Today, I am revealing the one thing that scares me the most. Plus, Anna Kendrick emailed the woman that her ex-boyfriend cheated with and then talked to her on the phone for an hour. And, Chelsea Handler says she didn't know that the sun and moon were not the same until she was 40 years old.
Ep.74
Happy Tuesday, everybody. First and foremost, I want to congratulate my arch-nemesis and colleague,
Matt Walsh. I'm going to suspend our beef for a day to congratulate him on the birth of his
twins. He has healthy twin boys that makes six children in the Walsh clan, which is just so
wonderful and so fantastic. And everybody is healthy and happy, and he's going to be busy.
In case you didn't know, guys, by the way, this is his second set of twins. So yeah, a lot going
on in that household, and great news, especially following the discussion that we had on
yesterday's podcast about divorce and talking about so many people in the media who make it
seem like marriages, staying together, are such an impossible feat. I think it's very depressing,
and people listen to that, and they think that they can't have a healthy marriage to aspire to.
By the way, yesterday when I asked that question on my Instagram and my Twitter as a brief follow-up,
I was very surprised to see that when I did a poll asking for those who had been divorced
whether or not they regretted divorcing their other half, 25% to 30% on both Twitter and
Instagram said yes, they did regret their divorces. And I thought, wow, I thought it
would be much lower, maybe 10% of people were upset that they had gotten divorced.
But 25% is a high number. I think it signals to the rest of you, maybe you're in a marriage,
you're going through a rough patch, really think through it. The grass is not always greener. But
enough about that topic because I want to ask you a question today. And the question of the
day today that I have come up with is, if you had to die from one of the deadly sins, the seven
deadly sins, which one would terrify you the most? I'm asking you this question because there is one
of the carnal sins that legitimately terrifies me, and I think about it every single day,
and we should discuss it. And we'll talk about that and much more today on Ken's Sounds.
All right, so first up, just a little history regarding what the seven deadly sins are,
in case you're not aware. The seven deadly sins were originally based on a list of eight
principal vices. The list was developed in the fourth century by mystic Evagrius Ponticus,
whose work inspired the writings of monk and ascetic John Cassian. In the sixth century,
Pope Gregory changed Cassian's list of eight vices into a list of seven deadly or cardinal sins of
Roman Catholic theology. What are those sins? Pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, anger,
and sloth. Gregory viewed those to be capital or principal sins, and that many other sins came
from them. All right, so there you go. That's the background. And if you didn't know that that was
the origin of the seven deadly sins, then you might have known about the movie Seven. Maybe
you saw that movie with Brad Pitt when he was super young. I saw it when I was probably too
young. And it's basically the premise of the movie is that there's a serial killer, and he
kills people based on these sins. So he finds people that are committing sloth, gluttony,
anger, lust, greed, and he kills them. And the killer ends up being, spoiler alert,
who the killer always is, Kevin Spacey. All right, moving on. Why am I talking about this?
Because one of these cardinal sins drives me insane. Actually, I think about it so often,
and it is so important for me to never engage in this sin ever, really. I can say that I
rarely, if ever, commit this sin. And if I do commit it, it's because I'm basically
forced to commit it because I have been entrapped. And the idea of suffering
death because of this, it would just be too much for me. And that is sloth. I'm thinking about this
because on my way to Africa, by the way, 18-hour flight, this is one of the circumstances in which
I was required to engage in sloth. I was trapped on an airplane for 18 hours. And so what did I do?
I watched TV. I watched an entire series, actually. It carried me all the way to Africa.
I watched an entire series on TV. I never do that. I can't sit through more than one episode
of anything because then I feel slothy. I'm just like, I don't want to do this. I feel like I need
to engage in something better than sitting down here and watching TV for more than one hour.
So on my way to this airport, I mean, at the airport, on my way to Africa, I flew out from Atlanta
Airport. And there was a scene that made me go from zero to 100 in terms of anger, which is
another one of the cardinal sins. But my husband and I were just trying to get something to eat
before we got on the plane and try not to rely too much on plane food. And for whatever reason,
at the international terminal at Atlanta Airport, there's basically about four places you can eat at,
which, again, seems very strange to me. So we get to this terminal and there's four places to eat at.
