Scientists Say Lithium Should Be Added to Drinking Water to Prevent Suicides | Ep. 79

Scientists are making a case for adding lithium to our drinking water by claiming that it reduces the rate of suicides. Today, I'm diving into this absurd concept and explaining the dangers of lithium.
Plus, A mentally ill Youtuber is documenting her bid to end her life at a euthanasia clinic.
And, I debunk Steven Crowder's recent claims on Tim Pool's podcast.
Ep.79
What do you believe is the greatest evil that we are fighting today?
It's a tricky question, but I want you to actually think about that, and
I'm gonna tell you what I believe it is.
Plus, a mentally ill French YouTuber who suffers from multiple personality
disorder is documenting her bid to end her life at a euthanasia clinic.
All that and more today coming up on Candace Owens.
So in regards to answering the question as to which is the greatest evil
that we are fighting today, I oscillate between the military
industrial complex and Big Pharma.
And I would probably say that because I am a mother to two young children,
I am inching toward Big Pharma.
Last week, we discussed on the show the fluoride that they're putting in
the drinking water.
And obviously, both of these, whether you're talking about Big Pharma or
you're talking about the military industrial complex,
it's about max profits for the government, right?
Max profits, just earning trillions and trillions of dollars by making people
sick or killing people overseas and
stealing their stuff all in the name of, quote, unquote, democracy.
And so last week, we talked about them putting fluoride in the water and
how all the evidence shows this is not helping anything.
We don't have less instances of tooth decay here in the United States despite
putting the most fluoride in our water, but who cares, right?
Because they want fluoride in your water for God knows what reason.
And then I learned over the week, over this last week,
that they are actually discussing putting lithium in public drinking water.
Can you believe that?
Lithium in public drinking water.
What does lithium make you think of?
Do you know anybody that's on lithium?
Have you ever seen anybody that's been on lithium for a long time and
what it does to their brain?
There's a lot of conspiracies on the Internet regarding Britney Spears,
which is probably the most famous example of somebody that was forced put on
lithium for years, people are like, what?
She's been on lithium for years, people think that she's dead.
People have put up all of these theories on TikTok.
This is not the same Britney Spears.
Look at her teeth, her spacing, her face has changed.
Her forehead looks different.
You can find so many conspiracies that people that actually believe that
the government has killed Britney Spears and
that they've hired some other woman to act like her on her Instagram.
This is what people believe.
Want to know what I believe?
I believe that Britney Spears is showing you what happens when you are put on
lithium for a long time.
People are just so stunned.
They can't even fathom what has happened to her and it's that simple.
This is what happens to your brain when you are put on lithium,
there is no pathway back.
And that breaks my heart to say that, by the way,
I'm not saying that to mock Britney Spears whatsoever.
I think it is absolutely horrific that she was put on something as powerful as
lithium for as long as she was put on lithium against her will.
It is a crime that that happened to her.
But I also believe that you can't come back from it, okay?
And here is just, by the way,
one example of the many strange posts that Britney Spears puts on Instagram today.
Take a look.
Can I drink up, smoke up, need some freedom, freedom.
Show me a little attention, a little attention.
Show me attention.
So there you have it.
I mean, I think the only way to say it is that Britney Spears' Instagram posts
are disturbing.
So whether you are pro-Britney and somebody's controlling her Instagram and
coming up with conspiracy theories, or you have some rationale that this may
actually be a person that was medicated for too long,
you agree that lithium is a powerful drug.
So why on earth is our government debating putting it into the public
drinking water?
But I should be clear, by the way.
They say it's just gonna be trace amounts.
Does that make you feel good?
I love the way that they always market these things.
It's just gonna be traces, just a little bit of poison, just a little bit.
And it's gonna make you happier and
it's gonna make you more sober of an individual.
Because you're not gonna wanna kill yourself is really their ultimate pitch.
Now, this is actually a medical study that went up on NIH.gov.
And what's interesting about it is that this study took place in 2020.
And they wanted to look into why so many people were committing suicide.
Suicide was on the rise.
I wonder why, what was going on in 2020?
Was it lockdowns?
Was it telling people that they couldn't go to work?
Was it telling people that they needed to inject their body to save lives?
And to roll up their sleeves and to accept that they weren't allowed to provide for
their families and to deplete their savings accounts?
