Welcome to the Art Channel, today
I bring you the second chapter of this
section in which we choose characters
that were never represented in 3D or
in a realistic version. For example,
in the previous chapter we made Jake
from Adventure Time and the truth is that he
was a quite interesting result
so well it turns out that Stitch has
incredibly never been
represented in animated films
nor in 3D drawings and that is going to be
the mission that I have today so
well if you want to see how
this realistic drawing of Stitch turns out
Stay Because
we started great because we started by making
a diagonal and a circle where we
can fit the head and also the
body inside the circle with a
2b pencil I'm going to start drawing
Stitch's head inside there And the thing is that although we are going
to do it realistically What is the
base drawing, the silhouette is going to be
exactly the same as it is seen in the
cartoons since we
will give all the realistic texture. But
later with the coloring, what I am going to
do in this way following the
original structure or silhouette is then
giving it texture to make it look as
if it were an animated film but
as you already know if you have seen my
previous videos or if you don't know I
tell you now whenever I make
realistic drawings I try to make a very
very basic sketch since the We begin
to give them details now by choosing a few
markers at first, just
like we did with the previous drawing of
Jake from Adventure Time, we will make a
base layer of color using
alcohol-based markers of these different
bluish tones that will help us greatly speed up
the entire drawing process and
not only that but it will give us a touch
more depth and will also help us
to achieve more layers of coloring with
colored pencils. So what I am going to
do now is simply add
this fur with the alcohol-based markers.
yes You have to be very
careful not to come off because if you do come off
then it cannot be erased and well
as you see I am not only using a
specific color tone but I am
using three or four
different shades of blue since
we are directly Locating at
the beginning the areas with the most shade,
also highlighting that this entire first
coat color base. Notice that it has
a direction that it follows because the
structure of the hair, that is, we have to
try to ensure that this coat that we make with
the markers also follows the
hairline that way
We will have a much more
realistic texture once the blue base color
is finished I am going to start using my
very sharp black pencil to outline
the eyes so that the eyes have a
little more realism I am going to give it a
small edge on the sides and also
a series of lights and shadows instead of
painting everything black I am going to give it
some illuminated touches of
blue and some other flashes of
yellowish color Add several shades of color
in the part of the eyes instead of
painting it everything in black
will give us a certain touch of
3D texture. With the black pencil I will begin to go over
the nostrils and also the
contour of the nose and once
this is done I will also use this same
black pencil to give a little bit
of shading on all on the
left side and on the lower part of the
nose, then I will also use
some very dark bluish tones
to finish completing the nose But
that is not all, I will also be using
this Blender that comes in the box of
prismacolor pencils and what it is for
It is to intensify and saturate the colors a little
more
but since we want this
Stitch to be very realistic, that is not
enough for me. So I am going to use this
white marker with which I am going to
make small white dots
and if I go a little too far Well, I remove the
excess with my finger and by doing this
we will get an incredible texture of
muzzle pores. This is a technique that
I love to do because the truth is that
it is simple and leaves an impressive effect
[Music]
after putting all the
stippling I can also shade again
lightly with the
black pencil. That way you will make
the effect even more realistic
since we have the eyes and the nose we can
go to the inside of the ears in the
animal drawing it is a kind of
flat pink but here We are going to add some
different pink and reddish tones also
in this left ear the
reddish and pink tones are going to be a little more
accentuated since the shadow is falling
there however in the ear on the
right side as the light is coming from
that point We will make some much
lighter tones, great. At this moment
we would have what would be the
base coloring of the drawing and now we are
going to get serious about detailing
colors this time with the color black,
make a few little hairs as I
am also using some bluish pencils
but here the trick comes now and is that
we are going to do the same technique as in
Jake's video, this is baby oil and
cotton swabs and it is an excellent Blender
for mixing the colors, what it does is
intensify and mix the colors very much,
thus giving it a Much more
lively tone. Also, this oil. The good thing about it
is that it dries quite quickly and does
not leave the paper sticky at all. In fact,
once dry, you can apply a layer
of pencil again on top, so well,
as you can see, Stitch has
a great amount of fur and we are going to
have to repeat this same process for
all of it obviously at this moment
when I am making the fur I do it
quite carefully I try to have the
pencils very sharp light and
dark tones all this to get a
much more realistic texture in In this case
I was doing it in parts, I was
filling in a small area of fur and I
was giving it with the cotton swab and the
baby oil in this way I was
completing it by area. Of course, if you don't
have that baby oil, you can also
use the Blender that they usually bring.
