Highlights: Vitesse - Twente | Eredivisie 2023/2024

Vitesse FC Twente The match where Vitesse comes to a standstill at Theo Bos As they do every year for the man who died eleven years ago He played in 369 matches for the first team of the Arnhemmers Speed in special shirts which will also be auctioned The proceeds go to Support Casper Titon is today the man under the crossbar for FC Twente in the absence of Lars Unerstal He is missing due to a back injury Van Wolfswinkel scores FC Twente creates pace Vlab is free Vitesse escapes But what is the offside rule Complicated And Van Wolfswinkel runs him offside Early goal for FC Twente He modestly celebrates from Wolfswinkel He scores in this game for Twente just like last season Four minutes of applause on the stands at Gelredome for Theo Bos who of course has his own stands at Gelredome To honor the fallen Mr Vitesse Sturing is an old teammate Clearly affected Vlab van Wolfswinkel is gone again Started exactly at the right moment and on his way to his second goal Van Wolfswinkel Room is his former teammate Nice goal from Van Wolfswinkel Rots needed a bit too much time to shoot Twente could have been sitting on roses here Nu Meerdink with the chance Let the ball go a little longer Meerdink gets through anyway But it ultimately yields nothing for the Arnhemmers' peak Pinto Meulensteen Aronsen In a duel with Sadilek Hatsmusa Arco is going around Hatsmusa there are his known movements What does it yield A great cross and a goal for Vitesse That is what the home team needs The goal by Pinto He doesn't do that very often Pinto recently in the match against Volendam That was his first goal of the season And now he's making his second one And the final touch is from Prupper And then it's an own goal Hatsmusa Here again at the ball reached by Arco Looking for Max Meerdink who has escaped from the bench Meerdink A real tricky one Just shot The rescue with Titon's legs Now the match is on in Arnhem Hendriks' ballet shot at Aronsen Aronsen gets the ball in front of the goal Here comes Hatsmusa Hatsmusa places him towards the top left corner but leans too far back with his body Deep dive at Meerdink Take a walk Kozowski Meerdink for the goal That's where Titon actually doesn't come A bit stuck between a rock and a hard place And so Vitesse can strike with Aronsen And here he goes in Meijers raises the flag for offside He cheers Hatsmusa But for now a line is drawn through this goal Good move Kozowski And indeed out of play Meerdink The public is standing in the Gelredome Almost an hour away in Arnhem 1-1 halftime score Vitesse-SC Twente The first quarter of the second half gives Vitesse a good feeling That there may be even more possible tonight It's high time FC Twente regains composure and control It must also simply be able to take the initiative again To be able to go on a hunt for a second goal Maybe here with Vlapp Vlapp which is ultimately not such a difficult ball for Rome And so it's time to switch Rots goes to the side Van Bergen comes in front of him It is also the end of the race for Semstein And for Matthias Keurleuw Brunet's mistake Boutra the last corner Redding Titon Meerdink brilliantly accepted Prepare print and the outside of the pole was touched by Kozlowski Vitesse is closer to 2-1 than Twente in the second half Meulensteen defends Vlapp Brunet Can now move forward Boadou And the rescue excellent from Rome There was a chance for Myron Boadou What can Twente do in the final part Another dangerous corner kick Hit left across Rome Vlapp out of play Brunet The flag does not go up Vlapp Find Marissen a way out Oh Brunet And hit Goal by FC Twente But of course further investigation will still be done whether there was an offside call on Brunet in an earlier stadium This is a setback for Brunet But he doesn't get to the ball And then this all waits Vlapp is there a new situation And here is certainly no question of being out of play The video assistant referee will be involved But I think this goal will stand And that's the goal 1-2 In the past Twente wins in Arnhem And the disappointment is enormous among the management among Hofs and among everyone and everything from Vitesse