What could possibly be behind this increase in suicide in 2020?
What could have been behind it?
I just simply don't remember.
I feel like I've had my mind wiped like I'm in Men in Black.
So the background of the study, it states, the prevalence of mental health
conditions and national suicide rates are increasing in many countries.
Lithium is widely and effectively used in pharmacological doses for
the treatment and prevention of manic depressive episodes,
stabilizing mood and reducing the risk of suicide.
Since the 1990s, several ecological studies have tested the hypothesis
that trace doses of naturally occurring lithium in drinking water
may have a protective effect against suicide in the general population.
The aims of the study are to synthesize the global evidence on the association
between lithium levels in drinking water and suicide mortality rates.
So they go through this and their conclusion is, yeah, no, Cynthia,
lithium in water, trace amounts of lithium, a little bit of lithium
could be a good thing.
Could you imagine just being a little bit?
Don't be confused by Britney Spears' Instagram.
Don't be confused by individuals that you know that are taking lithium for
a very long time, what it does to their brain.
It's gonna be good for you because then when the government comes and
they tell you that they're taking over your life and that you no longer have
the option to get up and go to work and that you are going to be poor and
have nothing and like it, maybe you will be more likely to believe the government.
Why not?
You're on lithium.
You're not gonna be suicidal because you're poor.
You're gonna be doped out of your mind.
That's really the aim of the government.
It's not a joke to say that they want us all to be a bunch of zombies and
they're willing to give us the problem.
And then the solution is, well, if you were a zombie and couldn't think straight,
all of the disturbing things that we're doing to you, you wouldn't mind so much.
There's a woman who wrote a blog post on Medium who was a huge supporter of
the idea of lithium in our water, and she wrote out six major benefits.
So don't mind the poison.
Let the poison mind you, because she's gonna tell you why it's good.
Ready?
First and foremost, it promotes normal brain health.
Studies have shown that lithium may increase gray matter volume
in the prefrontal cortex region of the brain,
most likely through the generation of new stem cells.
Number two, it can support your bone health.
The benefits of calcium and phosphorus, two minerals integral to bone formation,
may be enhanced through lithium supplementation, just a little bit.
Number three, it promotes focus and attention.
In one randomized double-blind study comparing a popular mind medicine with
lithium, it was found that lithium was comparable at addressing the most
common symptoms of short attention span.
So if you're sitting down and you're cramming for an exam and
you're like, I'm not really focused on this, not really interested, guess what?
Lithium, just a little bit, it's gonna help you, don't worry, guys.
Number four, it supports immune health.
Recent research has shown that lithium may have potent immune bolstering effects,
simultaneously exerting immune-stimulating properties,
along with activity against harmful organisms.
Number five, it encourages longevity, just a little bit of encouragement,
encourages longevity.
Exciting research from Japan has demonstrated a strong correlation
between lithium consumption and longevity.
The study analyzed 18 water municipalities
that consisted of over 1.2 million citizens.
The results showed lower mortality rates from all causes in the population
groups that were receiving higher levels of lithium.
You'll live a little bit longer, guys, if you just take a little bit of poison.
Trust me, trust the science.
And number six, it can help balance your obsessive compulsive behaviors.
A reduction of the symptoms that are common in classic OCD
has been associated with lithium supplementation.
And thank goodness, right guys?
I mean, yesterday I was organizing my fridge and I went to the container store.
I got all these containers and I got so
obsessed with just organizing all the sauces.
And I was thinking in the back of my head, just a little bit of lithium and
I would step away from the fridge, just a little bit, you know?
Some of you guys are thinking, okay,
I would focus more on the fridge if I had a little lithium.
Not only is it going to help you focus, it's also gonna make sure that you don't
focus so much that you develop an obsessive compulsive disorder.
The one great thing about Big Pharma, what I love about them,
is that they just fund people to give them the answers they want.
And the answers are always, it's gonna be great.
More drugs is great.
More poison is great.
If only you would get on board and realize that your poison's good.
Poison's good.
Britney, she just had too much.
You're just gonna have a little bit and you're not gonna kill yourself.
You're gonna be doped out of your mind, but
at least you're not gonna kill yourself.
So when it comes around the corner, guys,
when you start hearing all this talk about lithium,
I don't wanna hear any nonsense from you, okay?