And each of the lines are extremely long. You would think because the airport's busy,
it actually wasn't busy at all. And all the lines are long. So I see one where it has the shortest
line. And I get into that line. I say to my husband, you get into the next one because it's
kind of tight. We're going to have to board soon. And I see that the head of this line at the
register is a woman who is just, she just could not care. The line is long because this woman
does not care. Between each person that she is taking their order, she's on her phone,
and she's texting. And then she's walking around, talking to the cook, coming back,
on her phone text. Maybe she was on Instagram. I don't know. I had no idea what was going on.
She looked the part of just someone who cared little to nothing to do with providing and making
sure that she was taking care of the clientele. She's one of those girls, those super long
ghetto eyelashes that look like they, my little pony I'm talking about, which is way too long.
What are you doing? Looks like you have a bird on your eyes. Like you might just flap away
and go away. And I just instantly was like, I know that this situation is going to drive me
crazy. I can just see it. This is the kind of individual that is going to deeply upset me
on a spiritual level. And I promise you, she saw three people. I must've been the eighth person
in line. And then she just like goes one second and she walks in the back and she disappears.
Not one second and runs back. Not one second. Just completely disappears.
After about six minutes of her being gone, the cook, who's the only other person there,
comes over and asks people in line, have you seen her? Where did she go? Did she say anything?
They were like, we don't know. We don't know. We were all been sitting in line. We don't know
where she went. She just stopped doing order. So he takes off his gloves and he takes the next
order. And then he goes back to being the cook and he takes the next order. Crazy scene. I got
out of line because I was being driven crazy. I go over to the line that my husband is in.
And here's the girl, the girl that was supposed to be at the register in my line.
She's just talking to the girl that is supposed to be taking orders at this taco stand.
And they're chatting and they're showing each other their phones. And this girl's also got
these super ghetto long eyelashes. And I look at George and I'm like, and he just looks at me
because he already knows exactly what I'm thinking. He knows that I'm being driven crazy by
the scene. They're also laughing with the cook at the taco stand in the back, showing them
something on their phone. This girl does not, none of them care at all. They have no business
being here. They don't care about how much money they're losing by not moving quickly
because people are going to have to leave the lines to catch their flights. They are here to
have a good time. Suddenly the girl at the taco stand at the register announces, oh guys, I think
we're out of chicken. I think we're out of chicken. And then everyone who's been waiting
in line for, I don't know, presumably 30 minutes, something goes, okay, this is a chicken place.
So you got chicken tacos, very small menus, chicken tacos, or beef tacos. And you've got
like a cheese quesadilla, right? So half of them just depart because I guess they're not eating
beef. And they're wondering why she failed to mention this earlier. And then she goes back
to texting on her phone, laughing with the girl that was supposed to be in the line that I was in
by sounding because I am, I was literally, I carried this scene with me all the way to Africa
and all the way back. So I could speak to about my podcast as it was the most absurd thing I've
ever seen. So eventually my husband and I just decide this is just not worth it because it's
ruining, it's ruining my experience here at this airport. I'm getting very frustrated. He's
frustrated and we're about to eat on the plane. I'd rather take my chances with eating on a Delta
flight than sitting here on this line, observing these two people. We go and we sit at this table
and I said to my husband, here's what drives me the most crazy about this scene, right? We are
seeing these girls and they couldn't care about anything in their lives, right? They don't even
care to show up and to take an order at a restaurant, right? I said to him, these would
be the first girls, the loudest girls at a Black Lives Matter protest. Let me tell you, let a black
person get arrested and harmed while getting arrested anywhere in America and they will be
the first ones lined up in the streets talking about the oppression of black people. These two
girls happen to be black, by the way, didn't have to be black. They could have been white girls,
but we happen to be in Atlanta. It's a high black population. They'd be the first ones in line
talking about their oppression. Convinced that all of their failures in their life has to do
with the color of their skin and not because they suffer from a cardinal sin called sloth.
And then it was this stark contrast, right? Amazingly, because I was thinking about this
girl, these two girls and this entire thing that happened at the airport of arriving into Africa
and seeing people that you could say were oppressed if you have an American mindset
living in the African bush, right? As I'm going on a safari, they were the happiest people
in the world. These people get up at four o'clock in the morning to beat the heat.
They're outside all day doing real work, right? Heavy work, having to take care of animals on
a farm. And they're completely different and they would never consider themselves to be oppressed.
