thank you Mr Speaker would you have the clerk report house committee substitute one clerk please report house committee substitute one to Senate joint resolution 179 gentleman from Spencer house committee substitute one just changes one reporting date from December 1st to December 10th I move for adoption house committee sub one motion is for the adoption of house committee substitute one is there any discussion of the committee substitute seeing none those in favor signify by voting I those posos nay house committee substitute one is adopted gentleman from Spencer Mr Speaker members if you recall in last session we adopted Senate joint resolution 98 which called for a study an independent study uh our our public postsecondary institutions particularly our Kentucky Community and Technical College system uh Senate joint resolution 179 is a followup to that uh you all are aware we have a new president Dr Ryan quarl at the kctcs uh there have been many studies that kctcs did their Heron report uh they recently had an audit that came back with some concerning findings uh they are in the process uh they have done an RFP for a forensic audit of the tire kctcs system and what this resolution would do it would direct uh kctcs to uh study these issues and come back with specific recommendations to the general assembly to consider in the 2025 session M speaker I move for adoption a senate joint resolution 179 is amended by house committee sub one