No, the government isn't trying to kill you.
They're trying to prolong your life just a little bit so that, I don't know.
I don't know why they wanna prolong your life a little bit.
It's just a couple of weeks so
that you accept that you're gonna have lithium in your water and
you don't file any complaints against them because you're doped out of your mind.
So that's where the world is going, you guys.
I am super anti-Big Pharma.
It is becoming so important for me to continue this message to parents.
You have to go direct to parents to discuss this stuff because it's getting
worse and your children are going to have no chance if you don't wake up to the lies,
the most sinister lies that we are facing today, all of them being driven by Big Pharma.
And I am making it my mission to bring all of the work that I have done in this
space to The Daily Wire, going to start having discussions about how we bring
a shot in the dark for those of you that followed my vaccine series and
other elements.
Because in my personal opinion, the most important work that I've ever done
has been speaking to parents about how corrupt and
evil the medical industry has become.
So stay tuned, there will be a lot more work that I'm doing in that space.
And that's all I have to say about that.
All right, it's no secret that the current administration's New Year's goals are to tax,

Okay, now it's time for some Topics du Jour.
All right, it's no secret that I am anti-Big Pharma, in all of its forms,
by the way.
People know that I am against vaccines, I did not vaccinate my children.
But I'm also against taking pills just because we rely on them all the time for
just a little bit of pain.
When I mean any pill, I struggle to even get myself to take ibuprofen.
And I'm not faulting you, if you take ibuprofen,
I've taken ibuprofen many times.
But sometimes I'll stop and ask myself,
is this actually making the problem better?
You see, I have this idea that Big Pharma creates the problems, and
then they create the solution.
So I'll just give you a quick, short example before we jump into this story.
I had to get my braces tightened a couple of weeks ago, and
it really actually, for the first time, was super sore.
I thought to myself, I should take an ibuprofen.
I always know that when I take an ibuprofen, it actually removes all the pain.
And then when the pain comes back, it seems like it's more intense, right?
I have no management of the pain because I've completely removed it, and
then somehow it feels more severe.
So I just declined to take ibuprofen.
Again, in my opinion, Big Pharma is a big circle jerk, right?
It's like we create the problem, we create the solution,
the solution causes more problems.
And it has been very clear to me that for whatever reason, Big Pharma,
whether they're putting lithium in the water, they're putting fluoride in the water,
they are constantly creating issues that make people feel more helpless and
feel more hopeless, and it's going to drive those people toward suicide.
And then when people become suicidal, Big Pharma's gonna say, and
we have a solution for that.
This really is where we are headed in terms of assisted suicide.
And so recently, we have a YouTuber that has popped up documenting her bid
to kill herself.
She is a mentally ill French woman because she speaks French, and
the majority of my listeners do not.
I'm not going to play a clip from her various interviews.
But essentially, she's hit the circuit saying, I would like to be euthanized in
Belgium because I have multiple personality disorder, and
this is no way to live, and I want to die.
And it's interesting because you're going to see that even this,
the way that they're introducing assisted suicide as something that is
dying with dignity, right, the way that they are telling us these various
colloquialisms for it, dying with dignity, knowing when you are sure you want to die.
Every person has a right.
You're going to see this conversation introduced more and
more into the mainstream media.
So yes, this woman is just 23 years old.
Her name is Olympe, and
she told her 255,000 followers on her mental health channel
that she is in contact with doctors in Belgium, where assisted suicide is legal.
The content creator suffers from dissociative identity disorder,
a condition that is formed by trauma,
which is often deeply distressing to those it affects.
Now, one of the Belgian doctors who was approached by her said that clinics were
not euthanasia dispensers, and that the process can last many months or
years before someone can access assisted suicide services.
Is that supposed to make us feel better?
That one doctor said, hey, we're not euthanasia dispensers.
The process might take a few more months, or maybe even a year,
before we allow her to kill herself, which would make you guys euthanasia dispensers.
You're deciding when you're going to let somebody kill themselves.
And you're deciding, for this young woman, I'm sure she's willing to wait
a couple of months, or maybe even a year or two, if you guys ultimately allow her
to kill herself, which is why she is in contact with Brussels.
This obviously could also be done in Canada under the MAID program.