I just thought, wow, isn't that something? But again, this has nothing to do with the color of
anybody's skin, right? I think about sloth usually seven times a day when I'm coming across
individuals at all different types of circumstances. It's not because you work
at a restaurant that you're lazy. Absolutely not. I used to work at a restaurant. I worked
at a restaurant for years, right? Especially because I had to get rid of Sue and Linda.
I've worked at every single, in my opinion at least, all different across the hierarchy of
jobs that you can have, right? I worked at Blockbuster. I worked at New York Sports Club
checking people into their gym. I've worked at restaurants as a waitress. I've worked at
restaurants as a host. But I always gave it my 100% every single day. I'm the kind of person
that gets driven crazy, by the way, by people that show up. I once had a nanny that would
intentionally, it wasn't intentional, she would show up to work between nine to 15 minutes late
every single morning and it drove me insane. Literally drove me insane. I'd see my husband
every morning. This is crazy. Why can't she get to work? She would always send us a picture
of the traffic every morning and be like, almost there, traffic's really bad.
And in my head I'm thinking, no, you're just lazy because traffic can be bad one day.
But if traffic is bad every single day, that means you need to set your alarm a bit earlier.
That means you need to leave your house earlier. You need to make a significant change, okay?
Your behavior needs to be modified. You need to include the traffic in your calculations.
She never did that. We eventually let her go for another incident, but ultimately she was
already letting us know that she was a lazy individual. And I think about this all the time
when I hear people complain, right? Because we as a society in America have all become so lazy.
People when they set their New Year's resolutions, right? I want to do this. I want to be better.
The favorite one is I'm going to go to the gym every single day. And then by January 5th,
they stopped going to the gym. We like to complain and we do absolutely nothing about
our lives to fix those complaints, to get rid of having to make those complaints.
We think the sport is complaining and not trying to make our lives better.
And I'm telling you this, you guys, because you can be better. We're watching this one.
You know that there's something that you complained about, something that you go,
oh, I just too tired to do this. No, tired is not an excuse. You can be better.
In this society, you have a bunch of people telling you that your excuses are valid, right?
And I want to tell you, I want to be the different person to tell you that they're not.
Set your alarm clock earlier. Realize how remarkably privileged you are. Whatever your
goal is, get up every day and do something toward it. Because laziness, sloth, it's more than a
cardinal sin. It's a cancer. Honestly, I believe it is a cancer and it is killing our society.
And a part of the disease that is laziness is psychological. It's constantly giving yourself
an excuse in the back of your head. I didn't do this today because of that. I didn't get to work
today because of traffic, right? Traffic is the reason I didn't get there on time. You know,
I don't like the way I look, but I'm just so busy doing this. I don't have time to make an effort
to go to the gym, right? Whatever it is, it's all an excuse and it's correctly a cardinal sin.
And it is one of the biggest reasons that America and the Western hemisphere is suffering so much.
Because everywhere I look, I see lazy people. Lazy people that didn't exist even five decades
ago. Honestly, we've transformed so much and we need to go back. In closing, be better,
work harder, and nobody cares about your complaints. That's all I want to say about that.

du Jour. All right, you know, speaking of sloth, do you know what's lazy? Lying. Lying is lazy.
It requires very little effort. It's that you don't have to deal with the truth because the
truth is hard and requires some effort to understand the truth. And that really is my
little spiel on college campuses today. They have just become these little totalitarian units of
laziness, of sloth, of teachers that can't be bothered to tell their students the truth,
students who don't want to deal with the truth and want to keep being sold lies.
And you can really see how bad it's gotten when you examine the university campuses that we were
led to believe our entire lives are the cream of the crop. Harvard, Yale, they are probably the most
engaged in this egregious behavior of lying. Need proof? Well, how about this? Medical students at
Harvard are being taught how to care for infant patients who identify as LGBTQIA+. Let me repeat
that to you. How to care for infant patients who identify as LGBTQIA+, according to a publicly
available course description. Just to be clear, an infant is considered from birth to 12 months old.
So I have an infant. I have an infant. She turned six months last week. And apparently,
there are people at Harvard that are being taught that she is capable of identifying LGBTQIA. She's
not even capable of crawling beyond five crawls, right, five little moves before she falls flat.
But little did I know that some brilliant students and teachers at Harvard have thought up
that actually she can identify by herself. Can't talk. Definitely can't walk. And she can identify
by herself whether or not she is LGBTQIA+, which is stunning to me. Because my son, who just turned
two a couple of days ago, doesn't even know his alphabet. But apparently, his little six-month-old
sister can fully somehow communicate to some genius over at Harvard her LGBTQIA-plus status.