some boxes of colored pencils and
there is no problem except that for me this
technique of using baby oil
works quite well for me so well
now all that remains is to detail and
complete all the coloring that remains
using this same technique of
course Just like before, using the
colored pencils we will follow the
hairline, take the opportunity to say
that if you are liking this series I
would love for you to tell me about any
character that you like that I would like them to
make realistic but as you already know,
it has to be any
cartoon character anime or whatever that has
never been interpreted in
3D animation films or something similar,
as I will always be reading your
comments and I will pay attention to the ones that
have the most likes. Although this process is
a little slow, the truth is that the fact
of drawing little hairs It is quite
pleasant and I don't know about you, but for me
the fact of starting to draw something
realistic makes me feel quite calm,
I feel very relaxed
[Music]
in the eye area and also in the
chin and belly, which has a tone
lighter bluish we will do a little the
same but using slightly
lighter tones once we apply
the swab with the baby oil
it will acquire an
impressively realistic texture I will continue
doing So this same thing also on
the belly part and the
[Music]
chin
[Music]
of course I'm not going to forget the
nails, these are also going to have a
realistic touch So first what I do is
paint them black
[Music]
simply And again using the
white marker I will get some effects
of lights that will make these nails
look much more
3D
at this point you might think that we have
basically finished the drawing
but not at all what I am going to
do now is outline with the
pencils make some loose hairs
in some parts of the drawing and
Again using the white marker I
will also make some super
fine hairs all over the surface of the
fur. This technique works both to
give the fur a much more realistic appearance
and to also use it to
give some more touches of fur in the light areas that require it.
with which
we will get that necessary light, if you
have noticed until now, the drawing has
three phases. The first is to give the
base coloring with alcohol-based markers.
The second is to make the
more detailed hairs with
colored pencils at the same time that we are
doing the Blender. with the swab and
the third phase would be this one with this
white marker. Although of
course it could also be done with a
posca, only in this case I
like this one better because it has a finer tip
and well in this third phase the
truth is The change is already brutal, it's
amazing, but wait
because there's still a fourth phase left in
which we're still going to give it a little
more
[Music]
[Music]
realism very well We're almost
finished but we're not going to leave
Stitch floating in the air so
using graphite pencils
ranging from 7b to 4b and also
2b for the softest area I am going to
apply under the belly and
also on the left side of this
then as I apply the
graphite I am also blending it with
my
[Music]
finger and now we are entering the fourth
phase that I was talking about and also the final phase
which is about scratching a
little bit of graphite with the cutter, so as you can see it
can be a 6b, a 4b or a 2b
Depending on the darkness you want,
as you have seen, by soaking the
brush in that graphite we can add a
little more shadows throughout the
drawing with great ease. This may
seem silly, but believe me, it
makes a lot of difference, so
well, here I am already giving the final
touches with the brush to give the
final shading much more realistic And
also all the final details that
may be required and with that,
friends, we achieved this
realistic Stitch. The truth is that I
loved the result. I was already looking forward to
draw realistic things and without a doubt I think
that here we have achieved a
pretty good result. Well I would love to know what you
think, I will be reading you in the
comments and of course Comment on what
you want to be the next character
that we make for this
section here we have the result

final and nothing else before saying goodbye, if you
haven't seen Jake's from
Adventure Time, I'll leave it here in the
final screens. Thank you very much for
watching, subscribe if you haven't,
always keep drawing and we'll see you very
soon in the next video