And we discussed this yesterday because I was just so disturbed by not
the fact that Elon Musk weighed in and said that people should have real freedom
means having the right to decide when you die, but because he didn't
perhaps fully think through what that means in today's context when we have
people that are arguing that the government should help them die.
Obviously, this young woman needs help, and what she doesn't need is attention.
It's probably the worst thing.
If you start saying, I want to kill myself, and then suddenly you get viewers,
and you start earning money, and you start getting phone calls from the mainstream
media, and you earn a little bit of fame because you want to die.
Well, I think it's going to probably drive you further toward that conclusion,
because as we've talked about, people are addicted to attention, right?
So if she is getting attention for being a crazy person who wants to kill herself,
I think it's going to drive her more in that direction.
So it's really, really sad to see that this has become a mainstream conversation.
I do not doubt that within a couple of years,
you're going to start to see entire shows dedicated to this.
I could almost see this already on TLC or on MTV.
Forget My Strange Addiction, you're going to start seeing people wanting to die.
And they're probably going to give it some glorious name like Dying with Dignity.
And we're going to be crying as we watch these stories and just go,
how could you not side with euthanasia?
Haven't you seen Dying with Dignity on TLC?
Don't you understand these people really need this?
Again, this is something that I don't want to be right about, but
I am certain that if we wait a few months, I will be right about it.
Moving on, you guys, let's discuss Ghislaine Maxwell.
You have not forgot about her.
She recently gave an interview from prison.
And it's shocking to hear her, of all people,
say that she believes that Jeffrey Epstein, well, did not kill himself.
So far from the joke, that it's not really a joke.
People are actually saying we believe that he has been killed.
I think that the circumstances are incredibly suspicious.
I think one of the most suspicious elements of Jeffrey Epstein's death
is that when they wheeled him out of the prison, his face wasn't covered.
They showed his face so that media could get the picture of him,
just so people could go, that's definitely Jeffrey Epstein.
I mean, that's not protocol.
When somebody commits suicide and
you are taken out on a gurney, they cover the person's face.
So I find that to be very strange.
And I am very much in the camp that there are a lot of questions about how it is
that in such a max security prison, the person that was supposed to be watching
him just didn't realize that he killed himself.
And Ghislaine Maxwell also thinks that it's weird.
And speaking from her Florida jail to a UK broadcaster on Talk TV,
she said, quote, I don't believe it's real for one second.
So let's hear Ghislaine Maxwell in her own words, say what she believes.
I believe that he was murdered, and I was shocked.
And I wondered, how has this happened?
Because as far as I was concerned, I was sure he was going to appeal.
And I was sure that he was covered under the non-prosecution agreement.
But I wasn't in the indictment.
So I wasn't mentioned, I wasn't even one of the co-conspirators.
I obviously wish I'd never met him.
Looking back now, I probably wish I had stayed in England.
All right, so there you have it in her own words.
And then later on in the interview, she basically discusses, I mean,
her stance is that she has been victimized by this monster of media
that essentially wanted to prosecute Jeffrey Epstein,
wants to see somebody held accountable, maybe his client list.
And instead, because they can't have access to any of these people,
they're going after her.
Is there some truth to that?
Yes, absolutely.
I believe that there has been such public interest in this story,
because there should be public interest in this story,
because it's completely horrific.
But we've gotten no justice,
because Jeffrey Epstein has quote unquote killed himself.
And we've also gotten no justice,
because we know that he had a very important clientele list.
We know he was flying all of these individuals in out of the island.
And we know that these horrific sexual acts took place upon that island.
And yet, we don't have a single name.
We have not gotten any justice in the form of maybe Bill Clinton being
arrested because he was on this island.
And so instead, they offer us Galeen Maxwell.
Now, is she guilty of some things?
Yes, of course, I suspect.
But she has very much become the only fall person.
There should be many more people that had been arrested.
And the other thing that she said that was really interesting in this interview
is that she thinks Prince Andrew is innocent.
I don't really know much outside of the photo of him with Virginia Giffrey.
I hope I'm saying her last name right.
We don't really know much outside of that photo,
because he settled with her.
But right now, there's a lot of noise in the press suggesting that he
is essentially going to attempt to clear his name finally.
And she says, Galeen Maxwell, that she believes that that photo was doctored.