So how's that for Harvard? A spokesperson for Harvard Medical School provided
DailyMail.com with this statement regarding their teachings. As part of our MD curriculum,
Harvard Medical School offers a four-week elective course that educates and trains
medical students to provide high-quality, culturally responsive care for patients
with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and sex development across the age spectrum.
In this context, care for infants refers specifically to physical variations in sex
development that arise in utero and are present at birth. These include chromosomal and anatomical
variations, all of which are relevant to medical care and treatment to ensure healthy development.
This course aligns with Harvard Medical School's Sexual and Gender Minority Health Initiative,
and its educational framework is based on recommendations of the Association of American
Medical Colleges, which together aim to address the health needs of patients who are LGBTQIA+,
gender non-conforming, or born with differences in sex development.
Wonderful. Accurate. He says that it's culturally responsive care,
based on the truth. They are being, Harvard, in this capacity, is acting culturally responsive
to stupid, because our culture has become stupid. And so to respond to stupid, they are creating
stupid, and they are fostering stupid. So if you want to be stupid, go to Harvard,
said no person ever until today, and that person is me. Moving on and speaking about gender
non-conforming, you're not going to believe this. I was color me shocked. I was very shocked to read
this headline. It says, the hidden dangers of gender affirming care. 55% of trans women who have
bottom surgery are in so much pain that they need medical care years later, according to study
of dozens of cases. I am so glad that they conducted this study. I'm so glad that some
expert and some professional somewhere, probably with a title, probably a doctor, took place
in this study to determine what any person with a thinking brain could have told you,
if you chop your off, it's going to hurt. 5% who had bottom surgery are in so much pain
that they need medical care years later. No, all of them need medical pain years. Every single
one of them are taking drugs for the rest of life, because that's what happens when you chop your
off. So thank you guys so much for watching the show. I know I'm not a doctor, so it's difficult
to trust me on this, right? It's very difficult, trust me, that this might be true. But I can
guarantee you, man, ask any guy who still has one working, what they would imagine getting
their chopped off medically might feel like, okay? It hurts, but wait for it. I'm not a doctor,
but it's now been confirmed. We can all say what we all knew, water is wet and you shouldn't do
these things, ladies and gentlemen. And I shouldn't be laughing because people should be locked up for
doing it, right? People should be locked up from the entire ecosystem, from the professors and the
teachers and the parents that condoned this foolishness, especially down to the surgeon
that took off a piece of somebody's anatomy all to feed this, I'm sorry, what was the term again?
To be culturally responsive, right? To be culturally responsive to the times,
said Dr. So-and-so. I'm going to now remove your pee-pee. Okay, I hope that these people
are able to sue these doctors and the teachers and the professors and their parents who led them
down this obvious trap. Of course, it's not going to make you a woman. It is going to injure you
for life, and that's what it is. That's what the procedures are. It doesn't make you anything
other than an injured individual for the rest of your life. Scary that people can be brainwashed
to do this stuff. It's actually fascinating on one end because I love psychology, but scary,
very scary because I hate stupidity. All right, moving on, you guys, I want to talk about this.
I thought it was a very interesting podcast, I should say. Actually, a lot of stuff comes out
of his podcast series I find to be interesting. Dax Shepard, you might know him from a lot of
movies. I personally know him from Ashton Kutcher's Punk'd series. He was so funny on it,
and I always loved Dax Shepard. Anyways, he has a podcast that's called Armchair Expert,
and he recently had on actress Anna Kendrick, and they had a discussion, and she's, by the way,
another actress, and she's super cute, beautiful girl, as many actresses tend to be, very beautiful.
And she starts recounting to him a story about her ex-boyfriend who cheated on her and engaged in
extreme gaslighting, but she kept confronting him about cheating on her. He was so good at
gaslighting that she thought, maybe I actually am crazy, that I'm actually completely crazy.
