolate frog is only 1895 that's actually not too bad there's even one that is sitting on top the box you're cuter this one so this one is actually more it is 2195 not much more so now that I look at these I think this is a real frog and then this is the chocolate rack I don't know I'll sort the frogs hash tag all the frogs and look at the Oh look at the Owls we have Hedwig of course and pig would Gian I remember those so cute here's my house Gryffindor I've been winning this sweatshirt for a while it's super cute very saw it is 62 95 so a little expensive but kind of expertise we do get a discount I just think with our Ivanova cute little minion backpack it's $55 I don't think this ins lounge 5 first look Chloe can even be a minion to cute 1595 uh so bad oh my goodness it's the fluffy unicorn pop that is awesome $22 even have a minion tree check it out Oh cute I love this little minion snowman though how cute he is um 1695 isn't bad and there's even a gingerbread one day okay I love that heading over here into the New York area your central line up this is Central Park but a nice little park here huh tree is in the middle there let's go around this way we're gonna head down the street here it's like one of my favorite shops is on the corner it's here all the time but we're gonna go in because it's Christmas time now it is a Christmas store oh my goodness let's check it out it's all decorated - is this the Blues Brothers car I think it's awesome all right here it is let's go inside I love it Harry Potter tree just as you come in the door a couple hello ornaments for 1895 they even have a Harry Potter snowman that used to should in Hogg's mean there's only $22 that's not bad at all it's so cute check it out they would have a Grinch backpack so it's lounge-y and it is $82.00 okay I'm loving this Grinch mug here the Buffalo plaid and the grand $15 so pretty and sparkly The Blues Brothers are in there [Music] three is so pretty to look at all the decorations one of the things we love about University are on these little streets back-alley street looks like movie sets almost looks like it's a club 33 up there [Music] [Music] [Music] so you guys knew this was coming right you knew have to go to Starbucks they even have a mere Universal and [Music] I had absolutely no coffee today excited wanted to be able to ride Hagrid's but without having to go the bathroom so whoa that little pigeon almost got me I wonder if that was on the I don't know if you guys saw that or