And Prince Andrew has maintained his innocence.
People do not believe him.
I don't know where I stand on it.
I don't feel that I have enough information to convict him or
to say that he is, or to exonerate him one way or the other.
There wasn't enough information, obviously, because he settled.
And all we saw was one picture.
And a picture can be worth a thousand words, or
it can be just a picture that is being entirely misconstrued.
So again, I think, I would actually, I wish that he hadn't settled with her,
because I'd like more information.
Because if he's involved in this, he should go to prison as well.
If you follow me on Instagram,
you know that I've been waking up at 4.30 AM to work out.

All right guys, we should cover, obviously, people have been following
the back and forth between The Daily Wire and Steven Crowder,
who launched this movement, if you want to call it that, Stop a Big Con.
After he received a $50 million, not contract, but a term sheet,
essentially a conversation starter from The Daily Wire.
And then kind of came back and said, well, I don't think 50 million's enough.
$120 million would be better.
Daily Wire said, we're not going to play ball for $120 million.
And Steven Crowder then took a couple of months to gather his thoughts,
then decided to call our CEO, Jeremy Boring, and to record him,
to take him out of context, and to release all of this onto the Internet.
And said, actually, I was never going to take this contract.
I think that they're big cons, because they're colluding somehow with big tech.
Because we're on YouTube, just like he's on YouTube, but
Daily Wire's not demonetized, and he is.
You know the whole back and forth, you don't need to get into it.
Yesterday, he went on to Tim Pool.
He heavily advertised his appearance and said, I'm going to be on tonight.
I'm going to answer all the questions.
What actually happened was he answered none of the questions.
He dodged a lot of the questions.
And Tim Pool, who I like very much, did not push back on this.
And that was very much the consensus in the comments and
the consensus on Twitter, was why didn't you ask him about his own employee
contracts?
He soured a lot of relationships with his former employees,
Sven the Computer, Not Gay Jared.
No questions were asked about that throughout this entire interview,
about whether or not he was holding them.
And they were not allowed to speak out on why those relationships that he's had with
his own employees have soured, or
why not if his employees are speaking up on his behalf?
It's kind of an interesting contrast, that you have people at The Daily Wire
that are upset, understandably, of how we have been portrayed by somebody
who alleges he was a great friend of Jeremy Boring and Ben Shapiro.
But you don't see this on the side of Steven Crowder.
And he has soured a lot of relationships, not just with The Daily Wire,
all across the board, speak to any conservative company, big or small.
They don't like to work with him.
And he has been very nasty to people behind the scenes.
I'm just telling you what I know.
You can fact check me in your own capacity.
Now, two things that he said during this interview, he first tried to assert, and
I wanna point this because this was really so crucial to me.
Was that if he received this term sheet and he was just so
outraged by the terms, and it was completely a non-starter,
why did he come back to The Daily Wire with a $120 million offer?
And what you'll see is that he says, we never did that.
And then he very quickly says, maybe my agent or manager did do that.
And then changes the subject very quickly, which is,
maybe my agent did do that, is essentially you saying, yeah, that happened.
We countered.
Take a listen to Steven Crowder.
So there was no counter offer, because I'm seeing a lot of you guys saying-
There was the agent, I think my agent, the first, they sent this term sheet.
The agent said, well, if you're talking about 100% ownership, by the way,
in perpetuity forever, meaning, and it's a six-year contract,
with no option to negotiate.
They have an option to extend for two years, six years, locked in at that rate.
And again, right, how do you penalize someone for money that they don't make?
They're not gonna lose money on you being demonetized.
Now, I get that I'm a special situation, but
they said this is demanded of everybody.
So there you go, it's, no, no, no, no, no, absolutely, I think my agent maybe,
again, it was about whether or not it was gonna be six years.
Pretty obvious, should be very obvious to every single person that essentially,
what he's saying is, well, maybe my agent, yes,
your agent got back and said $120 million.
So it was a starting conversation.
You knew that this was taking place.
And I don't even, like I said, I'm past angry with the situation.
I do feel bad for him, because I know more of what's going on in the background.
And I do believe that this is a man that is spiraling.
But it's so important that we inject truth into this.