Anyways, she then discovers this text chain, a year-long text chain between him and another woman
in which he talks about how badly he wants to screw this girl again. And Anna Kendrick does
this very mature thing that some women do, and she emailed the woman, the other woman,
and basically said, you know, I know what's going on or what happened. Anyways, take a listen to
Anna Kendrick in her own words. And I ended up emailing this young woman and saying, I just
think it's fair that you know that I know, and I don't put this at your doorstep. You made a mistake,
but you know, you're 25, and we've all done stupid s***. I very much lay this at his doorstep,
and I just wanted you to know that. I don't know why we would ever be in a room together, but if
we were, I just kind of need you to know. And if I were you, I wouldn't want to talk to me, but if
you ever wanted to talk, I'm more than willing. And to her eternal credit, she was like, yes, can I
call you? And we talked on the phone for about an hour, and she was just like, I'm so embarrassed,
and I'm so sorry. Especially when you're that young, you're like, this was forever ago,
you know? She's like, what, why is this coming up? And she was like, this was a mistake. And also,
yes, I think over the last year have tried to just remain friendly, which was probably also
a mistake. And I have also flirted, which was also a mistake. And to just for like an hour,
be honest. That's all she did was just say, I'm so sorry. I feel terrible. And yes, this happened.
Yeah. And even though I had seen it in black and white, it was infinitely more valuable to me,
and it landed finally in my body, hearing her say it. And so much of healing is relational.
It was so magical to me that after all that evidence cataloging that I had been doing,
after writing down the dates and the times and the places, because he would say something,
and I would say, no, no, no, no, you told me that on October 11th, and you got that script
on October 19th. And I still remember these days. I had it all in black and white. And there was
still part of me when he said, I don't know what you're talking about, that my body wouldn't believe
that I'd seen the proof. And it was her saying it and having compassion that was like, oh,
this was real. Okay. So I have nothing bad to say about Anna Kendrick here. I totally get that this
for her was cathartic to say the least. You find out that your boyfriend is shooting on you. He's
been gaslighting you for a very long time. You feel like you're a crazy person. And then you
want to reach out to the person. What I actually disagree with is that the person who slept with
her boyfriend was a good person for telling her the truth when she got caught. It's very easy to
tell the truth once you get caught. You just watch Judge Judy. I mean, watch any criminal trial ever.
I mean, once people know that they've been caught and they've already pled guilty,
now they all read their statements at the end. I'm so sorry for the victims,
and I didn't mean to do it. And I suffered a trauma when I was a kid, and that's why I didn't.
I'm not really a bad person. This is who I really am. This kind of happens because you've already
been caught. And I find it very interesting that this woman who was so open to her and so
understanding and told her exactly what she wanted to hear and said, look, I made a mistake.
No, she didn't make a mistake. She did this on purpose, right? And the fact that she wanted to
talk to you is because she wanted to rinse herself of a guilty conscience that she had. She felt
guilty that she got caught. And if she could just only speak to the victim of what she did,
the victim being Anna Kendrick, Anna Kendrick would make her go on like that. Actually,
I'm a good person because even though I asked her boyfriend, I then got on the phone with her and
spoke to her about it. So while it may have been cathartic for Anna Kendrick, I do want to call
up this other woman stuff because there seems to be this idea that if you meet up for a face-to-face
after you do something really bad and you say you're sorry, that somehow renders you a good
individual. Want to be a good individual? Don't screw somebody's boyfriend or husband in the
first place. Just some Candace Owens advice in life. There we go. All right, guys, this
clip from Chelsea Handler, we had disagreement in the control room. Chelsea Handler has come out
in an interview and said that she did not know until she was 40 years old that the sun and the
moon are not the same. Okay, she probably thinking that is just so ridiculous and stupid. But let's
hear Chelsea Handler in her own words because I'm going to defend her, believe it or not.
I didn't know until I was 40 years old that the sun and the moon were not the same thing.
I find this hard to believe, but what are you talking about?
It was, I was shocking to me as well. I mean, well, of course, it must have been more shocking
to you. I was like, I was in Africa. We were on safari. My sister and I were riding an elephant
and there was a man riding an elephant for us because we don't know how to ride an elephant.
And my older sister, Simone, looked up at the sky and she said, Chelsea, Chelsea, look up.
It's not often you get to see the sun and the moon at the same time.
And I was like, I was like Scooby Doo. I'm like,
I said, and I go, wait, I go, but they're always together. And as soon as I said that,
she turned around, she goes, what did you say? And I was like, oh, shut up, shut up.
I'm like, I knew what I said was wrong.
Giddy up, elephant. I was like, let's canter. Is that what an elephant does?
And she looked at me, she goes, I need you. And I just tried to gloss over it. I was like,
nevermind what I said. I know. And she said, no, I need you to tell me
what you think is happening between the sun and the moon.
And I was like, honestly, I just assumed when the sun went down, it popped back up as the moon.
It is ridiculous. I should add to this, though, cut from the clip, just to give it a little more
context. In the beginning, she's talking to him about why she just doesn't think
that she would be good with kids, why she doesn't really want children. And she's basically saying
that I can't answer a lot of their questions. And this is why I'm going to defend her,
because you know you can admit this to yourself right now. There is something that was abundantly
obvious to every single person in your life that you found out about yesterday or about what we
could go or about a month ago or a year ago. And you were so shocked when you found out.
And then you realized how dumb it was that you didn't know. And everyone went to you.
How could you not know this? How could you not know this? And I have those circumstances.
I'm going to be honest and forthcoming with something that I did not know. And no one
believed me when I finally learned it. They were like, there's just no way. So a lint roller,
right? My entire life, and this is because my mom never purchased a lint roller.
And so I didn't really understand the contraption per se. And maybe I'm not ace in engineering.
But when I would see people use the lint roller, and I finally realized that it took lint off
of clothing, and then I started buying my own lint roller, and I took the lint off my own
clothing, I never realized that you could remove layers of the tape to get a new layer of tape.
So I would use just the top layer, and then I would throw out the lint roller. My entire life,
this is what I did until maybe five years ago, when maybe six now, maybe six or seven years ago,
when I was working in an office, and a girl that I worked with named Rosie was lint rolling.
And then I saw her remove the tape layer and put it back in her drawer. And I went, wait,
you can just remove a layer and start over again? And she was like, ha ha, very funny.
And next to the guy next to her was like, ha ha. And I was like, okay, I'm not being funny.
Like, I never knew this. And they could not believe that I was being serious. And I was
being 100% serious. I never knew until my mid-twenties that this was a plausibility.
So I totally know that it can happen where something has just completely just flown under
the radar for you your entire life. And to her also credit, you guys know that I used to nanny
to put myself through university. Kids ask the toughest questions. Adults, children ask the
toughest questions. I had this child who was three years old that I used to watch, maybe two,
actually. I think it was two. And he used to ask the toughest questions. Like he'd say,
Gaga, that's what he called me. Gaga, why is the sky blue? Can't answer that question.
What do I look like? Keep your mouth shut. Eat your snack. It's difficult. Kids are smart.
That is why are you smarter than a fifth grader is a success because the majority of us are not.
I'm not saying I'm not. I definitely knew about this on the move. I am saying that some of those
questions would stump me. So I'm issuing a staunch defense for Chelsea Handler. And that's all I have
to say about that. Do you know what big tech and big government have in common? They both want to
silence dissenting voices. Let's say you're a proud gun owner and you want to talk on social
media about the right to bear arms. Chances are that your post will be flagged by a content
moderator and you might even end up on some kind of government watch list. To fight back against
having your voice censored by both big tech and big government, I recommend Express VPN.
Big tech tracks everything you do online, what you're searching for, the videos you watch and
everything that you click. They can match your activity to your device's unique IP address.
When I use Express VPN, they can't see my IP address. My identity becomes completely anonymized.
What I love most about Express VPN is how easy it is to use. The app has just one button. You
tap it and then you're protected. It's that simple. Stop letting big tech and big government censor
and track you. Protect yourself from prying eyes at expressvpn.com slash Candace. That's

regarding yesterday's episode where we talked about divorce. We talked a bit about marriage
and we talked about really just relationships. Remember we covered that story regarding the
Tennessee Police Department where one woman, one of the officers, now she's been fired because she
was having an affair with a lot of the other deputies and sheriffs and having threesomes,
super assorted affair. This person, Ahas, writes, don't judge those officers because 99% of men
will succumb to such extreme temptations from this woman. Most men will not shy away from
such extreme sexual pleasures. Those officers must get their jobs back. Absolutely not.
I am going to judge those officers. Maybe you missed this key detail of the story,
but this was taking place on duty. These weren't officers in their spare time going out for drinks
afterwards and deciding that they want to sleep with one another. It said a lot of this stuff
took place on duty. And just because you are tempted to do things that are obviously not
allowed, you're not allowed to do this while you're being paid, least of all, being paid by
taxpayers, okay, just because you may succumb to the temptation doesn't mean that we shouldn't say,
okay, well, it's understandable. He was at work and she offered him sex and he's a guy.