And you cannot say that you were so offended by a contract, so offended,
mortally wounded by the concept of a contract that your agent,
as if you are too, you guys don't speak, went back and said, okay, $120 million.
And then, you're right, after that,
Daily Wire never came back with any other term sheet.
It was never a contract whatsoever.
And then the second thing, which I thought was borderline delusional,
was him likening himself to James O'Keefe, when people are rightfully outraged
that irrespective of what you thought about this term sheet, you would record
your friend, and then release contents of the conversation chopped up,
so people can't discern the context whatsoever.
Here's what he had to say about that.
If you had the ability, if someone's going out saying, hey,
you're a difficult person who only cares about the money, and that you're a.
And you had the opportunity to clear it in because it was verifiably untrue,
which now no one is arguing.
How else would people switch from, it was about a $50 million salary,
to, recording a phone call.
Does James, do we allow it when James O'Keefe does it?
Is it only when corruption is on the side of the left?
That's nothing short of delusional.
James O'Keefe does some of the most important work in this movement.
He's not recording his friends talking about $50 million and
$120 million contracts and offers.
What he is doing is he is going undercover in organizations like Pfizer,
in the middle of lockdowns, and speaking to individuals and
executives trying to figure out whether they are intentionally harming
individuals, whether or not they are intentionally poisoning individuals.
Whether or not they are intentionally censoring individuals,
like they are doing over at Twitter.
Whether or not they are targeting our freedoms,
our constitutional freedoms, like the freedom of speech, okay?
That is such serious, important work.
I am one of James O'Keefe's biggest cheerleaders and supporters,
because I have watched him from the beginning, how hard and
the effort that he has made to build what he has.
And to align yourself, to pretend that there is a manner or
any path for you to align yourself with his work, in terms of what you did,
makes it sound like James O'Keefe is so small and so petty.
And he should be deeply offended that you put yourself in his same category.
The truth, and I think that the Internet was able to see this,
which is why it is not worth us saying anything more, in my opinion.
I don't know what the Daily Wire is going to say about it further.
But the reason why this doesn't really matter is I think that people are really
seeing just how nasty what you did was.
And I think that I would hope that you would come to terms with the fact that
you owe everybody an apology, that this was never necessary,
that you can start whatever company you want.
You don't get to step in like a socialist, and it is socialist-like.
These are the demands that you hear when people are trying to establish a union.
When the Amazon workers have walked out, because they have decided that they are
worth more, that they should have three-hour lunch breaks.
They've gotten their contract from Amazon, and
they realize that there are lunch breaks for only one hour.
And that they're required to show up to work, and
they think they should be able to work from home for three days a week post-COVID.
And they walk out, and they want to establish a union.
And this is the big con, it's Amazon.
No, this is the free markets.
And so to Tim Pool, what I would say, and I like Tim Pool, and
I think that he is always very kind to all of his guests that he has on his show.
But when he says that he doesn't think $50 million is enough,
I would like to say that the free markets will answer that question, right?
It doesn't look like anybody's come to him with an offer that's bigger.
So you can feel however you feel on the inside,
you can calculate your own self-worth.
My mommy and daddy can tell me that I am worth $100 million.
But if I go into a meeting, and they say you're not worth $100 million, and
I go into the next meeting, and they don't offer me $100 million, and
the third meeting, and they don't offer me $100 million.
It might be time for me to realize that maybe I'm not worth $100 million.
That is the beauty, that is the symphony of the free markets.
I can't believe that I have to explain this to people that are conservatives,
that say that they are fighting for the future of this country.
We are capitalists, we believe in the free markets.
We believe in the right for a company to look at you and say, sorry,
it's not for me.
We believe in the right of an employee to look at a contract, to sign a contract,
and say, yes, this is for me, or to simply walk away and say, you know what?
I have such better ideas, I can go start my own company.
Or you know what?
I know of my own worth, and
I know that the next guy's going to offer me something bigger.
And if you don't believe in that, and your manner is that you're going to walk
outside of those negotiations, and throw a temper tantrum, and a parade for yourself,
and cry, and try to unionize, then you know what?
I don't know if this country really is true.
That's not a message to Crowder, that's to any person who has that mentality,
that boo-hoo-hoo, pay me what I think I'm worth in my own head.
It doesn't really work like that.
So that truly, I hope, is all that I'm going to say about that.