So of course, no, I'm going to judge you. You should absolutely be fired, right? If somebody
comes up to you at work and offers you whatever it is, oh, don't judge the guys. The majority of
them would accept cocaine. If a dealer at work said, hey, just snort some, don't arrest me,
officer. No, we can't judge the guys, just snort the wine. Yes, we can judge you. It was immoral
and it was wrong and this should have never happened. And beyond anything else, it's so
egregious that it reflects poorly on the actual department, which is a fireable offense. I believe
at every job, right? When now everyone is saying what the heck is going on at this police department
and why are my tax paying dollars going to that? You are actually held under a larger microscope
when you are accepting taxpayers' hard earned money. So there's my stance on that.
Next comment regarding Gwyneth Paltrow. Remember she made the statement that kids ruin marriages
and I feel compelled to say, no, they don't. I just don't believe that. But you know who disagrees
with me? Shoe Hang 715 disagrees with me. And Shoe Hang 715 says, I see it from both sides.
Maybe I wouldn't have used the same wording that children quote unquote ruin relationships,
but I also find Candace's analysis to be myopic. Having kids can bring both positive and negative
effects, but it will be tougher for parents who are already disadvantaged to begin with.
Poverty, lack of education, not having help, etc. That's an entirely different statement in
my opinion to say that having kids can bring upon stress. Of course, having kids can bring
upon stress. Being married can bring upon stress. You're used to living your life, your entire life
by yourself, and then you get married and you have to be accustomed to doing everything with
two people. I mean, your life and you mutating through life, your circumstances mutating through
life can bring about stress. It's like saying getting older can bring about stress. Would you
say getting older ruins marriages? Just age ruins marriages, right? She was hot, now she's not,
so I dumped her. The entire idea is that you need to be responsive to those stresses. And the truth
is that, yes, it's a huge adjustment to have a child. It's a personal adjustment. What I am
saying is that the other end of that, it is so wonderful. And to be quite frank, as someone who
has nannied for a very long time, I nannied for years, you guys know that, and then having my own
children, it's almost the first two years that are the most stressful because they rely on you
for everything. But as they get older, they just start doing things on their own, right?
And beyond just being your child, they become somebody that you're getting to see the world
through their eyes. My husband can't wait until the day that we can take our son fishing when
he's old enough to sit in a boat and understand what he's catching. So I think it's rather myopic
to believe that that stress does not change or transform as you get older, and that the bigger
picture is that the moments of just complete adoration are not bigger than the stresses,
right? That they do not trump the stresses. And I believe that they do, whether or not you are
impoverished, whether or not you have a lack of education, or whether or not you have a nanny.
I think there is something that is so beautiful and so special about family that at the end of
every day, when I wake up in the morning, I just can't wait to see the kids. We put them to bed,
and then the first thing I think when I wake up is, I've got a couple hours before they wake up,
but I can't wait to see them. So that's what I will respond to. But thank you so much for
your comment. I think that is a fair comment. Next comment from Pam Greger is just regarding
the topic of divorce altogether. Pam says, I had a midlife crisis, married 28 years,
and decided that I wanted to get my own apartment. Very sad and big mistake. I was 16 when we met,
and I felt I missed out on things. Not a very smart decision. I've heard of this happening,
Pam, before. People that do things when they're really young feel like they didn't get to go
through their wild phase, and I definitely did. I would say I definitely, what is the expression,
sowed my wild oats, right, in my early 20s. And I can understand why if you didn't feel like you
had that phase of quote unquote freedom, and where you're doing ridiculous things, and really just
wasting money everywhere, and not being smart about your life at all, that you might feel that
you were forced to grow up really young, because you had kids really young, and that when you get
older, that might cause some misplaced resentment. So you might think that you resent that. You go,
I just got to do it now. And you get out of this thing, and then you realize the thing that you
were in was right, and you got to skip out on that phase. And you're probably better for having
missed out on it. Maybe you're not better for having missed out on it, but I'm sad to hear
you feel it was a big mistake. And I hope that there is some resolution in that space, but thank
you for sharing that. That is wonderful. All right, guys, the next portion of the show is
going to be available exclusively on Daily Wire+. I'm going to be reading some Reddit threads,
